And remember We took your covenant and We raised above you (the towering height) of Mount (Sinai): (Saying): "Hold firmly to what We have given you, and hearken (to the Law)": They said:" We hear, and we disobey:" And they had to drink into their hearts (of the taint) of the calf because of their Faithlessness. Say: "Vile indeed are the behests of your Faith if ye have any faith!"

Say: "If the last Home, with Allah, be for you specially, and not for anyone else, then seek ye for death, if ye are sincere."

And they say: "None shall enter Paradise unless he be a Jew or a Christian." Those are their (vain) desires. Say: "Produce your proof if ye are truthful."

Were ye witnesses when death appeared before Jacob? Behold, he said to his sons: "What will ye worship after me?" They said: "We shall worship Thy god and the god of thy fathers, of Abraham, Isma'il and Isaac,- the one (True) Allah: To Him we bow (in Islam)."

We see the turning of thy face (for guidance to the heavens: now Shall We turn thee to a Qibla that shall please thee. Turn then Thy face in the direction of the sacred Mosque: Wherever ye are, turn your faces in that direction. The people of the Book know well that that is the truth from their Lord. Nor is Allah unmindful of what they do.

So from whencesoever Thou startest forth, turn Thy face in the direction of the sacred Mosque; and wheresoever ye are, Turn your face thither: that there be no ground of dispute against you among the people, except those of them that are bent on wickedness; so fear them not, but fear Me; and that I may complete My favours on you, and ye May (consent to) be guided;

O ye who believe! Eat of the good things that We have provided for you, and be grateful to Allah, if it is Him ye worship.

(Fasting) for a fixed number of days; but if any of you is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed number (Should be made up) from days later. For those who can do it (With hardship), is a ransom, the feeding of one that is indigent. But he that will give more, of his own free will,- it is better for him. And it is better for you that ye fast, if ye only knew.

Permitted to you, on the night of the fasts, is the approach to your wives. They are your garments and ye are their garments. Allah knoweth what ye used to do secretly among yourselves; but He turned to you and forgave you; so now associate with them, and seek what Allah Hath ordained for you, and eat and drink, until the white thread of dawn appear to you distinct from its black thread; then complete your fast Till the night appears; but do not associate with your wives while ye are in retreat in the mosques. Those are Limits (set by) Allah: Approach not nigh thereto. Thus doth Allah make clear His Signs to men: that they may learn self-restraint.

It is no crime in you if ye seek of the bounty of your Lord (during pilgrimage). Then when ye pour down from (Mount) Arafat, celebrate the praises of Allah at the Sacred Monument, and celebrate His praises as He has directed you, even though, before this, ye went astray.

And (further) their Prophet said to them: "A Sign of his authority is that there shall come to you the Ark of the covenant, with (an assurance) therein of security from your Lord, and the relics left by the family of Moses and the family of Aaron, carried by angels. In this is a symbol for you if ye indeed have faith."

O ye who believe! Fear Allah, and give up what remains of your demand for usury, if ye are indeed believers.

If the debtor is in a difficulty, grant him time Till it is easy for him to repay. But if ye remit it by way of charity, that is best for you if ye only knew.

If ye are on a journey, and cannot find a scribe, a pledge with possession (may serve the purpose). And if one of you deposits a thing on trust with another, Let the trustee (Faithfully) discharge His trust, and let him fear his Lord. Conceal not evidence; for whoever conceals it,- His heart is tainted with sin. And Allah Knoweth all that ye do.

Say: "If ye do love Allah, Follow me: Allah will love you and forgive you your sins: For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

Surely therein is a Sign for you if ye did believe;

Behold! Allah said: "O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection: Then shall ye all return unto me, and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute.

It is not (possible) that a man, to whom is given the Book, and Wisdom, and the prophetic office, should say to people: "Be ye my worshippers rather than Allah's": on the contrary (He would say) "Be ye worshippers of Him Who is truly the Cherisher of all: For ye have taught the Book and ye have studied it earnestly."

And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude Allah's favour on you; for ye were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, ye became brethren; and ye were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus doth Allah make His Signs clear to you: That ye may be guided.

On the Day when some faces will be (lit up with) white, and some faces will be (in the gloom of) black: To those whose faces will be black, (will be said): "Did ye reject Faith after accepting it? Taste then the penalty for rejecting Faith."

Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah. If only the People of the Book had faith, it were best for them: among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors.

O ye who believe! Take not into your intimacy those outside your ranks: They will not fail to corrupt you. They only desire your ruin: Rank hatred has already appeared from their mouths: What their hearts conceal is far worse. We have made plain to you the Signs, if ye have wisdom.

他说：“阿丹啊！你把这些事物的名称告诉他们吧。”当他把那些事物的名称告诉他们的时候，真主说：“难道我没有对你们说过吗？我的确知道天地的幽玄，我的确知道你们所表白的，和你们所隐讳的。”

当时，你们杀了一个人，你们互相抵赖。而真主是要揭穿你们所隐讳的事实的。

有人对他们说：“你们应当信真主所降示的经典。”他们就说：“我们信我们所受的启示。”他们不信此後的经典，其实，这部经典是真实的，能证实他们所有的经典。你说：“如果你们是信道的人，以前你们为甚麽杀害众先知呢？”

当时，我与你们缔约，并将山岳树立在你们的上面，我说：“你们当坚守我所赐你们的经典，并当听从。”他们说：“我们听而不从。”他们不信道，故对犊之爱，已浸润了他们的心灵。你说：“如果你们是信士，那末，你们的信仰所命你们的真恶劣！”

