Say: "If the last Home, with Allah, be for you specially, and not for anyone else, then seek ye for death, if ye are sincere."
Ye did indeed wish for death before ye met him: Now ye have seen him with your own eyes, (And ye flinch!)
(They are) the ones that say, (of their brethren slain), while they themselves sit (at ease): "If only they had listened to us they would not have been slain." Say: "Avert death from your own selves, if ye speak the truth."
Then, when We decreed (Solomon's) death, nothing showed them his death except a little worm of the earth, which kept (slowly) gnawing away at his staff: so when he fell down, the Jinns saw plainly that if they had known the unseen, they would not have tarried in the humiliating Penalty (of their Task).
It is Allah that takes the souls (of men) at death; and those that die not (He takes) during their sleep: those on whom He has passed the decree of death, He keeps back (from returning to life), but the rest He sends (to their bodies) for a term appointed verily in this are Signs for those who reflect.
Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,-
We have decreed Death to be your common lot, and We are not to be frustrated
Say: "O ye that stand on Judaism! If ye think that ye are friends to Allah, to the exclusion of (other) men, then express your desire for Death, if ye are truthful!"
Say: "The Death from which ye flee will truly overtake you: then will ye be sent back to the Knower of things secret and open: and He will tell you (the truth of) the things that ye did!"
He Who created Death and Life, that He may try which of you is best in deed: and He is the Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving;-
你说:“如果在真主那里的後世的安宅,是你们私有的,他人不得共享,那末,你们若是诚实的,你们就希望早死吧!”
遭遇死亡之前,你们确已希望死亡;现在你们确已亲眼见到死亡了。
他们不肯参加战斗,却对自己的教胞说:“假若他们顺从我们,他们不会阵亡。”你说:“你们为自身抵御死亡吧,如果你们是诚实的。”
我决定他死亡的时候,只有持他的手杖的柱虫,指示他们他已经死了。当他倒下的时候,精灵们恍然大悟:假若他们能知幽玄,那末,他们未曾逗留在凌辱的刑罚中。
人们到了死亡的时候,真主将他们的灵魂取去;尚未到死期的人们,当他们睡眠的时候,真主也将他们的灵魂取去。他已判决其死亡者,他扣留他们的灵魂;他未判决其死亡者,便将他们的灵魂放回,至一定期。对于能思维的民众,此中确有许多迹象。
他们在乐园中,除初次死亡外不再尝死的滋味。真主将使他们得免于火狱的刑罚。
我曾将死亡分配给你们,任何人不能阻挠我,
你说:“信奉犹太教的人们啊!如果你们自称是真主的选民,而排斥众人,那你们就希望早死吧,如果你们是诚实者。”
你说:“你们所逃避的死亡,必定与你们会面,然後你们将被送到全知幽明的主那里,他将把你们的行为告诉你们。”
他曾创造了死生,以便他考验你们谁的作为是最优美的。他是万能的,是至赦的。
