The fools among the people will say: "What hath turned them from the Qibla to which they were used?" Say: To Allah belong both east and West: He guideth whom He will to a Way that is straight.
Mankind was one single nation, and Allah sent Messengers with glad tidings and warnings; and with them He sent the Book in truth, to judge between people in matters wherein they differed; but the People of the Book, after the clear Signs came to them, did not differ among themselves, except through selfish contumacy. Allah by His Grace Guided the believers to the Truth, concerning that wherein they differed. For Allah guided whom He will to a path that is straight.
Hast thou not Turned thy vision to one who disputed with Abraham About his Lord, because Allah had granted him power? Abraham said: "My Lord is He Who Giveth life and death." He said: "I give life and death". Said Abraham: "But it is Allah that causeth the sun to rise from the east: Do thou then cause him to rise from the West." Thus was he confounded who (in arrogance) rejected faith. Nor doth Allah Give guidance to a people unjust.
O ye who believe! cancel not your charity by reminders of your generosity or by injury,- like those who spend their substance to be seen of men, but believe neither in Allah nor in the Last Day. They are in parable like a hard, barren rock, on which is a little soil: on it falls heavy rain, which leaves it (Just) a bare stone. They will be able to do nothing with aught they have earned. And Allah guideth not those who reject faith.
It is not required of thee (O Messenger), to set them on the right path, but Allah sets on the right path whom He pleaseth. Whatever of good ye give benefits your own souls, and ye shall only do so seeking the "Face" of Allah. Whatever good ye give, shall be rendered back to you, and ye shall not Be dealt with unjustly.
How shall Allah Guide those who reject Faith after they accepted it and bore witness that the Messenger was true and that Clear Signs had come unto them? but Allah guides not a people unjust.

Wherewith Allah guideth all who seek His good pleasure to ways of peace and safety, and leadeth them out of darkness, by His will, unto the light,- guideth them to a path that is straight.
O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust.
O Messenger! proclaim the (message) which hath been sent to thee from thy Lord. If thou didst not, thou wouldst not have fulfilled and proclaimed His mission. And Allah will defend thee from men (who mean mischief). For Allah guideth not those who reject Faith.
That is most suitable: that they may give the evidence in its true nature and shape, or else they would fear that other oaths would be taken after their oaths. But fear Allah, and listen (to His counsel): for Allah guideth not a rebellious people:
This is the guidance of Allah: He giveth that guidance to whom He pleaseth, of His worshippers. If they were to join other gods with Him, all that they did would be vain for them.
Of camels a pair, and oxen a pair; say, hath He forbidden the two males, or the two females, or (the young) which the wombs of the two females enclose? - Were ye present when Allah ordered you such a thing? But who doth more wrong than one who invents a lie against Allah, to lead astray men without knowledge? For Allah guideth not people who do wrong.
Do ye make the giving of drink to pilgrims, or the maintenance of the Sacred Mosque, equal to (the pious service of) those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and strive with might and main in the cause of Allah? They are not comparable in the sight of Allah: and Allah guides not those who do wrong.
Say: If it be that your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your mates, or your kindred; the wealth that ye have gained; the commerce in which ye fear a decline: or the dwellings in which ye delight - are dearer to you than Allah, or His Messenger, or the striving in His cause;- then wait until Allah brings about His decision: and Allah guides not the rebellious.
Verily the transposing (of a prohibited month) is an addition to Unbelief: the Unbelievers are led to wrong thereby: for they make it lawful one year, and forbidden another year, in order to adjust the number of months forbidden by Allah and make such forbidden ones lawful. The evil of their course seems pleasing to them. But Allah guideth not those who reject Faith.
Whether thou ask for their forgiveness, or not, (their sin is unforgivable): if thou ask seventy times for their forgiveness, Allah will not forgive them: because they have rejected Allah and His Messenger: and Allah guideth not those who are perversely rebellious.
Which then is best? - he that layeth his foundation on piety to Allah and His good pleasure? - or he that layeth his foundation on an undermined sand-cliff ready to crumble to pieces? and it doth crumble to pieces with him, into the fire of Hell. And Allah guideth not people that do wrong.

