"But those who reject Faith and belie Our Signs, they shall be companions of the Fire; they shall abide therein."

Nay, those who seek gain in evil, and are girt round by their sins,- they are companions of the Fire: Therein shall they abide (For ever).

And remember Abraham said: "My Lord, make this a City of Peace, and feed its people with fruits,-such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day." He said: "(Yea), and such as reject Faith,-for a while will I grant them their pleasure, but will soon drive them to the torment of Fire,- an evil destination (indeed)!"

And those who followed would say: "If only We had one more chance, We would clear ourselves of them, as they have cleared themselves of us." Thus will Allah show them (The fruits of) their deeds as (nothing but) regrets. Nor will there be a way for them out of the Fire.

They are the ones who buy Error in place of Guidance and Torment in place of Forgiveness. Ah! what boldness (They show) for the Fire!

And there are men who say: "Our Lord! Give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and defend us from the torment of the Fire!"

They ask thee concerning fighting in the Prohibited Month. Say: "Fighting therein is a grave (offence); but graver is it in the sight of Allah to prevent access to the path of Allah, to deny Him, to prevent access to the Sacred Mosque, and drive out its members." Tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter. Nor will they cease fighting you until they turn you back from your faith if they can. And if any of you Turn back from their faith and die in unbelief, their works will bear no fruit in this life and in the Hereafter; they will be companions of the Fire and will abide therein.

Do not marry unbelieving women (idolaters), until they believe: A slave woman who believes is better than an unbelieving woman, even though she allures you. Nor marry (your girls) to unbelievers until they believe: A man slave who believes is better than an unbeliever, even though he allures you. Unbelievers do (but) beckon you to the Fire. But Allah beckons by His Grace to the Garden (of bliss) and forgiveness, and makes His Signs clear to mankind: That they may celebrate His praise.

Allah is the Protector of those who have faith: from the depths of darkness He will lead them forth into light. Of those who reject faith the patrons are the evil ones: from light they will lead them forth into the depths of darkness. They will be companions of the fire, to dwell therein (For ever).

Those who devour usury will not stand except as stand one whom the Evil one by his touch Hath driven to madness. That is because they say: "Trade is like usury," but Allah hath permitted trade and forbidden usury. Those who after receiving direction from their Lord, desist, shall be pardoned for the past; their case is for Allah (to judge); but those who repeat (The offence) are companions of the Fire: They will abide therein (for ever).

Those who reject Faith,- neither their possessions nor their (numerous) progeny will avail them aught against Allah: They are themselves but fuel for the Fire.

(Namely), those who say: "Our Lord! we have indeed believed: forgive us, then, our sins, and save us from the agony of the Fire;"-

And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude Allah's favour on you; for ye were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, ye became brethren; and ye were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus doth Allah make His Signs clear to you: That ye may be guided.

Those who reject Faith,- neither their possessions nor their (numerous) progeny will avail them aught against Allah: They will be companions of the Fire,-dwelling therein (for ever).

Every soul shall have a taste of death: And only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. Only he who is saved far from the Fire and admitted to the Garden will have attained the object (of Life): For the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception.

Men who celebrate the praises of Allah, standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and contemplate the (wonders of) creation in the heavens and the earth, (With the thought): "Our Lord! not for naught Hast Thou created (all) this! Glory to Thee! Give us salvation from the penalty of the Fire.

The Hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of the Fire: no helper wilt thou find for them;-

"For me, I intend to let thee draw on thyself my sin as well as thine, for thou wilt be among the companions of the fire, and that is the reward of those who do wrong."

Their wish will be to get out of the Fire, but never will they get out therefrom: their penalty will be one that endures.

If thou couldst but see when they are confronted with the Fire! They will say: "Would that we were but sent back! Then would we not reject the signs of our Lord, but would be amongst those who believe!"

But those who reject Our signs and treat them with arrogance,- they are companions of the Fire, to dwell therein (for ever).

He will say: "Enter ye in the company of the peoples who passed away before you - men and jinns, - into the Fire." Every time a new people enters, it curses its sister-people (that went before), until they follow each other, all into the Fire. Saith the last about the first: "Our Lord! it is these that misled us: so give them a double penalty in the Fire." He will say: "Doubled for all" : but this ye do not understand.

He will say: "Enter ye in the company of the peoples who passed away before you - men and jinns, - into the Fire." The Companions of the Garden will call out to the Companions of the Fire: "We have indeed found the promises of our Lord to us true: Have you also found Your Lord's promises true?" They shall say, "Yes"; but a crier shall proclaim between them: "The curse of Allah is on the wrong-doers;-

When their eyes shall be turned towards the Companions of the Fire, they will say: "Our Lord! send us not to the company of the wrong-doers."

The Companions of the Fire will call to the Companions of the Garden: "Pour down to us water or anything that Allah doth provide for your sustenance." They will say: "Both these things hath Allah forbidden to those who rejected Him."

Thus (will it be said): "Taste ye then of the (punishment): for those who resist Allah, is the penalty of the Fire."

It is not for such as join gods with Allah, to visit or maintain the mosques of Allah while they witness against their own souls to infidelity. The works of such bear no fruit: In Fire shall they dwell.

But those who have earned evil will have a reward of like evil: ignominy will cover their (faces): No defender will they have from (the wrath of) Allah: Their faces will be covered, as it were, with pieces from the depth of the darkness of night: they are companions of the Fire: they will abide therein (for aye)!

