If thou couldst but see when they are confronted with their Lord! He will say: "Is not this the truth?" They will say: "Yea, by our Lord!" He will say: "Taste ye then the penalty, because ye rejected Faith."

Thus did We try some of them by comparison with others, that they should say: "Is it these then that Allah hath favoured from amongst us?" Doth not Allah know best those who are grateful?

And his people came rushing towards him, and they had been long in the habit of practising abominations. He said: "O my people! Here are my daughters: they are purer for you (if ye marry)! Now fear Allah, and cover me not with shame about my guests! Is there not among you a single right-minded man?"

(The Messengers) said: "O Lut! We are Messengers from thy Lord! By no means shall they reach thee! now travel with thy family while yet a part of the night remains, and let not any of you look back: but thy wife (will remain behind): To her will happen what happens to the people. Morning is their time appointed: Is not the morning nigh?"

And who does more wrong than he who invents a lie against Allah or rejects the Truth when it reaches him? Is there not a home in Hell for those who reject Faith?

Who, then, doth more wrong than one who utters a lie concerning Allah, and rejects the Truth when it comes to him; is there not in Hell an abode for blasphemers?

Is not Allah enough for his Servant? But they try to frighten thee with other (gods) besides Him! for such as Allah leaves to stray, there can be no guide.

And such as Allah doth guide there can be none to lead astray. Is not Allah Exalted in Power, (Able to enforce His Will), Lord of Retribution?

On the Day of Judgment wilt thou see those who told lies against Allah;- their faces will be turned black; Is there not in Hell an abode for the Haughty?

And Pharaoh proclaimed among his people, saying: "O my people! Does not the dominion of Egypt belong to me, (witness) these streams flowing underneath my (palace)? What! see ye not then?

And on the Day that the Unbelievers will be placed before the Fire, (they will be asked,) "Is this not the Truth?" they will say, "Yea, by our Lord!" (One will say:) "Then taste ye the Penalty, for that ye were wont to deny (Truth)!"

Has not He, (the same), the power to give life to the dead?

Is not Allah the wisest of judges?

当他们奉命站在他们的主那里的时候，假若你看见他们的情状……。真主将说：“难道这不是真实的吗？”他们将说：“不然，以我们的主发誓！”他将说：“你们尝试刑罚吧，因为你们从前不信它。”

我这样使他们互相考验，以便他们说：“难道这等人就是我们中特受真主恩宠的人吗？”难道真主不是最了解感谢者的吗？

他的宗族仓猝地到他的家里来，他们向来是作恶的。他说：“我的宗族啊！这些是我的女儿，她们对于你们是更纯洁的。你们应当敬畏真主，你们对于我的客人们不要使我丢脸。难道你们当中没有一个精神健全的人吗？”

他们说：“鲁特啊！我们确是你的主的使者，他们绝不能伤及你。你应当带著你的家属在五更出行--你们中的任何人都不要回头看--但你的妻子除外，她将与他们同遭毁灭。他们约定的时间是早晨，难道早晨不是临近的吗？”

假借真主的名义而造谣，或否认已降临的真理者，谁比他还不义呢？难道火狱里没有孤恩者的住处吗？

假借真主的名义而造谣，并且否认已降临的实言者，有谁比他还不义呢？难道火狱里没有不信道者的住处吗？

难道真主不能使他的仆人满足吗？他们以真主之外的神灵恫吓你，真主使谁迷误，谁就没有向导；

真主引导谁，谁也不能使他迷误的。难道真主不是万能的、惩恶的主吗？

复活日，你将看到诬蔑真主的人面色变黑。难道火狱里没有自大者的住处吗？

法老曾喊叫他的百姓说：“我的百姓啊！密斯尔（埃及）的国权，和在我脚下奔流的江河，不都是我的吗？难道你们看不见？

不信道的人们遭受火刑之日，或者将对他们说：“难道这刑罚不是真实的吗？”他们将说：“是真实的，以我们的主盟誓！”他将说：“你们尝试刑罚吧！因为你们没有信道。”

难道那样的造化者不能使死人复活吗？

难道真主不是最公正的判决者吗？