Say: "It is Allah Who gives guidance towards truth, is then He Who gives guidance to truth more worthy to be followed, or he who finds not guidance (himself) unless he is guided? what then is the matter with you? "This (say I), in order that He may know that I have never been false to him in his absence, and that Allah will never guide the snare of the false ones.
If thou art anxious for their guidance, yet Allah guideth not such as He leaves to stray, and there is none to help them.
This because they love the life of this world better than the Hereafter: and Allah will not guide those who reject Faith.
Verily this Qur'an doth guide to that which is most right (or stable), and giveth the Glad Tidings to the Believers who work deeds of righteousness, that they shall have a magnificent reward;
Thus have We sent down Clear Signs; and verily Allah doth guide whom He will!
Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The Parable of His Light is as if there were a Niche and within it a Lamp: the Lamp enclosed in Glass: the glass as it were a brilliant star: Lit from a blessed Tree, an Olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil is well-nigh luminous, though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light! Allah doth guide whom He will to His Light: Allah doth set forth Parables for men: and Allah doth know all things.
We have indeed sent down signs that make things manifest: and Allah guides whom He wills to a way that is straight.
But if they hearken not to thee, know that they only follow their own lusts: and who is more astray than one who follow his own lusts, devoid of guidance from Allah? for Allah guides not people given to wrong-doing.
It is true thou wilt not be able to guide every one, whom thou lovest; but Allah guides those whom He will and He knows best those who receive guidance.
一般愚人将说:“他们为甚麽要背弃他们原来所对的朝向呢?”你说:“东方和西方,都是真主的,他把他所意欲的人引上正路。”
世人原是一个民族,嗣後,他们信仰分歧,故真主派众先知作报喜者和警告者,且降示他们包含真理的经典,以便他为世人判决他们所争论的是非。惟曾受天经的人,在明证降临之後,为互相嫉妒,而对天经意见分歧,故真主依自己的意旨而引导信道的人,俾得明了他们所争论的真理。真主引导他所意欲的人走上正路。
难道你没有看见那个人吗?真主把国权赏赐他,故他与易卜拉欣争论他的主。当时,易卜拉欣说:“我的主能使死者生,能使生者死。”他说:“我也能使死者生,能使生者死。”易卜拉欣说:“真主的确能使太阳从东方升起,你使它从西方升起吧。”那个不信道的人,就哑口无言了。真主不引导不义的民众。
信道的人们啊!你们不要责备受施的人和损害他,而使你们的施舍变为无效,犹如为沽名而施舍财产,并不信真主和後世的人一样。他譬如一个光滑的石头,上面铺著一层浮土,一阵大雨过後,使它变得又硬又滑。他们不能获得他们所施舍的任何报酬。真主是不引导不信道的民众的。
引导他们,不是你的责任,但真主引导他所意欲的人。你们所施舍的任何美物,都是有利於你们自己的,你们只可为求真主的喜悦而施舍。你们所施舍的任何美物,你们都将享受完全的报酬,你们不受亏枉。
既表示信道,又作证使者的真实,且眼见明证的降临,然后表示不信,这样的民众,真主怎么能引导他们呢?真主是不引导不义的民众的。

真主要借这部经典指引追求其喜悦的人走上平安的道路,依自己的意志把他们从重重黑暗引入光明,并将他们引入正路。
信道的人们啊!你们不要以犹太教徒和基督教徒为盟友。他们各为其同教的盟友。你们中谁以他们为盟友,谁是他们的同教。真主必定不引导不义的民众。
使者啊!你当传达你的主所降示你的全部经典。如果你不这样做,那末,你就是没有传达他的使命。真主将保佑你免遭众人的杀害。真主必定不引导不信道的民众。
这种规定,更能使证人据实作证,或畏惧发誓之后誓言遭到拒绝。你们当敬畏真主,当听从命令。真主是不引导犯罪的民众的。
这是真主的正道,他以它引导他所欲引导的仆人。假若他们以物配主,那末,他们的善功必定变成无效的。
两只骆驼和两只黄牛。你说:“真主只以两只公的为禁物呢?还是只以两只母的为禁物呢?还是只以两只母的所孕育的为禁物呢?难道真主以此嘱咐你们的时候,你们会作见证吗?假借真主的名义而造谣,以致无知地使人迷误的人,有谁比他还不义呢?真主必定不引导不义的民众。”
供给朝觐者以饮料,并管理禁寺的人,与确信真主和末日,并为真主而奋斗的人,你们以为他俩是一样的吗?在真主看来,彼此不是相等的。真主是不引导不义的民众的。
你说:“如果你们以为自己的父亲、儿子、兄弟、妻子、亲戚,以及你们得来的财产,生怕滞销的生意,和心爱的住宅,比真主及其使者和为真主而奋斗更为可爱,那你们就等待著,直到真主执行他的命令吧。真主是不引导放肆的民众的。”
展缓禁月,适足以增加迷信,不信道的人们,因此而迷误。他们今年犯禁,明年守禁,以便符合真主所禁的月数,而犯了真主所禁的月份;他们为自己的恶行所迷惑。真主是不引导不信道的民众的。
你可以替他们求饶,也可以不替他们求饶。即使你替他们求饶七十次,真主也不会饶恕他们。因为他们不信真主及其使者。真主是不引导放肆的民众的。
以敬畏真主并祈求其喜悦为地基者更好呢?还是以倾颓的悬崖的边缘为地基,因而随著坠入火狱者更好呢?真主不引导不义的民众。
你说:“你们的配主有能导人于真理的吗?”你说:“真主能导人于真理。是能导人于真理的更宜于受人顺从呢?还是须受引导才能遵循正道的,更宜于受人顺从呢?你们怎么啦?你们怎么这样判断呢?”

“这是因为要他知道,在背地里我并没有不忠于他的行为,并且要他知道,真主不诱导不忠者的诡计。”
如果你们热望他们获得引导,那末,(你的热望是徒然的),真主不引导那误导人者,他们绝没有任何援助者。
这是因为他们宁爱今世生活而不爱后世,也因为真主不引导不信道的民众。
这部《古兰经》必引导人于至正之道,并预告行善的信士,他们将要享受最大的报酬。
我这样降示《古兰经》,作为明显的迹象,真主确是引导他所欲引导的。
真主是天地的光明,他的光明象一座灯台,那座灯台上有一盏明灯,那盏明灯在一个玻璃罩里,那个玻璃罩仿佛一颗灿烂的明星,用吉祥的橄榄油燃着那盏明灯;它不是东方的,也不是西方的,它的油,即使没有点火也几乎发光--光上加光--真主引导他所意欲者走向他的光明。真主为众人设了许多比喻, 真主是全知万事的。
我确已降示许多明白的迹象,真主指导他所意欲者走向正路。
如果他们不答应你,那末,你应当知道他们只是顺从自己的私欲。舍真主所启示的正道,而顺从自己的私欲者,有谁比他更迷误呢?真主必定不引导不义的民众。
你必定不能使你所喜爱的人遵循正道,真主却能使他所意欲的人遵循正道,他知道谁是遵循正道者。
