O ye who believe! give your response to Allah and His Messenger, when He calleth you to that which will give you life; and know that Allah cometh in between a man and his heart, and that it is He to Whom ye shall (all) be gathered.

And know that out of all the booty that ye may acquire (in war), a fifth share is assigned to Allah,- and to the Messenger, and to near relatives, orphans, the needy, and the wayfarer,- if ye do believe in Allah and in the revelation We sent down to Our servant on the Day of Testing,- the Day of the meeting of the two forces. For Allah hath power over all things.

What Allah has bestowed on His Messenger (and taken away) from the people of the townships,- belongs to Allah,- to His Messenger and to kindred and orphans, the needy and the wayfarer; In order that it may not (merely) make a circuit between the wealthy among you. So take what the Messenger assigns to you, and deny yourselves that which he withholds from you. And fear Allah; for Allah is strict in Punishment.

信道的人们啊！当使者号召你们去遵循那使你们获得生命的（教训）的时候，你们当响应真主和使者。你们当知道真主能干涉个人的心灵，你们只被召集到他那里。

你们应当知道：你们所获得的战利品，无论是什么，都应当以五分之一归真主、使者、至亲、孤儿、赤贫、旅客，如果你们确信真主和两军交锋而真伪判分之日，我所启示我的仆人的迹象。真主对于万事确是全能的。

城市的居民的逆产，凡真主收归使者的，都归真主、使者、至亲、孤儿、贫民和旅客，以免那些逆产，成为在你们中富豪之间周转的东西。凡使者给你们的，你们都应当接受；凡使者禁止你们的，你们都应当戒除。你们应当敬畏真主，真主确是刑罚严厉的。
