(They are) those who have been expelled from their homes in defiance of right,- (for no cause) except that they say, "our Lord is Allah". Did not Allah check one set of people by means of another, there would surely have been pulled down monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques, in which the name of Allah is commemorated in abundant measure. Allah will certainly aid those who aid his (cause);- for verily Allah is full of Strength, Exalted in Might, (able to enforce His Will).

(Some part is due) to the indigent Muhajirs, those who were expelled from their homes and their property, while seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure, and aiding Allah and His Messenger: such are indeed the sincere ones:-

If they are expelled, never will they go out with them; and if they are attacked (in fight), they will never help them; and if they do help them, they will turn their backs; so they will receive no help.

他们被逐出故乡，只因他们常说：“我们的主是真主。”要不是真主以世人互相抵抗，那么许多修道院、礼拜堂、犹太会堂，清真寺--其中常有人记念真主之名的建筑物--必定被人破坏了。凡扶助真主的大道者，真主必定扶助他；真主确是至强的，确是万能的。

那些逆产一部分归迁士中的贫民，他们曾被驱逐出境，以致丧失自己的房屋和财产。他们寻求从真主发出的恩典和喜悦，他们协助真主和使者；这等人，确是说实话的。

如果他们被放逐，伪信者不与他们一道出境；如果他们被攻击，伪信者不援助他们；即使援助他们，也必转身逃跑，使之不获援助。
