They say: "Allah hath begotten a son" :Glory be to Him.-Nay, to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth: everything renders worship to Him.

They say: "Allah hath begotten a son!" - Glory be to Him! He is self-sufficient! His are all things in the heavens and on earth! No warrant have ye for this! say ye about Allah what ye know not?

The man in Egypt who bought him, said to his wife: "Make his stay (among us) honourable: may be he will bring us much good, or we shall adopt him as a son." Thus did We establish Joseph in the land, that We might teach him the interpretation of stories (and events). And Allah hath full power and control over His affairs; but most among mankind know it not.

Say: "Praise be to Allah, who begets no son, and has no partner in (His) dominion: Nor (needs) He any to protect Him from humiliation: yea, magnify Him for His greatness and glory!"

Further, that He may warn those (also) who say, "Allah hath begotten a son":

They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!"

That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious.

For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son.

And they say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten offspring." Glory to Him! they are (but) servants raised to honour.

He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth: no son has He begotten, nor has He a partner in His dominion: it is He who created all things, and ordered them in due proportions.

The wife of Pharaoh said: "(Here is) joy of the eye, for me and for thee: slay him not. It may be that he will be use to us, or we may adopt him as a son." And they perceived not (what they were doing)!

Had Allah wished to take to Himself a son, He could have chosen whom He pleased out of those whom He doth create: but Glory be to Him! (He is above such things.) He is Allah, the One, the Irresistible.

'And Exalted is the Majesty of our Lord: He has taken neither a wife nor a son.

他们说：“真主以人为子。”赞颂真主，超绝万物！不然，天地万物，都是他的；一切都是服从他的。

他们说：“真主以人为子。”光荣归于真主！他是无求的。天地万物都是他的。你们对此事并无明证，难道你们可以假借真主的名义而妄说出自己所不知道的事情吗？

那购买他的埃及人对自己的妻子说：“你应当优待他，他也许对我们有好处，或者我们抚养他做义子。”我这样使优素福在大地上获得地位，以便我教他圆梦。真主对于其事务是自主的，但人们大半不知道。

你说：“一切赞颂，全归真主！他没有收养儿女，没有同他共享国权的，没有为免卑贱而设的辅助者。你应当赞颂他的尊大。”

且警告妄言“真主收养儿女”的人。

他们说：“至仁主收养儿子。”

这是因为他们妄称人为至仁主的儿子。

至仁主不会收养儿子，

他们说：“至仁主以（天神）为女儿。”赞颂真主，超绝万物。不然，他们是受优待的奴仆，

天地的国土是他的；他没有收养儿子，在国土中没有伙伴。他创造万物， 并加以精密的注定。

法老的妻子说：“（这）是我和你的慰籍。你们不要杀他，也许他有利于我们，或者我们把他收为义子。”（他们听从她的话），他们不知不觉。

假若真主欲收养儿女，他必从他所造的众生中拣选他所意欲者。赞颂真主，超绝万物。他是独一至尊的真主。

赞颂我们的主的尊严！超绝万物，他没有择取妻室，也没有择取儿女。
