How then, when they are seized by misfortune, because of the deeds which they hands have sent forth? Then their come to thee, swearing by Allah: "We meant no more than good-will and conciliation!"

And there are those who put up a mosque by way of mischief and infidelity - to disunite the Believers - and in preparation for one who warred against Allah and His Messenger aforetime. They will indeed swear that their intention is nothing but good; But Allah doth declare that they are certainly liars.

When We decide to destroy a population, We (first) send a definite order to those among them who are given the good things of this life and yet transgress; so that the word is proved true against them: then (it is) We destroy them utterly.

If it had been Our wish to take (just) a pastime, We should surely have taken it from the things nearest to Us, if We would do (such a thing)!

因为曾经犯了罪而遭遇灾难，然后， 他们会来见你而指真主发誓说：“我们只图亲善与和解。”在那时，你将怎么办呢？

还有一些人，修建了一座清真寺，其目的是妨害和睦，加强不信，分离信士，并作为以前违抗真主及其使者的人的埋伏所，他们必定发誓说：“我们的宗旨是至善的。”真主作证：他们确是撒谎的。

当我要毁灭一个市镇的时候，我命令其中过安乐生活者服从我，但他们放荡不检，所以应受刑罚的判决。于是我毁灭他们。

假若我要消遣，我必定以我这里的东西做消遣，我不是爱消遣的。
