And He
(is) the Subjugator
over
His slaves,
and He sends
over you
guardians
until
when
comes
(to) any one of you
the death
take him
Our messengers,
and they
(do) not
fail.
And glorifies
the thunder
with His praise
and the Angels
for
fear of Him.
And He sends
the thunderbolts
and strikes
with it
whom
He wills,
yet they
dispute
about
Allah.
And He
(is) Mighty
(in) Strength.
Allah
takes
the souls
(at the) time
(of) their death,
and the one who
(does) not
die
in
their sleep.
The He keeps
the one whom,
He has decreed
for them
the death,
and sends
the others
for
a term
specified.
Indeed,
in
that
surely (are) signs
for a people
who ponder.
He is the irresistible, (watching) from above over His worshippers, and He sets guardians over you. At length, when death approaches one of you, Our angels take his soul, and they never fail in their duty.
Nay, thunder repeateth His praises, and so do the angels, with awe: He flingeth the loud-voiced thunder-bolts, and therewith He striketh whomsoever He will..yet these (are the men) who (dare to) dispute about Allah, with the strength of His power (supreme)!
It is Allah that takes the souls (of men) at death; and those that die not (He takes) during their sleep: those on whom He has passed the decree of death, He keeps back (from returning to life), but the rest He sends (to their bodies) for a term appointed verily in this are Signs for those who reflect.
他是宰制众仆的，他派遣许多天神来保护你们。待死亡降临你们中的任何人的时候，我的众天使，将使他死亡，他们毫不疏忽。
雷霆在赞颂真主超绝万物，众天神因为畏惧他而赞颂他。他发出霹雳以击杀他所意欲者。他们为主而争论，而他是有强大谋略的。
人们到了死亡的时候，真主将他们的灵魂取去；尚未到死期的人们，当他们睡眠的时候，真主也将他们的灵魂取去。他已判决其死亡者，他扣留他们的灵魂；他未判决其死亡者，便将他们的灵魂放回，至一定期。对于能思维的民众，此中确有许多迹象。
