Their similitude is that of a man who kindled a fire; when it lighted all around him, Allah took away their light and left them in utter darkness. So they could not see.

Glory to (Allah) Who did take His servant for a Journey by night from the Sacred Mosque to the farthest Mosque, whose precincts We did bless,- in order that We might show him some of Our Signs: for He is the One Who heareth and seeth (all things).

(Pharaoh) said to those around: "Did ye not listen (to what he says)?"

(Pharaoh) said to the Chiefs around him: "This is indeed a sorcerer well-versed:

Those who sustain the Throne (of Allah) and those around it Sing Glory and Praise to their Lord; believe in Him; and implore Forgiveness for those who believe: "Our Lord! Thy Reach is over all things, in Mercy and Knowledge. Forgive, then, those who turn in Repentance, and follow Thy Path; and preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire!

他们譬如燃火的人，当火光照亮了他们的四周的时候，真主把他们的火光拿去，让他们在重重的黑暗中，甚麽也看不见。

赞美真主，超绝万物，他在一夜之间，使他的仆人，从禁寺行到远寺。我在远寺的四周降福，以便我昭示他我的一部分迹象。真主确是全聪的，确是全明的。

法老对他左右的人说：“你们怎么不倾听呢？”

法老对他左右的贵族们说：“这确是一个高明的术士，

支持宝座的和环绕宝座的，都赞颂他们的主，都归信他，都为信道者求饶，他们说：“我们的主啊！在恩惠方面和知觉方面，你是包罗万物的，求你赦宥悔过自新、而且遵循你的正道者。求你保护他们，免受火狱的刑罚。
