(Charity is) for those in need, who, in Allah's cause are restricted (from travel), and cannot move about in the land, seeking (For trade or work): the ignorant man thinks, because of their modesty, that they are free from want. Thou shalt know them by their (Unfailing) mark: They beg not importunately from all the sundry. And whatever of good ye give, be assured Allah knoweth it well.

Between them shall be a veil, and on the heights will be men who would know every one by his marks: they will call out to the Companions of the Garden, "peace on you": they will not have entered, but they will have an assurance (thereof).

The men on the heights will call to certain men whom they will know from their marks, saying: "Of what profit to you were your hoards and your arrogant ways?

Had We so wiled, We could have shown them up to thee, and thou shouldst have known them by their marks: but surely thou wilt know them by the tone of their speech! And Allah knows all that ye do.

(For) the sinners will be known by their marks: and they will be seized by their forelocks and their feet.

（施舍）应归那些贫民，他们献身於主道，不能到远方去谋生；不明他们的真相的人，以为他们是富足的，因为他们不肯向人乞讨。你从他们的仪表可以认识他们，他们不会呶呶不休地向人乞讨。你们所施舍的任何美物，确是真主所知道的。

他们中间将有一个屏障。在那个（屏障）的高处将有许多男人，他们借双方的仪表而认识双方的人，他们喊叫乐园的居民说：“祝你们平安！”他们羡慕乐园，但不得进去。

在高处的人，借仪表而认识许多男人，他们将喊叫那些男人说：“你们的囤积和骄傲，对于你们毫无裨益。”

假若我意欲，我必定使你知道他们，你必定借他们的仪表而认识他们，你必定从他们口气而认识他们。真主知道你们的善功。

犯罪者将因他们的形迹而被认识，他们的额发将被系在脚掌上。
