(Charity is) for those in need, who, in Allah's cause are restricted (from travel), and cannot move about in the land, seeking (For trade or work): the ignorant man thinks, because of their modesty, that they are free from want. Thou shalt know them by their (Unfailing) mark: They beg not importunately from all the sundry. And whatever of good ye give, be assured Allah knoweth it well.

Alms are for the poor and the needy, and those employed to administer the (funds); for those whose hearts have been (recently) reconciled (to Truth); for those in bondage and in debt; in the cause of Allah; and for the wayfarer: (thus is it) ordained by Allah, and Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.

(Some part is due) to the indigent Muhajirs, those who were expelled from their homes and their property, while seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure, and aiding Allah and His Messenger: such are indeed the sincere ones:-

（施舍）应归那些贫民，他们献身於主道，不能到远方去谋生；不明他们的真相的人，以为他们是富足的，因为他们不肯向人乞讨。你从他们的仪表可以认识他们，他们不会呶呶不休地向人乞讨。你们所施舍的任何美物，确是真主所知道的。

赈款只归于贫穷者、赤贫者、管理赈务者、心被团结者、无力赎身者、不能还债者、为主道工作者、途中穷困者；这是真主的定制。真主是全知的，是至睿的。

那些逆产一部分归迁士中的贫民，他们曾被驱逐出境，以致丧失自己的房屋和财产。他们寻求从真主发出的恩典和喜悦，他们协助真主和使者；这等人，确是说实话的。
