How can ye reject the faith in Allah?- seeing that ye were without life, and He gave you life; then will He cause you to die, and will again bring you to life; and again to Him will ye return.

Ye People of the Book! Why reject ye the Signs of Allah, of which ye are (Yourselves) witnesses?

Say: "O People of the Book! Why reject ye the Signs of Allah, when Allah is Himself witness to all ye do?"

And how would ye deny Faith while unto you are rehearsed the Signs of Allah, and among you Lives the Messenger? Whoever holds firmly to Allah will be shown a way that is straight.

On the Day when some faces will be (lit up with) white, and some faces will be (in the gloom of) black: To those whose faces will be black, (will be said): "Did ye reject Faith after accepting it? Taste then the penalty for rejecting Faith."

They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks;-

If thou couldst but see when they are confronted with their Lord! He will say: "Is not this the truth?" They will say: "Yea, by our Lord!" He will say: "Taste ye then the penalty, because ye rejected Faith."

Their prayer at the House (of Allah) is nothing but whistling and clapping of hands: (Its only answer can be), "Taste ye the penalty because ye blasphemed."

"Embrace ye the (fire) this Day, for that ye (persistently) rejected (Truth)."

And on the Day that the Unbelievers will be placed before the Fire, (they will be asked,) "Is this not the Truth?" they will say, "Yea, by our Lord!" (One will say:) "Then taste ye the Penalty, for that ye were wont to deny (Truth)!"

If they were to get the better of you, they would behave to you as enemies, and stretch forth their hands and their tongues against you for evil: and they desire that ye should reject the Truth.

你们怎麽不信真主呢？你们原是死的，而他以生命赋予你们，然後使你们死亡，然後使你们复活；然後你们要被召归於他。

信奉天经的人啊！你们明知真主的迹象是真的，你们为什么不信那些迹象呢？

你说：“信奉天经的人啊！真主是见证你们的行为的，你们为什么不信真主的迹象呢?”

你们常常听见别人对你们宣读真主的迹象，使者又与你们相处，你们怎么不信道呢？谁信托真主，谁确已被引导于正路。

在那日，有些脸将变成白皙的，有些脸将变成黧黑的。至于脸色变黑的人（天神将对他们说）：”你们既信道之后又不信道吗？你们为不信道而尝试刑罚吧。”

他们希望你们象他们那样不信道，而你们与他们同为一党。故你们不可以他们为盟友，直到他们为主道而迁移。如果他们违背正道，那末，你们在那里发现他们，就在那里捕杀他们；你们不要以他们为盟友，也不要以他们为援助者，

当他们奉命站在他们的主那里的时候，假若你看见他们的情状……。真主将说：“难道这不是真实的吗？”他们将说：“不然，以我们的主发誓！”他将说：“你们尝试刑罚吧，因为你们从前不信它。”

他们在禁寺附近的礼拜，只是打呼哨和拍掌。（不信道的人啊！）你们为不信道而尝试刑罚吧。

你们生前不肯信道，所以今日，你们当入火狱。”

不信道的人们遭受火刑之日，或者将对他们说：“难道这刑罚不是真实的吗？”他们将说：“是真实的，以我们的主盟誓！”他将说：“你们尝试刑罚吧！因为你们没有信道。”

如果他们发现你们，他们就变成你们的敌人，他们杀害你们，辱骂你们，希望你们叛道。
