And if ye are in doubt as to what We have revealed from time to time to Our servant, then produce a Sura like thereunto; and call your witnesses or helpers (If there are any) besides Allah, if your (doubts) are true.

Or do they say, "He forged it"? say: "Bring then a Sura like unto it, and call (to your aid) anyone you can besides Allah, if it be ye speak the truth!"

Or they may say, "He forged it," Say, "Bring ye then ten suras forged, like unto it, and call (to your aid) whomsoever ye can, other than Allah!- If ye speak the truth!

"But we can surely produce magic to match thine! So make a tryst between us and thee, which we shall not fail to keep - neither we nor thou - in a place where both shall have even chances."

And We have created for them similar (vessels) on which they ride.

Say: "See ye? If (this teaching) be from Allah, and ye reject it, and a witness from among the Children of Israel testifies to its similarity (with earlier scripture), and has believed while ye are arrogant, (how unjust ye are!) truly, Allah guides not a people unjust."

Let them then produce a recital like unto it,- If (it be) they speak the truth!

如果你们怀疑我所降示给我的仆人的经典，那末，你们试拟作一章，并舍真主而祈祷你们的见证，如果你们是诚实的。

难道他们说他伪造经典吗？你说：“你们就试拟作一章吧！”如果你们是诚实的，你们就应当舍真主而吁请你们所能吁请的人。

难道他们说他捏造经典吗？你说：“你们试拟作十章吧。你们应当舍真主而祈祷你们所能祈祷的，倘若你们是诚实的人。”

我们必定在你面前表演同样的魔术。你在一个互相商量的地方， 在我们和你之间，订一个约期，我们和你大家都不爽约。”

我为他们而创造象船舶那样可供骑乘的东西。

你说：“你们告诉我吧！如果《古兰经》是从真主那里降示的，而你们不信它--以色列后裔中的一个见证者，已作证其相似而信奉之，你们却不屑信奉--那末，谁比你们更迷误呢？真主必定不引导不义的民众。”

叫他们作出象这样的文辞来，如果他们是说实话的！