你说：“如果在真主那里的後世的安宅，是你们私有的，他人不得共享，那末，你们若是诚实的，你们就希望早死吧！”

他们说：“除犹太教徒和基督教徒外，别的人绝不得入乐园。”这是他们的妄想。你说：“如果你们是诚实的，那末，你们拿出证据来吧！”

当叶尔孤白临死的时候，你们在埸吗？当时，他对他的儿子们说：“我死之後，你们将崇拜甚麽？”他们说：“我们将崇拜你所崇拜的，和你的祖先易卜拉欣、易司马仪、易司哈格所崇拜的──独一的主宰──我们只归顺他。”

我确已见你反复地仰视天空，故我必使你转向你所喜悦的朝向。你应当把你的脸转向禁寺。你们无论在那里，都应当把你们的睑转向禁寺。曾受天经者必定知道这是从他们的主降示的真理，真主绝不忽视他们的行为。

你无论从那里出去，都应当把你的脸转向禁寺。你们无论在那里都应当把你们的脸转向它，以免他人对你们有所借口。惟他们中不义的人除外，但你们不要畏惧他们，你们当畏惧我，以便我成全我所施於你们的恩典，以便你们遵循正道。

信道的人们啊！你们可以吃我所供给你们的佳美的食物，你们当感谢真主，如果你们只崇拜他。

故你们当斋戒有数的若干日。你们中有害病或旅行的人，当依所缺的日数补斋。难以斋戒者，当纳罚赎，即以一餐饭，施给一个贫民。自愿行善者，必获更多的善报。斋戒对於你们是更好的，如果你们知道。

斋戒的夜间，准你们和妻室交接。她们是你们的衣服，你们是她们的衣服。真主已知道你们自欺，而恕饶你们，赦免你们；现在，你们可以和她们交接，可以求真主为你们注定的（子女），可以吃，可以饮，至黎明时天边的黑线和白线对你们截然划分。然後整日斋戒，至於夜间。你们在清真寺幽居的时候，不要和她们交接。这是真主的法度，你们不要临近它。真主这样为世人阐明他的迹象，以便他们敬畏。

寻求主的恩惠，对於你们是无罪的。你们从阿赖法特结队而行的时候，当在禁寺附近记念真主，你们当记念他，因为他曾教导你们，从前你们确是迷误的。

他们的先知对他们说：“他的国权的迹象，是约柜降临你们，约柜里有从主降下的宁静，与穆萨的门徒和哈伦的门徒的遗物，众天神载负著它。对於你们，此中确有一种迹象，如果你们是信士。”

信道的人们啊！如果你们真是信士，那末，你们当敬畏真主，当放弃余欠的利息。

如果债务者是穷迫的，那末，你们应当待他到宽裕的时候；你们若把他所欠的债施舍给他，那对於你们是更好的，如果你们知道。

如果你们在旅行中（借贷），而且没有代书的人，那末，可交出抵押品；如果你们中有一人信托另一人，那末，受信托的人，当交出他所受的信托物，当敬畏真主──他的主。你们不要隐讳见证，谁隐讳见证，谁的心确是有罪的。真主是全知你们的行为的。

你说：“如果你们喜爱真主，就当顺从我；（你们顺从我），真主就喜爱你们，就赦宥你们的罪过。真主是至赦的，是至慈的。”

他要使他去教化以色列的后裔。（尔撒说）：我确已把你们的主所降示一种迹象，带来给你们了。我必定为你们用泥做一个象鸟样的东西，我吹口气在里面，它就奉真主的命令而飞动。我奉真主的命令，能医治天然盲、大麻疯，又能使死者复活，又能把你们所吃的和你们储藏在家里的食物告诉你们。对于你们，此中确有一种迹象，如果你们是信道的人。

当时，真主对尔撒说：“我必定要使你寿终，要把你擢升到我那里，要为你涤清不信道者的诬蔑，要使信仰你的人，在不信仰你的人之上，直到复活日。然后你们只归于我，我要为你们判决你们所争论的是非。

一个人既蒙真主赏赐经典，智慧和预言，他不至对世人说：“你们做我的奴仆，不要做真主的奴仆。”但（他必说）：“你们当做崇拜造物主的人，因为你们教授天经，诵习天经。”

一切食物对于以色列的后裔，原是合法的。除非在降示《讨拉特》之前易司拉仪（的后裔）自己所戒除的食物。你说：“你们拿《讨拉特》来当面诵读吧，如果你们是诚实的。”

你们当全体坚持真主的绳索，不要自己分裂。你们当铭记真主所赐你们的恩典，当时，你们原是仇敌，而真主联合你们的心，你们借他的恩典才变成教胞；你们原是在一个火坑的边缘上的，是真主使你们脱离那个火坑。真主如此为你们阐明他的迹象，以便你们遵循正道。

在那日，有些脸将变成白皙的，有些脸将变成黧黑的。至于脸色变黑的人（天神将对他们说）：”你们既信道之后又不信道吗？你们为不信道而尝试刑罚吧。”

你们是为世人而被产生的最优秀的民族，你们劝善戒恶，确信真主。假若信奉天经的人确信正道，那对于他们是更好的。他们中有一部分是信士，大部分是罪人。

信道的人们啊！你们不要以不同教的人为心腹，他们不遗余力谋害你们，他们希望你们遭难，他们的口中已吐露怨恨，他们的胸中所隐讳的，尤为恶毒。我确已为你们阐明许多迹象，如果你们是能了解的。
