Why
(do) you argue
concerning
Ibrahim
while not
was revealed
the Taurat
and the Injeel
except
after him?
Then why don't
you use your intellect?
All
[the] food
was
lawful
for the Children of Israel
except
what
Israel made unlawful
upon
himself
[from]
before
[that]
(was) revealed
the Taurat.
Say,
`So bring
the Taurat
and recite it
if
you are
truthful.`
But how can
they appoint you a judge
while they (have) with them
the Taurat,
wherein
(is) the Command
(of) Allah?
Then
they turn away
after
that,
and not
those
(are) the believers.
Ye People of the Book! Why dispute ye about Abraham, when the Law and the Gospel Were not revealed Till after him? Have ye no understanding?
All food was lawful to the Children of Israel, except what Israel Made unlawful for itself, before the Law (of Moses) was revealed. Say: "Bring ye the Law and study it, if ye be men of truth."
But why do they come to thee for decision, when they have (their own) law before them?- therein is the (plain) command of Allah; yet even after that, they would turn away. For they are not (really) People of Faith.
信奉天经的人啊！你们为什么和我们辩论易卜拉欣（的宗教）呢？《讨拉特》和《引支勒》是在他弃世之后才降示的。难道你们不了解吗？
一切食物对于以色列的后裔，原是合法的。除非在降示《讨拉特》之前易司拉仪（的后裔）自己所戒除的食物。你说：“你们拿《讨拉特》来当面诵读吧，如果你们是诚实的。”
他们有《讨拉特》，其中有真主的律例，怎么还要请你判决，而后又违背你的判决呢﹖这等人，绝不是信士。
