We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, but for just ends. And the Hour is surely coming (when this will be manifest). So overlook (any human faults) with gracious forgiveness.

Thus did We make their case known to the people, that they might know that the promise of Allah is true, and that there can be no doubt about the Hour of Judgment. Behold, they dispute among themselves as to their affair. (Some) said, "Construct a building over them": Their Lord knows best about them: those who prevailed over their affair said, "Let us surely build a place of worship over them."

"Nor do I deem that the Hour (of Judgment) will (ever) come: Even if I am brought back to my Lord, I shall surely find (there) something better in exchange."

Say: "If any men go astray, (Allah) Most Gracious extends (the rope) to them, until, when they see the warning of Allah (being fulfilled) - either in punishment or in (the approach of) the Hour,- they will at length realise who is worst in position, and (who) weakest in forces!

"Verily the Hour is coming - My design is to keep it hidden - for every soul to receive its reward by the measure of its Endeavour.

And verily the Hour will come: there can be no doubt about it, or about (the fact) that Allah will raise up all who are in the graves.

Men ask thee concerning the Hour: Say, "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone)": and what will make thee understand?- perchance the Hour is nigh!

The Hour will certainly come: Therein is no doubt: Yet most men believe not.

When we give him a taste of some Mercy from Ourselves, after some adversity has touched him, he is sure to say, "This is due to my (merit): I think not that the Hour (of Judgment) will (ever) be established; but if I am brought back to my Lord, I have (much) good (stored) in His sight!" But We will show the Unbelievers the truth of all that they did, and We shall give them the taste of a severe Penalty.

It is Allah Who has sent down the Book in Truth, and the Balance (by which to weigh conduct). And what will make thee realise that perhaps the Hour is close at hand?

Do they only wait for the Hour - that it should come on them all of a sudden, while they perceive not?

Do they then only wait for the Hour,- that it should come on them of a sudden? But already have come some tokens thereof, and when it (actually) is on them, how can they benefit then by their admonition?

我只凭真理创造天地万物，复活时是必定来临的。所以你应当温和地原谅众人。

我这样使别人窥见他们，以便他们知道真主的诺言是真实的，复活的时刻是毫无可疑的。当时，他们为此事而争论，他们说：“你们在他们的四周修一堵围墙--他们的主是最了解他们的！”主持事务的人说：“我们必定在他们的四周建筑一所礼拜寺。”

我想复活时刻不会来临。即使我被召归主，我也能发现比这园圃更好的归宿。”

你说：“在迷误中的人愿至仁主优容他们，直到他们得见他们曾被警告的：不是刑罚，就是复活时他们就知道谁的地位更恶劣，谁的军队更懦弱了。”

复活时，确是要来临的，我几乎要隐藏它， 以便每个人都因自己的行为而受报酬。

复活确是要来临的，毫无疑义，真主要使坟墓里的人复活起来。

众人问你复活时在什么时候？你说：“那只有真主才知道。”什么使你知道它何时发生呢？复活时，或许是很近的。

复活时必定来临，这是毫无疑义的；但众人大半不信。

他遭遇患难之后，如果我使他尝试从我降下的恩惠，他必定说：“这是我用工作换来的。我不信复活时会到来。如果我被召去见我的主，则我在他那里必受至善的报酬。”我必将不信道者的行为告诉他们，我必使他们尝试严重的刑罚。

真主降示包含真理的经典，并降示公平。你怎么能知道呢？复活时或许是临近的。

他们只企望着复活时不知不觉地忽然来临他们。

他们只等待复活时忽然来临他们，复活时的征候确已来临了。当复活时来临的时候，他们的觉悟，对于他们那里还会有效呢！
