They ask thee about the (final) Hour - when will be its appointed time? Say: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (alone): None but He can reveal as to when it will occur. Heavy were its burden through the heavens and the earth. Only, all of a sudden will it come to you." They ask thee as if thou Wert eager in search thereof: Say: "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone), but most men know not."

To Allah belongeth the Mystery of the heavens and the earth. And the Decision of the Hour (of Judgment) is as the twingkling of an eye, or even quicker: for Allah hath power over all things.

Those who fear their Lord in their most secret thoughts, and who hold the Hour (of Judgment) in awe.

O mankind! fear your Lord! for the convulsion of the Hour (of Judgment) will be a thing terrible!

Verily the knowledge of the Hour is with Allah (alone). It is He Who sends down rain, and He Who knows what is in the wombs. Nor does any one know what it is that he will earn on the morrow: Nor does any one know in what land he is to die. Verily with Allah is full knowledge and He is acquainted (with all things).

Men ask thee concerning the Hour: Say, "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone)": and what will make thee understand?- perchance the Hour is nigh!

To Him is referred the Knowledge of the Hour (of Judgment: He knows all): No date-fruit comes out of its sheath, nor does a female conceive (within her womb) nor bring forth the Day that (Allah) will propound to them the (question), "Where are the partners (ye attributed to Me?" They will say, "We do assure thee not one of us can bear witness!"

Only those wish to hasten it who believe not in it: those who believe hold it in awe, and know that it is the Truth. Behold, verily those that dispute concerning the Hour are far astray.

And blessed is He to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all between them: with Him is the Knowledge of the Hour (of Judgment): and to Him shall ye be brought back.

他们问你复活在什么时候实现，你说：“只有我的主知道，他将在什么时候实现。”你说：“只有我的主知道那个时候，只有他能在预定的时候显示它。它在天地间是重大的，它将突然降临你们。”他们问你，好像你对于它是很熟悉的，你说：“只有真主知道它在什么时候实现，但众人大半不知道（这个道理）。”

天地的幽玄只是真主的。复活时刻的到来，只在转瞬间，或更为迅速。真主对于万事，确是全能的。

敬畏者在秘密中敬畏他们的主，他们是为复活时而恐惧的。

众人啊！你们应当敬畏你们的主，复活时的地震，确是一件大事。

在真主那里，的确有关于复活时的知识，他常降及时雨，他知道胎儿的（性别）；而任何人都不知道自己明日将做什么事，任何人都不知道自己将死在什么地方。真主确是全知的，确是彻知的。

众人问你复活时在什么时候？你说：“那只有真主才知道。”什么使你知道它何时发生呢？复活时，或许是很近的。

关于复活时的认识，只归于他；果实的脱萼，女性的怀孕和分娩，无一不在他的洞鉴中。在那日，他将问他们：”你们妄称为我人伙伴的，在哪里呢？”他们将说：“我们报告你，我们中绝没有一个人能作证这件事。”

不信复活时的人们要求它早日实现；而确信它的人们却怕它早日实现，并且知道它是真实的。真的，为复活时而争辩的人们，的确在不近情理的迷误之中。

多福哉，有天地的国权和天地间的万物者！复活时的知识只有他知道，你们只被召归于他。
