There are certainly among you men who would tarry behind: If a misfortune befalls you, they say: "Allah did favour us in that we were not present among them."

Noah said: "O my Lord! I do seek refuge with Thee, lest I ask Thee for that of which I have no knowledge. And unless thou forgive me and have Mercy on me, I should indeed be lost!"

(Iblis) said: "I am not one to prostrate myself to man, whom Thou didst create from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape."

Praying: "O my Lord! infirm indeed are my bones, and the hair of my head doth glisten with grey: but never am I unblest, O my Lord, in my prayer to Thee!

你们中的确有人逗留后方，如果你们遭遇灾难，他就说：“真主确已护佑我，因为我没有同他们在前方。”

他说：“我的主啊！我求庇于你，以免我向你祈求我所不知道的事情，如果你不饶恕我，不怜悯我，我就变成为亏折的人了。”

他说：“你用黑色黏土塑成人像而创造的人，我不该向他叩头。”

“我的主啊！我的骨骼已软弱了，我已白发苍苍了，我的主啊！我没有为祈祷你而失望。
