Nay, those who seek gain in evil, and are girt round by their sins,- they are companions of the Fire: Therein shall they abide (For ever).

Nay,-whoever submits His whole self to Allah and is a doer of good,- He will get his reward with his Lord; on such shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

When Abraham said: "Show me, Lord, how You will raise the dead, " He replied: "Have you no faith?" He said "Yes, but just to reassure my heart." Allah said, "Take four birds, draw them to you, and cut their bodies to pieces. Scatter them over the mountain-tops, then call them back. They will come swiftly to you. Know that Allah is Mighty, Wise."

Nay.- Those that keep their plighted faith and act aright,-verily Allah loves those who act aright.

"Yea, - if ye remain firm, and act aright, even if the enemy should rush here on you in hot haste, your Lord would help you with five thousand angels Making a terrific onslaught.

If thou couldst but see when they are confronted with their Lord! He will say: "Is not this the truth?" They will say: "Yea, by our Lord!" He will say: "Taste ye then the penalty, because ye rejected Faith."

When thy Lord drew forth from the Children of Adam - from their loins - their descendants, and made them testify concerning themselves, (saying): "Am I not your Lord (who cherishes and sustains you)?"- They said: "Yea! We do testify!" (This), lest ye should say on the Day of Judgment: "Of this we were never mindful":

"(Namely) those whose lives the angels take in a state of wrong-doing to their own souls." Then would they offer submission (with the pretence), "We did no evil (knowingly)." (The angels will reply), "Nay, but verily Allah knoweth all that ye did;

They swear their strongest oaths by Allah, that Allah will not raise up those who die: Nay, but it is a promise (binding) on Him in truth: but most among mankind realise it not.

The Unbelievers say, "Never to us will come the Hour": Say, "Nay! but most surely, by my Lord, it will come upon you;- by Him Who knows the unseen,- from Whom is not hidden the least little atom in the heavens or on earth: Nor is there anything less than that, or greater, but is in the Record Perspicuous:

"Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like thereof?" - Yea, indeed! for He is the Creator Supreme, of skill and knowledge (infinite)!

"(The reply will be:) 'Nay, but there came to thee my Signs, and thou didst reject them: thou wast Haughty, and became one of those who reject faith!'"

The Unbelievers will be led to Hell in crowd: until, when they arrive, there, its gates will be opened. And its keepers will say, "Did not messengers come to you from among yourselves, rehearsing to you the Signs of your Lord, and warning you of the Meeting of This Day of yours?" The answer will be: "True: but the Decree of Punishment has been proved true against the Unbelievers!"

They will say: "Did there not come to you your messengers with Clear Signs?" They will say, "Yes". They will reply, "Then pray (as ye like)! But the prayer of those without Faith is nothing but (futile wandering) in (mazes of) error!"

Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private counsels? Indeed (We do), and Our messengers are by them, to record.

See they not that Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, and never wearied with their creation, is able to give life to the dead? Yea, verily He has power over all things.

And on the Day that the Unbelievers will be placed before the Fire, (they will be asked,) "Is this not the Truth?" they will say, "Yea, by our Lord!" (One will say:) "Then taste ye the Penalty, for that ye were wont to deny (Truth)!"

(Those without) will call out, "Were we not with you?" (The others) will reply, "True! but ye led yourselves into temptation; ye looked forward (to our ruin); ye doubted (Allah's Promise); and (your false) desires deceived you; until there issued the Command of Allah. And the Deceiver deceived you in respect of Allah.

The Unbelievers think that they will not be raised up (for Judgment). Say: "Yea, By my Lord, Ye shall surely be raised up: then shall ye be told (the truth) of all that ye did. And that is easy for Allah."

They will say: "Yes indeed; a Warner did come to us, but we rejected him and said, 'Allah never sent down any (Message): ye are nothing but an egregious delusion!'"

Nay, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers.

Nay, nay! for his Lord was (ever) watchful of him!

不然，凡作恶而为其罪孽所包罗者，都是火狱的居民，他们将永居其中。

不然，凡全体归顺真主，而且行善者，将在主那里享受报酬，他们将来没有恐惧，也没有忧愁。

当时，易卜拉欣说：“我的主啊！求你昭示我你怎样使死人复活。”真主说：“难道你不信吗？”他说：“不然，（我要求实验）以便我的心安定。”真主说：“你取四只鸟，使它们倾向你，然後，在每座山上安置它们中的一部分，然後，你叫唤它们，它们就飞到你的面前来。你当知道真主是万能的，是至睿的。”

不然，凡践约而且敬畏的人，（都是真主所喜爱的）。因为真主确是喜爱敬畏者的。

不然，如果你们坚忍，并且敬畏，而敌人立刻来攻你们，那末，你们的主，将使袭击的天神五千来援助你们。”

当他们奉命站在他们的主那里的时候，假若你看见他们的情状……。真主将说：“难道这不是真实的吗？”他们将说：“不然，以我们的主发誓！”他将说：“你们尝试刑罚吧，因为你们从前不信它。”

当时，你的主从阿丹的子孙的背脊中取出他们的后裔，并使他们招认。主说：“难道我不是你们的主吗？”他们说：“怎么不是呢？我们已作证了。”（我所以要使他们招认），是因为不愿你们在复活日说，”我们生前确实忽视了这件事。”

他们在自亏的情况下，天神们使他们死亡。他们表示屈服，说：“我们没有犯过什么罪恶。”不然！真主确是全知你们的行为的。

他们指真主而发出最严重的誓言，说：“真主不使死人复活。”不然！这是他应当实践的诺言。但世人大半不知道。

不信道的人们说：“复活时不会来临我们。”你说：“不然。指我的主发誓，它必来临你们。我的主是全知幽玄的，天地间微尘重的重物，不能远离他；比那更小的，和更大的，无一件不记录在一本明白的经典中。”

难道能造天地的，不能造象他们那样的人吗？不然！他确是善造的，确是全知的。

不然！我的许多迹象，确已来临你，但都被你否认了，你妄自尊大，你变成不信道的。

不信道者，将一队一队地被赶入火狱，迨他们来到火狱前面的时候，狱门开了，管狱的天神要对他们说：“难道你们族中的使者没有来对你们宣读你们的主的迹象，并警告你们将有今日的相会吗？”他们说：“不然！不信道的人们，应当受刑罚的判决。”

他们说：“难道你们族中的使者，没有昭示你们若干明证吗？”他们说：“不然！”天神们说：“你们祈祷吧！但不信道者的祈祷只在迷误中。”

他们以为我听不见他们的秘密和私议吗？不然，我的天使们就在他们的跟前，记录他们的言行。

创造天地而不感觉疲乏的真主，是能使死者复活的。难道他们不知道吗？是的，他对于万事是全能的。

不信道的人们遭受火刑之日，或者将对他们说：“难道这刑罚不是真实的吗？”他们将说：“是真实的，以我们的主盟誓！”他将说：“你们尝试刑罚吧！因为你们没有信道。”

他们将喊叫信道的人们说：“难道我们与你们不是同道吗？”他们说：“不然，你们自欺、观望、怀疑正道，种种妄想，欺骗你们，直到真主的命令来临，猾贼曾以真主的优容欺骗你们。

不信道的人们，妄言他们绝不复活，你说：“不然！以我的主盟誓，你们必定复活，然後你们必定获得关於你们的行为的报告，这对於真主是容易的。”

他们说：“不然！警告者确已降临我们了，但我们否认他们，我们说：‘真主没有降示甚么，你们只在重大的迷误中。'”

不然，（我将集合他的骸骨），而且能使他的每个手指复原。

不然，他的主，原是鉴察他的。
