They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks;-

But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, an seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

他们希望你们象他们那样不信道，而你们与他们同为一党。故你们不可以他们为盟友，直到他们为主道而迁移。如果他们违背正道，那末，你们在那里发现他们，就在那里捕杀他们；你们不要以他们为盟友，也不要以他们为援助者，

当禁月逝去的时候，你们在哪里发现以物配主者，就在那里杀戮他们，俘虏他们，围攻他们，在各个要隘侦候他们。如果他们悔过自新，谨守拜功，完纳天课，你们就放走他们。真主确是至赦的，确是至慈的。