Those who are wretched shall be in the Fire: There will be for them therein (nothing but) the heaving of sighs and sobs:

不信道而且否认我的迹象的人，是火狱的居民，他们将永居其中。”

不然，凡作恶而为其罪孽所包罗者，都是火狱的居民，他们将永居其中。

当时，易卜拉欣说：“我的主啊！求你使这里变成安宁的地方，求你以各种粮食供给这里的居民──他们中信真主和末日的人。”他说：“不信道者，我将使他暂时享受，然後强逼他去受火刑。那结果真恶劣！”

随从的人，将说：“但愿我们得返麈世，那末，我们将与他们绝交，犹如他们与我们绝交一样。”真主将这样以他们的行为昭示他们，使他们感到悔恨，他们绝不能逃出火狱。

这等人，以正道换取迷误，以赦宥换取刑罚，他们真能忍受火刑！

有人说：“我们的主啊！求你在今世赏赐我们美好的（生活），在後世也赏赐我们美好的（生活），求你保护我们，免受火狱的刑罚。”

他们问你禁月内可以作战吗？你说：“禁月内作战是大罪；妨碍主道，不信真主，妨碍（朝觐）禁寺，驱逐禁寺区的居民出境，这些行为，在真主看来，其罪更大。迫害是比杀戮还残酷的。”如果他们能力充足，势必继续进攻你们，务使你们叛教。你们中谁背叛正教，至死还不信道，谁的善功在今世和後世完全无效。这等人，是火狱的居民，他们将永居其中。

你们不要娶以物配主的妇女，直到她们信道。已信道的奴婢，的确胜过以物配主的妇女，即使她使你们爱慕她。你们不要把自己的女儿嫁给以物配主的男人，直到他们信道。已信道的奴仆，的确胜过以物配主的男人，即使他使你们爱慕他。这等人叫你们入火狱，真主却随意地叫你们入乐园，和得到赦宥。他为世人阐明他的迹象，以便他们觉悟。

真主是信道的人的保佑者，使他们从重重黑暗走入光明；不信道的人的保佑者是恶魔，使他们从光明走入重重黑暗。这等人，是火狱的居民，他们将永居其中。

吃利息的人，要象中了魔的人一样，疯疯癫癫地站起来。这是因为他们说：“买卖恰象利息。”真主准许买卖，而禁止利息。奉到主的教训後，就遵守禁令的，得已往不咎，他的事归真主判决。再犯的人，是火狱的居民，他们将永居其中。

不信道者所有的财产和子嗣，对真主的刑罚，不能裨益他们一丝毫。这等人是火狱的燃料。

他们说：“我们的主啊！我们确已信道了，求你赦宥我们的罪过，求你使我们得免于火狱的刑罚。”

你们当全体坚持真主的绳索，不要自己分裂。你们当铭记真主所赐你们的恩典，当时，你们原是仇敌，而真主联合你们的心，你们借他的恩典才变成教胞；你们原是在一个火坑的边缘上的，是真主使你们脱离那个火坑。真主如此为你们阐明他的迹象，以便你们遵循正道。

不信道的人，他们的财产和子嗣，对真主的刑罚，绝不能裨益他们一丝毫；这等人是火狱的居民，将永居其中。

人人都要尝死的滋味。在复活日，你们才得享受你们的完全报酬。谁得远离火狱，而入乐园，谁已成功。今世的生活，只是虚幻的享受。

他们站着，坐着，躺着记念真主，并思维天地的创造，（他们说）：”我们的主啊！你没有徒然地创造这个世界。我们赞颂你超绝万物，求你保护我们，免受火狱的刑罚。

伪信者必入火狱的最下层，你绝不能为他们发现任何援助者。

我必定要你担负杀我的罪责，和你原有的罪恶，你将成为火狱的居民。这是不义者的报酬。”

他们想从火狱里出来，但他们绝不得出来，他们将受永恒的刑罚。

当他们奉命站在火狱边上的时候，假若你看到他们的情状……。于是，他们说：“啊！但愿我们得复返人世，我们不再否认我们的主的迹象，而我们要做信士了。”

否认我的迹象而且加以藐视者，是火狱的居民，他们将永居其中。

真主将要说：“你们同精灵和人类中以前逝去的各民族一起进入火狱吧。”每当一个民族进火狱去，总要咒骂她的姐妹民族，直到他们统统到齐了。他们中后进的论及先进的说：“我们的主啊！这等人曾使我们迷误，求你使他们受加倍的火刑。”主说：“-个人都受加倍的火刑，但你们不知道。”

真主将要说：“你们同精灵和人类中以前逝去的各民族一起进入火狱吧。”每当一个民族进火狱去，总要咒骂她的姐妹民族，直到他们统统到齐了。他们中后进的论及先进的说：“我们的主啊！这等人曾使我们迷误，求你使他们受加倍的火刑。”主说：“-个人都受加倍的火刑，但你们不知道。”

乐园的居民将大声地对火狱的居民说：“我们已发现我们的主所应许我们的是真实的了。你们是否也发现你们的主所应许你们的是真实的吗？”他们说：“是的。”于是，一个喊叫者要在他们中间喊叫说：“真主的弃绝归于不义者。

当他们的眼光转向火狱的居民的时候，他们说：“我们的主啊！来你不要使我们与不义的民众同住。”

火狱的居民将要喊叫乐园的居民说：“求你们把水或真主所供给你们的食品，倒下一点来给我们吧！”他们回答说：“真主确已禁止我们把这两样东西赠送不信道者。”

这种（刑罚）你们尝试一下吧。不信道的人，将来必受火刑。

以物配主者，在供认迷信情况下，不宜管理真主的清真寺，这等人的善功已无效果，他们将来要永居火狱之中。

作恶者每作一恶，必受同样的恶报，而且脸上有忧色--没有任何人能帮助他们对抗真主--他们的脸上彷佛有黑夜的颜色。这些人是火狱的居民，将永居其中。

至于薄命的，将进入火狱，他们在其中将要叹气，将要哽咽。
