Didst thou not Turn by vision to those who abandoned their homes, though they were thousands (In number), for fear of death? Allah said to them: "Die": Then He restored them to life. For Allah is full of bounty to mankind, but Most of them are ungrateful.

In what your wives leave, your share is a half, if they leave no child; but if they leave a child, ye get a fourth; after payment of legacies and debts. In what ye leave, their share is a fourth, if ye leave no child; but if ye leave a child, they get an eighth; after payment of legacies and debts. If the man or woman whose inheritance is in question, has left neither ascendants nor descendants, but has left a brother or a sister, each one of the two gets a sixth; but if more than two, they share in a third; after payment of legacies and debts; so that no loss is caused (to any one). Thus is it ordained by Allah; and Allah is All-knowing, Most Forbearing.

Wert thou to follow the common run of those on earth, they will lead thee away from the way of Allah. They follow nothing but conjecture: they do nothing but lie.

They ask thee about the (final) Hour - when will be its appointed time? Say: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (alone): None but He can reveal as to when it will occur. Heavy were its burden through the heavens and the earth. Only, all of a sudden will it come to you." They ask thee as if thou Wert eager in search thereof: Say: "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone), but most men know not."

Can they be (like) those who accept a Clear (Sign) from their Lord, and whom a witness from Himself doth teach, as did the Book of Moses before it,- a guide and a mercy? They believe therein; but those of the Sects that reject it,- the Fire will be their promised meeting-place. Be not then in doubt thereon: for it is the truth from thy Lord: yet many among men do not believe!

The man in Egypt who bought him, said to his wife: "Make his stay (among us) honourable: may be he will bring us much good, or we shall adopt him as a son." Thus did We establish Joseph in the land, that We might teach him the interpretation of stories (and events). And Allah hath full power and control over His affairs; but most among mankind know it not.

"And I follow the ways of my fathers,- Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and never could we attribute any partners whatever to Allah: that (comes) of the grace of Allah to us and to mankind: yet most men are not grateful.

"If not Him, ye worship nothing but names which ye have named,- ye and your fathers,- for which Allah hath sent down no authority: the command is for none but Allah: He hath commanded that ye worship none but Him: that is the right religion, but most men understand not...

And when they entered in the manner their father had enjoined, it did not profit them in the least against (the plan of) Allah: It was but a necessity of Jacob's soul, which he discharged. For he was, by our instruction, full of knowledge (and experience): but most men know not.

A.L.M.R. These are the signs (or verses) of the Book: that which hath been revealed unto thee from thy Lord is the Truth; but most men believe not.

They swear their strongest oaths by Allah, that Allah will not raise up those who die: Nay, but it is a promise (binding) on Him in truth: but most among mankind realise it not.

Then did We grant you the Return as against them: We gave you increase in resources and sons, and made you the more numerous in man-power.

We have explained in detail in this Qur'an, for the benefit of mankind, every kind of similitude: but man is, in most things, contentious.

Verily this Qur'an doth explain to the Children of Israel most of the matters in which they disagree.

(It is) the promise of Allah. Never does Allah depart from His promise: but most men understand not.

Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those before them? They were superior to them in strength: they tilled the soil and populated it in greater numbers than these have done: there came to them their messengers with Clear (Signs). (Which they rejected, to their own destruction): It was not Allah Who wronged them, but they wronged their own souls.

So set thou thy face steadily and truly to the Faith: (establish) Allah's handiwork according to the pattern on which He has made mankind: no change (let there be) in the work (wrought) by Allah: that is the standard Religion: but most among mankind understand not.

We have not sent thee but as a universal (Messenger) to men, giving them glad tidings, and warning them (against sin), but most men understand not.

Say: "Verily my Lord enlarges and restricts the Provision to whom He pleases, but most men understand not."

Assuredly the creation of the heavens and the earth is a greater (matter) than the creation of men: Yet most men understand not.

The Hour will certainly come: Therein is no doubt: Yet most men believe not.

It is Allah Who has made the Night for you, that ye may rest therein, and the days as that which helps (you) to see. Verily Allah is full of Grace and Bounty to men: yet most men give no thanks.

Do they not travel through the earth and see what was the End of those before them? They were more numerous than these and superior in strength and in the traces (they have left) in the land: Yet all that they accomplished was of no profit to them.

Say: "It is Allah Who gives you life, then gives you death; then He will gather you together for the Day of Judgment about which there is no doubt": But most men do not understand.

Seest thou not that Allah doth know (all) that is in the heavens and on earth? There is not a secret consultation between three, but He makes the fourth among them, - Nor between five but He makes the sixth,- nor between fewer nor more, but He is in their midst, wheresoever they be: In the end will He tell them the truth of their conduct, on the Day of Judgment. For Allah has full knowledge of all things.

