And indeed,
among
(the) People
(of) the Book
(are those) who
believe
in Allah
and what
was revealed
to you
and what
was revealed
to them -
humbly submissive
to Allah.
They (do) not exchange
[with] the Verses
(of) Allah
(for) a price
little.
Those,
for them,
their reward
(is) with
their Lord.
Indeed,
Allah
(is) swift
(in) the reckoning.
And indeed,
among you
(is) he who
lags behind
then if
befalls you
a disaster
he said,
`Verily
Allah (has) favored
[on] me
(in) that
not
I was
present with them.`
(Allah) said,
`Get out
of it
disgraced
and expelled.
Certainly, whoever
follows you
among them,
surely, I will fill
Hell
with you
all.`
He calls
(one) who -
his harm
(is) closer
than
his benefit.
Surely, an evil
protector
and surely an evil
friend!
And there are, certainly, among the People of the Book, those who believe in Allah, in the revelation to you, and in the revelation to them, bowing in humility to Allah: They will not sell the Signs of Allah for a miserable gain! For them is a reward with their Lord, and Allah is swift in account.
There are certainly among you men who would tarry behind: If a misfortune befalls you, they say: "Allah did favour us in that we were not present among them."
(Allah) said: "Get out from this, disgraced and expelled. If any of them follow thee,- Hell will I fill with you all.
(Perhaps) they call on one whose hurt is nearer than his profit: evil, indeed, is the patron, and evil the companion (or help)!
信奉天经的人中，的确有人信仰真主，信仰你们所受的启示，和他们所受的启示；同时，他们是敬事真主的，他们不以真主的迹象换取些微的代价，这等人，将在他们的主那里享受他们的报酬。真主确是清算神速的。
你们中的确有人逗留后方，如果你们遭遇灾难，他就说：“真主确已护佑我，因为我没有同他们在前方。”
主说：“你被贬责地，被弃绝地从这里出去吧！他们中凡是顺从你的，我必以你和他们一起充满火狱。”
他祈祷那有近祸而无远福的东西，他的援助者真恶劣！做他的同伴的真恶劣！
