Didst thou not Turn by vision to those who abandoned their homes, though they were thousands (In number), for fear of death? Allah said to them: "Die": Then He restored them to life. For Allah is full of bounty to mankind, but Most of them are ungrateful.

And what think those who invent lies against Allah, of the Day of Judgment? Verily Allah is full of bounty to mankind, but most of them are ungrateful.

And when they entered in the manner their father had enjoined, it did not profit them in the least against (the plan of) Allah: It was but a necessity of Jacob's soul, which he discharged. For he was, by our instruction, full of knowledge (and experience): but most men know not.

They ask thee to hasten on the evil in preference to the good: Yet have come to pass, before them, (many) exemplary punishments! But verily thy Lord is full of forgiveness for mankind for their wrong-doing, and verily thy Lord is (also) strict in punishment.

But verily thy Lord is full of grace to mankind: Yet most of them are ungrateful.

So he went forth among his people in the (pride of his wordly) glitter. Said those whose aim is the Life of this World: "Oh! that we had the like of what Qarun has got! for he is truly a lord of mighty good fortune!"

It is Allah Who has made the Night for you, that ye may rest therein, and the days as that which helps (you) to see. Verily Allah is full of Grace and Bounty to men: yet most men give no thanks.

Nothing is said to thee that was not said to the messengers before thee: that thy lord has at his Command (all) forgiveness as well as a most Grievous Penalty.

你没有知道，那为怕死而整千整万的从自己家里逃亡出去的人吗？真主曾对他们说：“你们死亡吧。”嗣後，又使他们复活。真主对於世人确是有恩惠的，但世人大半不感谢。

假借真主的名义而造谣的人们在复活日将作何猜想呢？真主对人们，确是有恩惠的，但他们大半不感谢。

当他们遵照他们父亲的命令而进城的时候，他对于真主的判决没有丝毫裨益，但那是叶尔孤白心中的一种希望。他已把它表白出来。他曾受我的教诲，所以他确是有知识的，但世人大半不知道。

在恩惠降临之前，他们要求你早日昭示惩罚。许多惩戒处罚在他们之前确已逝去了。众人虽然不义，但你的主对于他们确是饶恕的。你的主的惩罚确是严厉的。

你的主对于世人，确是有大恩的，但他们大半是不感谢的。

戈伦曾盛装出游，以豪华夸示自己的宗族。爱今世生活的人说：“但愿我们获得戈伦所获得的（财富），他确是有大福分的。”

真主为你们创造黑夜，以便你们安息；创造白昼，以便你们观看；真主对于人类，确是有恩惠的，但人类大半不感谢。

人们对你说的，不过是以往对众使者说过的谰言，你的主，确是有赦宥的，确是有痛惩的。
