O ye who believe! When ye deal with each other, in transactions involving future obligations in a fixed period of time, reduce them to writing Let a scribe write down faithfully as between the parties: let not the scribe refuse to write: as Allah Has taught him, so let him write. Let him who incurs the liability dictate, but let him fear His Lord Allah, and not diminish aught of what he owes. If they party liable is mentally deficient, or weak, or unable Himself to dictate, Let his guardian dictate faithfully, and get two witnesses, out of your own men, and if there are not two men, then a man and two women, such as ye choose, for witnesses, so that if one of them errs, the other can remind her. The witnesses should not refuse when they are called on (For evidence). Disdain not to reduce to writing (your contract) for a future period, whether it be small or big: it is juster in the sight of Allah, More suitable as evidence, and more convenient to prevent doubts among yourselves but if it be a transaction which ye carry out on the spot among yourselves, there is no blame on you if ye reduce it not to writing. But take witness whenever ye make a commercial contract; and let neither scribe nor witness suffer harm. If ye do (such harm), it would be wickedness in you. So fear Allah; For it is Good that teaches you. And Allah is well acquainted with all things. If ye are on a journey, and cannot find a scribe, a pledge with possession (may serve the purpose). And if one of you deposits a thing on trust with another, let the trustee (faithfully) discharge his trust, and let him Fear his Lord conceal not evidence; for whoever conceals it, - his heart is tainted with sin. And Allah knoweth all that ye do.

There did Zakariya pray to his Lord, saying: "O my Lord! Grant unto me from Thee a progeny that is pure: for Thou art He that heareth prayer!

And Noah called upon his Lord, and said: "O my Lord! surely my son is of my family! and Thy promise is true, and Thou art the justest of Judges!"

"O my two companions of the prison! As to one of you, he will pour out the wine for his lord to drink: as for the other, he will hang from the cross, and the birds will eat from off his head. (so) hath been decreed that matter whereof ye twain do enquire"...

Behold! he cried to his Lord in secret,

Verily he who comes to his Lord as a sinner (at Judgment),- for him is Hell: therein shall he neither die nor live.

In the result, they both ate of the tree, and so their nakedness appeared to them: they began to sew together, for their covering, leaves from the Garden: thus did Adam disobey his Lord, and allow himself to be seduced.

And (remember) Job, when He cried to his Lord, "Truly distress has seized me, but Thou art the Most Merciful of those that are merciful."

And (remember) Zakariya, when he cried to his Lord: "O my Lord! leave me not without offspring, though thou art the best of inheritors."

Behold! he approached his Lord with a sound heart.

(David) said: "He has undoubtedly wronged thee in demanding thy (single) ewe to be added to his (flock of) ewes: truly many are the partners (in business) who wrong each other: Not so do those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and how few are they?"...and David gathered that We had tried him: he asked forgiveness of his Lord, fell down, bowing (in prostration), and turned (to Allah in repentance).

Commemorate Our Servant Job. Behold he cried to his Lord: "The Evil One has afflicted me with distress and suffering!"

When some trouble toucheth man, he crieth unto his Lord, turning to Him in repentance: but when He bestoweth a favour upon him as from Himself, (man) doth forget what he cried and prayed for before, and he doth set up rivals unto Allah, thus misleading others from Allah's Path. Say, "Enjoy thy blasphemy for a little while: verily thou art (one) of the Companions of the Fire!"

Said Pharaoh: "Leave me to slay Moses; and let him call on his Lord! What I fear is lest he should change your religion, or lest he should cause mischief to appear in the land!"

(But they were aggressive:) then he cried to his Lord: "These are indeed a people given to sin."

Then he called on his Lord: "I am one overcome: do Thou then help (me)!"

Nay, nay! for his Lord was (ever) watchful of him!

Their reward is with Allah: Gardens of Eternity, beneath which rivers flow; they will dwell therein for ever; Allah well pleased with them, and they with Him: all this for such as fear their Lord and Cherisher.

信道的人们啊！你们彼此间成立定期借贷的时候，你们应当写一张借券，请一个会写字的人，秉公代写。代书人不得拒绝，当遵照真主所教他的方法而书写。由债务者口授，（他口授时），当敬畏真主──他的主──不要减少债额一丝毫。如果债务者是愚蠢的，或老弱的，或不能亲自口授的，那末，叫他的监护人秉公地替他口授。你们当从你们的男人中邀请两个人作证；如果没有两个男人，那末，从你们所认可的证人中请一个男人和两个女人作证。这个女人遗忘的时候，那个女人可以提醒她。证人被邀请的时候，不得拒绝。无论债额多寡，不可厌烦，都要写在借券上，并写明偿还的日期。在真主看来，这是最公平的，最易作证的，最可祛疑的。但你们彼此间的现款交易，虽不写买卖契约，对於你们是毫无罪过的。你们成立商业契约的时候，宜请证人，对代书者和作证者，不得加以妨害；否则，就是你们犯罪。你们应当敬畏真主，真主教诲你们，真主是全知万物的。

如果你们在旅行中（借贷），而且没有代书的人，那末，可交出抵押品；如果你们中有一人信托另一人，那末，受信托的人，当交出他所受的信托物，当敬畏真主──他的主。你们不要隐讳见证，谁隐讳见证，谁的心确是有罪的。真主是全知你们的行为的。

在那里，宰凯里雅就祈祷他的主说：“我的主啊！求你从你那里赏赐我一个善良的子嗣。你确是听取祈祷的。”

努哈祈祷他的主说：“我的主啊！我的儿子是我的亲人，你的诺言是真实的，你是最公正的判决者。”

同监的两位朋友啊！你们俩中有一个要替他的主人斟酒，有一个要被钉死在十字架上，而众鸟飞到他的头上来吃他。你俩所询问的事情，已被判决了。”

当时，他低声地呼吁他的主说：

犯罪而来见主者，必入火狱，在火狱里，不死也不活。

他俩就吃了那棵树的果实，他俩的阴部就对他俩显露了， 他俩就以园里的树叶遮蔽身体。阿丹违背了他们的主，因而迷误了。

（你应当叙述）艾优卜， 当时他曾呼吁他的主（说）：”痼疾确已伤害我，你是最仁慈的。”

（你应当叙述）宰凯里雅，当时他曾呼吁他的主（说）：”我的主啊！求你不要任随我孤独，你是最好的继承者。”

当时，他带着健全的心灵，来见他的主。

达五德说：“他确已欺负你了，因为他要求你把你的母绵羊归并他的母绵羊。有许多伙计，的确相欺，惟信道而行善者则不然，但他们是很少的。”达五德以为我考验他，他就向他的主求饶，且拜倒下去，并归依他。（此处叩头！）※

你应当记忆我的仆人安优卜。当时，他祈祷他的主说：“恶魔已使我遭受辛苦和刑罚。”

遭遇患难的时候，祈祷他的主，而归依他。然后，他赏赐他一种恩惠的时候，他就忘却以前曾祈求真主解除患难，而且为他树立若干匹敌，以致别人迷失真主的大道。你说：“你暂时享受你的不信吧！你必定是居住火狱的。

法老说：“你们让我杀死穆萨！叫他祈祷他的主去吧！我的确怕他改变你们的宗教，或在国内作乱。”

他就祈祷他的主说：“这等人，确是犯罪的民众。”

故他祈祷他的主说：“我确是被压迫的，求你相助吧！”

不然，他的主，原是鉴察他的。

他们在他们的主那里的报酬是下临诸河的常住的乐园，他们将永居其中，真主喜悦他们，他们也喜悦他；这是畏惧真主者所有的。
