(Namely), those who say: "Our Lord! we have indeed believed: forgive us, then, our sins, and save us from the agony of the Fire;"-

"Our Lord! we have heard the call of one calling (Us) to Faith, 'Believe ye in the Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins, blot out from us our iniquities, and take to Thyself our souls in the company of the righteous.

And Moses chose seventy of his people for Our place of meeting: when they were seized with violent quaking, he prayed: "O my Lord! if it had been Thy will Thou couldst have destroyed, long before, both them and me: wouldst Thou destroy us for the deeds of the foolish ones among us? this is no more than Thy trial: by it Thou causest whom Thou wilt to stray, and Thou leadest whom Thou wilt into the right path. Thou art our Protector: so forgive us and give us Thy mercy; for Thou art the best of those who forgive.

"A part of My servants there was, who used to pray 'our Lord! we believe; then do Thou forgive us, and have mercy upon us: For Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!"

He prayed: "O my Lord! I have indeed wronged my soul! Do Thou then forgive me!" So (Allah) forgave him: for He is the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Those who sustain the Throne (of Allah) and those around it Sing Glory and Praise to their Lord; believe in Him; and implore Forgiveness for those who believe: "Our Lord! Thy Reach is over all things, in Mercy and Knowledge. Forgive, then, those who turn in Repentance, and follow Thy Path; and preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire!

他们说：“我们的主啊！我们确已信道了，求你赦宥我们的罪过，求你使我们得免于火狱的刑罚。”

我们的主啊！我们确已听见了一个召唤的人，召人于正信，（他说）：'你们当确信你们的主。'我们就确信了。我们的主啊！求你赦宥我们的罪恶，求你消除我们的过失，求你使我们与义人们死在一处。

穆萨从他的宗族中拣选了七十个人来赴我的约会；当他们为地震所袭击的时候，他说：“我的主啊！假若你意欲，那末，以前你早已毁灭他们和我。难道你要为我们中的愚人的行为而毁灭我们吗？这只是你的考验，你借此使你意欲者误入歧途，使你意欲者走上正道。你是我们的保护者，故求你饶恕我们，慈悯我们。你是最善的饶恕者。

从前，我的仆人中有一派人常说：“我们的主啊！我们已信道了，求你饶恕我们，求你怜悯我们，你是最怜悯的。”

他说：“我的主啊！我确已自欺了，求你饶恕我吧。”真主就饶恕了他，他确是至赦的，确是至慈的。

支持宝座的和环绕宝座的，都赞颂他们的主，都归信他，都为信道者求饶，他们说：“我们的主啊！在恩惠方面和知觉方面，你是包罗万物的，求你赦宥悔过自新、而且遵循你的正道者。求你保护他们，免受火狱的刑罚。
