Do they not reflect? Their companion is not seized with madness: he is but a perspicuous warner.

Say: "I have no power over any good or harm to myself except as Allah willeth. If I had knowledge of the unseen, I should have multiplied all good, and no evil should have touched me: I am but a warner, and a bringer of glad tidings to those who have faith."

Verily those whom ye call upon besides Allah are servants like unto you: Call upon them, and let them listen to your prayer, if ye are (indeed) truthful!

They ask thee concerning (things taken as) spoils of war. Say: "(such) spoils are at the disposal of Allah and the Messenger: So fear Allah, and keep straight the relations between yourselves: Obey Allah and His Messenger, if ye do believe."

(O Unbelievers!) if ye prayed for victory and judgment, now hath the judgment come to you: if ye desist (from wrong), it will be best for you: if ye return (to the attack), so shall We. Not the least good will your forces be to you even if they were multiplied: for verily Allah is with those who believe!

O ye who believe! if ye fear Allah, He will grant you a criterion (to judge between right and wrong), remove from you (all) evil (that may afflict) you, and forgive you: for Allah is the Lord of grace unbounded.

When Our Signs are rehearsed to them, they say: "We have heard this (before): if we wished, we could say (words) like these: these are nothing but tales of the ancients."

Remember how they said: "O Allah if this is indeed the Truth from Thee, rain down on us a shower of stones form the sky, or send us a grievous penalty."

But what plea have they that Allah should not punish them, when they keep out (men) from the sacred Mosque - and they are not its guardians? No men can be its guardians except the righteous; but most of them do not understand.

Say to the Unbelievers, if (now) they desist (from Unbelief), their past would be forgiven them; but if they persist, the punishment of those before them is already (a matter of warning for them).

And know that out of all the booty that ye may acquire (in war), a fifth share is assigned to Allah,- and to the Messenger, and to near relatives, orphans, the needy, and the wayfarer,- if ye do believe in Allah and in the revelation We sent down to Our servant on the Day of Testing,- the Day of the meeting of the two forces. For Allah hath power over all things.

O Prophet! rouse the Believers to the fight. If there are twenty amongst you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred: if a hundred, they will vanquish a thousand of the Unbelievers: for these are a people without understanding.

O Prophet! say to those who are captives in your hands: "If Allah findeth any good in your hearts, He will give you something better than what has been taken from you, and He will forgive you: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful."

Will ye not fight people who violated their oaths, plotted to expel the Messenger, and took the aggressive by being the first (to assault) you? Do ye fear them? Nay, it is Allah Whom ye should more justly fear, if ye believe!

Say: If it be that your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your mates, or your kindred; the wealth that ye have gained; the commerce in which ye fear a decline: or the dwellings in which ye delight - are dearer to you than Allah, or His Messenger, or the striving in His cause;- then wait until Allah brings about His decision: and Allah guides not the rebellious.

O ye who believe! Truly the Pagans are unclean; so let them not, after this year of theirs, approach the Sacred Mosque. And if ye fear poverty, soon will Allah enrich you, if He wills, out of His bounty, for Allah is All-knowing, All-wise.

Go ye forth, (whether equipped) lightly or heavily, and strive and struggle, with your goods and your persons, in the cause of Allah. That is best for you, if ye (but) knew.

If good befalls thee, it grieves them; but if a misfortune befalls thee, they say, "We took indeed our precautions beforehand," and they turn away rejoicing.

To you they swear by Allah. In order to please you: But it is more fitting that they should please Allah and His Messenger, if they are Believers.

Make ye no excuses: ye have rejected Faith after ye had accepted it. If We pardon some of you, We will punish others amongst you, for that they are in sin.

Whether thou ask for their forgiveness, or not, (their sin is unforgivable): if thou ask seventy times for their forgiveness, Allah will not forgive them: because they have rejected Allah and His Messenger: and Allah guideth not those who are perversely rebellious.

And there are those who put up a mosque by way of mischief and infidelity - to disunite the Believers - and in preparation for one who warred against Allah and His Messenger aforetime. They will indeed swear that their intention is nothing but good; But Allah doth declare that they are certainly liars.

But when Our Clear Signs are rehearsed unto them, those who rest not their hope on their meeting with Us, Say: "Bring us a reading other than this, or change this," Say: "It is not for me, of my own accord, to change it: I follow naught but what is revealed unto me: if I were to disobey my Lord, I should myself fear the penalty of a Great Day (to come)."

But when Our Clear Signs are rehearsed unto them, those who rest not their hope on their meeting with Us, Say: "Bring us a reading other than this, or change this," Say: "It is not for me, of my own accord, to change it: I follow naught but what is revealed unto me: if I were to disobey my Lord, I should myself fear the penalty of a Great Day (to come)."

"Enough is Allah for a witness between us and you: we certainly knew nothing of your worship of us!"

Or do they say, "He forged it"? say: "Bring then a Sura like unto it, and call (to your aid) anyone you can besides Allah, if it be ye speak the truth!"

They say: "When will this promise come to pass,- if ye speak the truth?"

Say: "Do ye see,- if His punishment should come to you by night or by day,- what portion of it would the sinners wish to hasten?

Behold! verily to Allah belong all creatures, in the heavens and on earth. What do they follow who worship as His "partners" other than Allah? They follow nothing but fancy, and they do nothing but lie.

They say: "Allah hath begotten a son!" - Glory be to Him! He is self-sufficient! His are all things in the heavens and on earth! No warrant have ye for this! say ye about Allah what ye know not?

