Mankind was one single nation, and Allah sent Messengers with glad tidings and warnings; and with them He sent the Book in truth, to judge between people in matters wherein they differed; but the People of the Book, after the clear Signs came to them, did not differ among themselves, except through selfish contumacy. Allah by His Grace Guided the believers to the Truth, concerning that wherein they differed. For Allah guided whom He will to a path that is straight.

Do not marry unbelieving women (idolaters), until they believe: A slave woman who believes is better than an unbelieving woman, even though she allures you. Nor marry (your girls) to unbelievers until they believe: A man slave who believes is better than an unbeliever, even though he allures you. Unbelievers do (but) beckon you to the Fire. But Allah beckons by His Grace to the Garden (of bliss) and forgiveness, and makes His Signs clear to mankind: That they may celebrate His praise.

Allah! There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory).

Allah did indeed fulfil His promise to you when ye with His permission Were about to annihilate your enemy,-until ye flinched and fell to disputing about the order, and disobeyed it after He brought you in sight (of the booty) which ye covet. Among you are some that hanker after this world and some that desire the Hereafter. Then did He divert you from your foes in order to test you but He forgave you: For Allah is full of grace to those who believe.

Wherewith Allah guideth all who seek His good pleasure to ways of peace and safety, and leadeth them out of darkness, by His will, unto the light,- guideth them to a path that is straight.

The day it arrives, no soul shall speak except by His leave: of those (gathered) some will be wretched and some will be blessed.

Seest thou not that Allah has made subject to you (men) all that is on the earth, and the ships that sail through the sea by His Command? He withholds the sky (rain) from failing on the earth except by His leave: for Allah is Most Kind and Most Merciful to man.

And as one who invites to Allah's (grace) by His leave, and as a lamp spreading light.

It is not fitting for a man that Allah should speak to him except by inspiration, or from behind a veil, or by the sending of a messenger to reveal, with Allah's permission, what Allah wills: for He is Most High, Most Wise.

世人原是一个民族，嗣後，他们信仰分歧，故真主派众先知作报喜者和警告者，且降示他们包含真理的经典，以便他为世人判决他们所争论的是非。惟曾受天经的人，在明证降临之後，为互相嫉妒，而对天经意见分歧，故真主依自己的意旨而引导信道的人，俾得明了他们所争论的真理。真主引导他所意欲的人走上正路。

你们不要娶以物配主的妇女，直到她们信道。已信道的奴婢，的确胜过以物配主的妇女，即使她使你们爱慕她。你们不要把自己的女儿嫁给以物配主的男人，直到他们信道。已信道的奴仆，的确胜过以物配主的男人，即使他使你们爱慕他。这等人叫你们入火狱，真主却随意地叫你们入乐园，和得到赦宥。他为世人阐明他的迹象，以便他们觉悟。

真主，除他外绝无应受崇拜的；他是永生不灭的，是维护万物的；瞌睡不能侵犯他，睡眠不能克服他；天地万物都是他的；不经他的许可，谁能在他那里替人说情呢？他知道他们面前的事，和他们身後的事；除他所启示的外，他们绝不能窥测他的玄妙；他的知觉，包罗天地。天地的维持，不能使他疲倦。他确是至尊的，确是至大的。

你们奉真主的命令而歼灭敌军之初，真主确已对你们实践他的约言；直到了在他使你们看见你们所喜爱的战利品之后，你们竟示弱、内争、违抗（使者的）命令。你们中有贪恋今世的，有企图后世的。嗣后，他使你们离开敌人，以便他试验你们。他确已饶恕你们。真主对于信士是有恩惠的。

真主要借这部经典指引追求其喜悦的人走上平安的道路，依自己的意志把他们从重重黑暗引入光明，并将他们引入正路。

在那日惩罚将要降临，每个人须经真主的允许才得发言，他们当中有簿命的，有幸福的。

难道你不知道吗？真主为你们制服大地上所有的事物，以及奉他的命而在海上航行的船舶，他维持着天以免坠落在地上，除非获得他许可。真主对于世人确是至爱的，确是至慈的。

为奉真主之命召人于真主者，为灿烂的明灯。

任何人也不配与真主对话，除非启示，或从帷幕的后面，或派一个使者，奉他的命令而启示他所欲启示的。他确是至尊的，确是至睿的。