你没有知道，那为怕死而整千整万的从自己家里逃亡出去的人吗？真主曾对他们说：“你们死亡吧。”嗣後，又使他们复活。真主对於世人确是有恩惠的，但世人大半不感谢。

如果你们的妻室没有子女，那末，你们得受她们的遗产的二分之一。如果她们有子女，那末，你们得受她们的遗产的四分之一。（这种分配）须在交付亡人所嘱的遗赠或清偿亡人所欠的债务之后。如果你们没有子女，那末，你们的妻室得你们遗产的四分之一。如果你们有子女，那末，她们得你们遗产的八分之一。（这种分配），须在交付亡人所嘱的遗赠或清偿亡人所欠的债务之后。如果被继承的男子或女子，上无父母，下无子女，只有（同母异父的）更多的兄弟和姐妹，那末，他们和她们，均分遗产的三分之一。（这种分配），须在交付亡人所嘱的遗赠或清偿亡人所欠的债务之后，但留遗嘱的时候，不得妨害继承人的权利。 这是从真主发出的命令。真主是全知的，是至容的。

如果你顺从大地上的大多数人，那末，他们会使你叛离主道。他们只凭猜测，他们尽说谎话。

他们问你复活在什么时候实现，你说：“只有我的主知道，他将在什么时候实现。”你说：“只有我的主知道那个时候，只有他能在预定的时候显示它。它在天地间是重大的，它将突然降临你们。”他们问你，好像你对于它是很熟悉的，你说：“只有真主知道它在什么时候实现，但众人大半不知道（这个道理）。”

难道这等人还不如别的人吗？他们依据从他们的主降示的明证，而且他们的主所派遣的见证已继那明证而来临，在那明证之前还有穆萨的经典，那是真主所降赐的指南和慈恩。这等人是坚信那明证的。各党派中谁不信那明证，火狱将是谁的约定的地方。所以你们不要怀疑它，它确是你的主所降示的真理，但人们大半不信。

那购买他的埃及人对自己的妻子说：“你应当优待他，他也许对我们有好处，或者我们抚养他做义子。”我这样使优素福在大地上获得地位，以便我教他圆梦。真主对于其事务是自主的，但人们大半不知道。

我遵循我的祖先--易卜拉欣、易司哈格、叶尔孤白的宗教。我们不该以任何物配真主，这是真主施于我们和世人的恩惠，但世人大半不感谢。

你们舍真主而崇拜的，只是你们和你们的祖先所定的一些（偶像的）名称，真主并未加以证实，一切判决只归真主。他命令你们只崇拜他。这才是正教。但世人大半不知道。

当他们遵照他们父亲的命令而进城的时候，他对于真主的判决没有丝毫裨益，但那是叶尔孤白心中的一种希望。他已把它表白出来。他曾受我的教诲，所以他确是有知识的，但世人大半不知道。

艾列弗，俩目，米目，拉仪。这些是天经的节文。从你的主降示于你的经典，确是真实的，但众人大半不信。

他们指真主而发出最严重的誓言，说：“真主不使死人复活。”不然！这是他应当实践的诺言。但世人大半不知道。

然后，我为你们恢复了对他们的优势，我以财富和子孙资助你们，我使你们更加富庶。

在这《古兰经》里，我确已为众人阐述了各种比喻，人是争辩最多的。

这部《古兰经》，的确把以色列的后裔所争论的大部分的事理告诉他们。

真主应许（他们胜利），真主并不爽约，但人们大半不知道。

难道他们没有在大地上旅行而观察前人的结局是怎样的吗？前人比他们努力更大，前人于地方的恳植和建设，胜过他们。他们族中的使者来临他们，真主不致亏枉他们，但他们亏枉了自己，

你应当趋向正教，（并谨守）真主所赋予人的本性。真主所创造的，是不容变更的；这才是正教，但人们大半不知道。

我只派遣你为全人类的报喜者和警告者，但世人大半不知道。

你说：“我的主欲使谁的给养宽裕，就使他宽裕；欲使谁的给养窘迫，就使他窘迫。但众人大半不知道。”

创造天地，是比再造人类更难的，但世人大半不知道。

复活时必定来临，这是毫无疑义的；但众人大半不信。

真主为你们创造黑夜，以便你们安息；创造白昼，以便你们观看；真主对于人类，确是有恩惠的，但人类大半不感谢。

难道他们没有在大地上旅行，因而观察前人的结局是怎样的吗？前人比他们势力更大，成绩更多；但前人所获得的，对于自己并没有什么裨益。

你说：“真主使你们生，然后使你们死，然后在毫无疑义的复活日集合你们；但世人大半不知道。”

难道你不知道真主是全知天地万物的？凡有三个人密谈，他就是第四个参与者；凡有五个人密谈，他就是第六个参与者；凡有比那更少或更多的人密谈，无论他们在那里，他总是与他们同在的；然后在复活日，他要把他们的行为告诉他们。真主确是全知万物的。
