Who has made the earth your couch, and the heavens your canopy; and sent down rain from the heavens; and brought forth therewith Fruits for your sustenance; then set not up rivals unto Allah when ye know (the truth).

Mankind was one single nation, and Allah sent Messengers with glad tidings and warnings; and with them He sent the Book in truth, to judge between people in matters wherein they differed; but the People of the Book, after the clear Signs came to them, did not differ among themselves, except through selfish contumacy. Allah by His Grace Guided the believers to the Truth, concerning that wherein they differed. For Allah guided whom He will to a path that is straight.

It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book, confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind, and He sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong).

Then those who reject Faith in the Signs of Allah will suffer the severest penalty, and Allah is Exalted in Might, Lord of Retribution.

But for the Grace of Allah to thee and his Mercy, a party of them would certainly have plotted to lead thee astray. But (in fact) they will only Lead their own souls astray, and to thee they can do no harm in the least. For Allah hath sent down to thee the Book and wisdom and taught thee what thou Knewest not (before): And great is the Grace of Allah unto thee.

But Allah did pour His calm on the Messenger and on the Believers, and sent down forces which ye saw not: He punished the Unbelievers; thus doth He reward those without Faith.

It is Allah Who hath created the heavens and the earth and sendeth down rain from the skies, and with it bringeth out fruits wherewith to feed you; it is He Who hath made the ships subject to you, that they may sail through the sea by His command; and the rivers (also) hath He made subject to you.

"He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others.

Or, Who has created the heavens and the earth, and Who sends you down rain from the sky? Yea, with it We cause to grow well-planted orchards full of beauty of delight: it is not in your power to cause the growth of the trees in them. (Can there be another) god besides Allah? Nay, they are a people who swerve from justice.

And those of the People of the Book who aided them - Allah did take them down from their strongholds and cast terror into their hearts. (So that) some ye slew, and some ye made prisoners.

He created you (all) from a single person: then created, of like nature, his mate; and he sent down for you eight head of cattle in pairs: He makes you, in the wombs of your mothers, in stages, one after another, in three veils of darkness. such is Allah, your Lord and Cherisher: to Him belongs (all) dominion. There is no god but He: then how are ye turned away (from your true Centre)?

他以大地为你们的席，以天空为你们的幕，并且从云中降下雨水，而借雨水生许多果实，做你们的给养，所以你们不要明知故犯地给真主树立匹敌。

世人原是一个民族，嗣後，他们信仰分歧，故真主派众先知作报喜者和警告者，且降示他们包含真理的经典，以便他为世人判决他们所争论的是非。惟曾受天经的人，在明证降临之後，为互相嫉妒，而对天经意见分歧，故真主依自己的意旨而引导信道的人，俾得明了他们所争论的真理。真主引导他所意欲的人走上正路。

他降示你这部包含真理的经典，以证实以前的一切天经；他曾降示《讨拉特》和《引支勒》

于此经之前，以作世人的向导；又降示证据。不信真主的迹象的人，必定要受严厉的刑罚。真主是万的，是惩恶的。

假若没有真主赐你恩惠和慈恩，那末，他们中的一部分人，必欲使你迷误；他们只能使自己迷误，他们不能伤害你一丝毫。真主降示你天经和智慧，并以你所不知道的（义理）教导你。真主赐你的恩惠是重大的。

后来，真主把宁静降于其使者和信士们，并降下你们所未见的军队，他惩治了不信道者，那是不信道者的报酬。

真主创造天地，并从云中降下雨水，而借雨水生产各种果实，作为你们的给养；他为你们制服船舶，以便它们奉他的命令而航行海中；他为你们制服河流；

他为你们以大地为摇篮，他为你们在大地上开辟许多道路，他从云中降下雨水，而借雨水生产各种植物。

是那天地的创造者（更好），他为你们从云中降下雨水，以培植美丽的园圃，而你们不能使园圃中的树木生长。除真主外，难道还有应受崇拜的吗？不然，他们是悖谬的民众。

他曾使帮助他们的那些信奉天经者，从自己的堡垒上下来，并且把恐怖投在他们心里，你们杀戮一部分，俘虏一部分。

他从一个人创造你们，然后以他的同类为他的配偶。他为你们而降赐八只牲畜。他将你们造化在你们的母腹中，在三重黑暗中，一再造化你们。那是真主--你们的主，国权只是他的；除他外，绝无应受崇拜的。你们怎么悖谬呢？