难道他们没有思维吗？他们的同伴绝没有疯病，他只是一个坦率的警告者。

你说：“除真主所意欲的外，我不能掌握自己的祸福。假若我能知幽玄，我必多谋福利，不遭灾殃了。我只是一个警告者和对信道的民众的报喜者。”

你们舍真主而祈祷的，确是跟你们一样的奴仆。你们祈祷他们吧，请他们答应你们的祈求吧，如果你们是诚实的人。

他们问你战利品（应该归谁），你说：“战利品应该归真主和使者，你们应该敬畏真主，应该调停你们的纷争，应当服从真主及其使者，如果你们是信士。”

如果你们祈祷胜利，那末，胜利已降临你们了；如果你们停战，那对于你们是更好的。如果你们卷土重来，我就再次援助信土们，你们的部队虽多，对于你们却无裨益，真主确实是和信士们在一起的。

信道的人们啊！如果你们敬畏真主，他将以鉴识赏赐你们，并原谅你们的罪行，饶恕你们。真主是有鸿恩的。

当别人对他们宣读我的迹象的时候，他们说：“我们确已听见过了，假若我们意欲，我们必说出与此相似的文词来；这只是古人的（神话）。”

当时，他们说：“真主啊！如果这就是从你降示的真理，那末，求你从天上降下雨点般的石头来毁灭我们，或以痛苦的刑罚来惩治我们吧！”

他们阻止别人入禁寺的时候，真主怎能不惩治他们呢？他们不是禁寺的保护者，禁寺的保护者只能是敬畏的人，但他们大半不知道。

你告诉不信道的人们：如果他们停止战争，那末，他们以往的罪恶将蒙赦宥；如果他们执迷不悟，那末，古人的常道已逝去了。

你们应当知道：你们所获得的战利品，无论是什么，都应当以五分之一归真主、使者、至亲、孤儿、赤贫、旅客，如果你们确信真主和两军交锋而真伪判分之日，我所启示我的仆人的迹象。真主对于万事确是全能的。

先知啊！你应当鼓励信士们奋勇抗战，如果你们中有二十个坚忍的人，就能战胜二百个敌人；如果你们中有一百个人，就能战胜一千个不信道的人；因为不信道者是不精明的民众。

先知啊！你对你们手中的俘虏们说：“如果真主知道你们心中有善意，那末，他要把比你们所纳的赎金更好的东西赏赐你们，而且要饶恕你们。真主是至赦的，至慈的。”

有一族人已经违反盟约，要想驱逐先知，而且首先进攻你们。你们怎么还不讨伐他们呢？难道你们畏惧他们吗？真主是你们更应当畏惧的，如果你们确是信士。

你说：“如果你们以为自己的父亲、儿子、兄弟、妻子、亲戚，以及你们得来的财产，生怕滞销的生意，和心爱的住宅，比真主及其使者和为真主而奋斗更为可爱，那你们就等待著，直到真主执行他的命令吧。真主是不引导放肆的民众的。”

信道的人们啊！以物配主者只是污秽，故从今年起不准他们临近禁寺；如果你们畏惧贫困，那末，真主将以他的恩惠使你们满足，如果他意欲。真主确是全知的，确是至睿的。

你们当轻装地，或重装地出征，你们当借你们的财产和生命为真主而奋斗。这对于你们是更好的，如果你们知道。

如果你获得胜利，他们就觉得难过；如果你遭到失败，他们就说：“我们事先早已提防了。”他们洋洋得意地转回去。

他们以真主对你们盟誓，以便你们喜悦，如果他们真是信士，更应该使真主及其使者喜悦。

你们不要托辞；你们信道之后确已不信了，如果我饶恕你们中的一伙人，我将要惩治你们中的另一伙人，因为他们是犯罪的人。

你可以替他们求饶，也可以不替他们求饶。即使你替他们求饶七十次，真主也不会饶恕他们。因为他们不信真主及其使者。真主是不引导放肆的民众的。

还有一些人，修建了一座清真寺，其目的是妨害和睦，加强不信，分离信士，并作为以前违抗真主及其使者的人的埋伏所，他们必定发誓说：“我们的宗旨是至善的。”真主作证：他们确是撒谎的。

有人对他们宣读我的明显的迹象的时候，那些不希望会见我的人说：“请你另拿一部《古兰经》来，或者请你修改这部《古兰经》。”你说：“我不至于擅自修改它。我只能遵从我所受的启示。如果我违抗我的主，我的确畏惧重大日的刑罚。”

有人对他们宣读我的明显的迹象的时候，那些不希望会见我的人说：“请你另拿一部《古兰经》来，或者请你修改这部《古兰经》。”你说：“我不至于擅自修改它。我只能遵从我所受的启示。如果我违抗我的主，我的确畏惧重大日的刑罚。”

真主足为我们和你们之间的见证，我们的确忽视你们的崇拜。”

难道他们说他伪造经典吗？你说：“你们就试拟作一章吧！”如果你们是诚实的，你们就应当舍真主而吁请你们所能吁请的人。

他们说：“这个警告什么时候实现呢？如果你们是诚实的人。”

你说：“你们告诉我吧！如果他的刑罚，在黑夜或白昼来临你们，那末，犯罪的人们要求早日实现的是什么刑罚呢？

真的，天地间的一切，确是真主的，舍真主而祈祷许多配主的人，究竟凭什么呢？他们只凭臆测，他们尽说谎话。

他们说：“真主以人为子。”光荣归于真主！他是无求的。天地万物都是他的。你们对此事并无明证，难道你们可以假借真主的名义而妄说出自己所不知道的事情吗？
