O mankind! do your duty to your Lord, and fear (the coming of) a Day when no father can avail aught for his son, nor a son avail aught for his father. Verily, the promise of Allah is true: let not then this present life deceive you, nor let the chief Deceiver deceive you about Allah.

O men! Certainly the promise of Allah is true. Let not then this present life deceive you, nor let the Chief Deceiver deceive you about Allah.

(Those without) will call out, "Were we not with you?" (The others) will reply, "True! but ye led yourselves into temptation; ye looked forward (to our ruin); ye doubted (Allah's Promise); and (your false) desires deceived you; until there issued the Command of Allah. And the Deceiver deceived you in respect of Allah.

人们啊！你们应当敬畏你们的主，你们应当畏惧那一日，父亲对于儿子毫无裨益，儿子对于父亲也毫无裨益。真主的应许，确是真实的。绝不要让今世的生活欺骗你们，绝不要让猾贼以真主的容忍欺骗你们。

人们啊！真主的应许，确是真实的，所以绝不要让今世的生活欺骗你们，绝不要让猾贼以真主的优容欺骗你们。

他们将喊叫信道的人们说：“难道我们与你们不是同道吗？”他们说：“不然，你们自欺、观望、怀疑正道，种种妄想，欺骗你们，直到真主的命令来临，猾贼曾以真主的优容欺骗你们。
