Remember He covered you with a sort of drowsiness, to give you calm as from Himself, and he caused rain to descend on you from heaven, to clean you therewith, to remove from you the stain of Satan, to strengthen your hearts, and to plant your feet firmly therewith.

Seest thou not that Allah makes the clouds move gently, then joins them together, then makes them into a heap? - then wilt thou see rain issue forth from their midst. And He sends down from the sky mountain masses (of clouds) wherein is hail: He strikes therewith whom He pleases and He turns it away from whom He pleases, the vivid flash of His lightning well-nigh blinds the sight.

And among His Signs, He shows you the lightning, by way both of fear and of hope, and He sends down rain from the sky and with it gives life to the earth after it is dead: verily in that are Signs for those who are wise.

Verily the knowledge of the Hour is with Allah (alone). It is He Who sends down rain, and He Who knows what is in the wombs. Nor does any one know what it is that he will earn on the morrow: Nor does any one know in what land he is to die. Verily with Allah is full knowledge and He is acquainted (with all things).

He it is Who showeth you his Signs, and sendeth down sustenance for you from the sky: but only those receive admonition who turn (to Allah).

当时，他使你们睡眠，以便你们获得从他发出的安宁；他从云中降下雨水，以便洗涤你们，替你们消除恶魔的蛊惑，并使你们的心绪安静，使你们的步伐稳健。

难道你不知道吗？真主使云缓缓移动，而加以配合，然后把它堆积起来。你就看见雨从云间降下。他从天空中，从山岳般的云内，降下冰雹，用来折磨他所意欲者，而免除他所意欲者。电光闪闪，几乎夺取目光。

他的一种迹象是：他使你们以恐怖和企图的心情看电光，他从云中降下雨水，借雨水使已死的大地复活，对于能了解的民众，此中确有许多迹象。

在真主那里，的确有关于复活时的知识，他常降及时雨，他知道胎儿的（性别）；而任何人都不知道自己明日将做什么事，任何人都不知道自己将死在什么地方。真主确是全知的，确是彻知的。

他把他的迹象昭示你们，他为你们从云中降下给养；只有归依者能觉悟。
