And when there comes to them a Book from Allah, confirming what is with them,- although from of old they had prayed for victory against those without Faith,- when there comes to them that which they (should) have recognised, they refuse to believe in it but the curse of Allah is on those without Faith.

When it is said to them, "Believe in what Allah Hath sent down, "they say, "We believe in what was sent down to us:" yet they reject all besides, even if it be Truth confirming what is with them. Say: "Why then have ye slain the prophets of Allah in times gone by, if ye did indeed believe?"

And when there came to them a messenger from Allah, confirming what was with them, a party of the people of the Book threw away the Book of Allah behind their backs, as if (it had been something) they did not know!

There are certainly among you men who would tarry behind: If a misfortune befalls you, they say: "Allah did favour us in that we were not present among them."

But if good fortune comes to you from Allah, they would be sure to say - as if there had never been Ties of affection between you and them - "Oh! I wish I had been with them; a fine thing should I then have made of it!"

They may hide (Their crimes) from men, but they cannot hide (Them) from Allah, seeing that He is in their midst when they plot by night, in words that He cannot approve: And Allah Doth compass round all that they do.

Already has He sent you Word in the Book, that when ye hear the signs of Allah held in defiance and ridicule, ye are not to sit with them unless they turn to a different theme: if ye did, ye would be like them. For Allah will collect the hypocrites and those who defy faith - all in Hell:-

Say: "Bring forward your witnesses to prove that Allah did forbid so and so." If they bring such witnesses, be not thou amongst them: Nor follow thou the vain desires of such as treat our signs as falsehoods, and such as believe not in the Hereafter: for they hold others as equal with their Guardian-Lord.

So We listened to him: We removed the distress that was on him, and We restored his people to him, and doubled their number,- as a Grace from Ourselves, and a thing for commemoration, for all who serve Us.

Seest thou not that Allah doth know (all) that is in the heavens and on earth? There is not a secret consultation between three, but He makes the fourth among them, - Nor between five but He makes the sixth,- nor between fewer nor more, but He is in their midst, wheresoever they be: In the end will He tell them the truth of their conduct, on the Day of Judgment. For Allah has full knowledge of all things.

If they are expelled, never will they go out with them; and if they are attacked (in fight), they will never help them; and if they do help them, they will turn their backs; so they will receive no help.

当一部经典能证实他们所有的经典，从真主降临他们的时候，（他们不信它）。以前他们常常祈祷，希望借它来克服不信道者，然而当他们业已认识的真理降临他们的时候，他们不信它。故真主的弃绝加於不信道者。

有人对他们说：“你们应当信真主所降示的经典。”他们就说：“我们信我们所受的启示。”他们不信此後的经典，其实，这部经典是真实的，能证实他们所有的经典。你说：“如果你们是信道的人，以前你们为甚麽杀害众先知呢？”

当一个使者能证实他们所有的经典的，从真主那里来临他们的时候，信奉天经的人中有一部分人，把真主的经典抛弃在他们的背後，好象他们不知道一样。

你们中的确有人逗留后方，如果你们遭遇灾难，他就说：“真主确已护佑我，因为我没有同他们在前方。”

如果从真主发出的恩惠降临你们，他必定说：--在他们与他之间好象没有一点友谊一样”但愿我曾与他们同在前方，而获得伟大的成功。”

他们躲避世人，而不躲避真主；其实，当他们策划真主所不喜悦的计谋的时候，真主是与他们同在的，真主是周知他们的行为的。

他确已在这经典中启示你们说：“当你们听见真主的迹象被人否认而加以嘲笑的时候，你们必与他们同罪。”真主必定把伪信者和不信者全体集合在火狱里。

你说：“曾见真主戒食此类禁物的见证，你们把他们召来吧！”如果他们作证，那末，你不要与他们一同作证。那些既否认我的迹象，又不信后世，而且以物配主的人，你不要顺从他们的私欲。

我就答应他的请求，而解除他所患的痼疾，并以他的家属和同样的人赏赐他，这是由于从我发出的恩惠和对于崇拜我者的记念。

我曾以他的眷属，和象他们的，同齐赏赐他。那是由我降下的慈恩，也是由于教诲有理智的人们。

难道你不知道真主是全知天地万物的？凡有三个人密谈，他就是第四个参与者；凡有五个人密谈，他就是第六个参与者；凡有比那更少或更多的人密谈，无论他们在那里，他总是与他们同在的；然后在复活日，他要把他们的行为告诉他们。真主确是全知万物的。

如果他们被放逐，伪信者不与他们一道出境；如果他们被攻击，伪信者不援助他们；即使援助他们，也必转身逃跑，使之不获援助。
