O ye people! Eat of what is on earth, Lawful and good; and do not follow the footsteps of the evil one, for he is to you an avowed enemy.

O ye who believe! Enter into Islam whole-heartedly; and follow not the footsteps of the evil one; for he is to you an avowed enemy.

O people of the Book! There hath come to you our Messenger, revealing to you much that ye used to hide in the Book, and passing over much (that is now unnecessary): There hath come to you from Allah a (new) light and a perspicuous Book, -

Then will Allah say: "O Jesus the son of Mary! Recount My favour to thee and to thy mother. Behold! I strengthened thee with the holy spirit, so that thou didst speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. Behold! I taught thee the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel and behold! thou makest out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, by My leave, and thou breathest into it and it becometh a bird by My leave, and thou healest those born blind, and the lepers, by My leave. And behold! thou bringest forth the dead by My leave. And behold! I did restrain the Children of Israel from (violence to) thee when thou didst show them the clear Signs, and the unbelievers among them said: 'This is nothing but evident magic.'

If We had sent unto thee a written (message) on parchment, so that they could touch it with their hands, the Unbelievers would have been sure to say: "This is nothing but obvious magic!"

Of the cattle are some for burden and some for meat: eat what Allah hath provided for you, and follow not the footsteps of Satan: for he is to you and avowed enemy.

So by deceit he brought about their fall: when they tasted of the tree, their shame became manifest to them, and they began to sew together the leaves of the garden over their bodies. And their Lord called unto them: "Did I not forbid you that tree, and tell you that Satan was an avowed enemy unto you?"

Then (Moses) threw his rod, and behold! it was a serpent, plain (for all to see)!

Do they not reflect? Their companion is not seized with madness: he is but a perspicuous warner.

Is it a matter of wonderment to men that We have sent Our inspiration to a man from among themselves?- that he should warn mankind (of their danger), and give the good news to the Believers that they have before their Lord the lofty rank of truth. (But) say the Unbelievers: "This is indeed an evident sorcerer!"

When the Truth did come to them from Us, they said: "This is indeed evident sorcery!"

He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days - and His Throne was over the waters - that He might try you, which of you is best in conduct. But if thou wert to say to them, "Ye shall indeed be raised up after death", the Unbelievers would be sure to say, "This is nothing but obvious sorcery!"

We sent Noah to his people (with a mission): "I have come to you with a Clear Warning:

Said (the father): "My (dear) little son! relate not thy vision to thy brothers, lest they concoct a plot against thee: for Satan is to man an avowed enemy!

But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see).

He has created man from a sperm-drop; and behold this same (man) becomes an open disputer!

We know indeed that they say, "It is a man that teaches him." The tongue of him they wickedly point to is notably foreign, while this is Arabic, pure and clear.

Say: "O men! I am (sent) to you only to give a Clear Warning:

Why did not the believers - men and women - when ye heard of the affair,- put the best construction on it in their own minds and say, "This (charge) is an obvious lie"?

So (Moses) threw his rod, and behold, it was a serpent, plain (for all to see)!

"I am sent only to warn plainly in public."

But when Our Signs came to them, that should have opened their eyes, they said: "This is sorcery manifest!"

And he entered the city at a time when its people were not watching: and he found there two men fighting,- one of his own religion, and the other, of his foes. Now the man of his own religion appealed to him against his foe, and Moses struck him with his fist and made an end of him. He said: "This is a work of Evil (Satan): for he is an enemy that manifestly misleads!"

So he saw the morning in the city, looking about, in a state of fear, when behold, the man who had, the day before, sought his help called aloud for his help (again). Moses said to him: "Thou art truly, it is clear, a quarrelsome fellow!"

Ye they say: "Why are not Signs sent down to him from his Lord?" Say: "The signs are indeed with Allah: and I am indeed a clear Warner."

When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, they say, "This is only a man who wishes to hinder you from the (worship) which your fathers practised." And they say, "This is only a falsehood invented!" and the Unbelievers say of the Truth when it comes to them, "This is nothing but evident magic!"

"Did I not enjoin on you, O ye Children of Adam, that ye should not worship Satan; for that he was to you an enemy avowed?-

We have not instructed the (Prophet) in Poetry, nor is it meet for him: this is no less than a Message and a Qur'an making things clear:

Doth not man see that it is We Who created him from sperm? yet behold! he (stands forth) as an open adversary!

And say, "This is nothing but evident sorcery!

众人啊！你们可以吃大地上所有合法而且佳美的食物，你们不要随从恶魔的步伐，他确是你们的明敌。

信道的人们啊！你们当全体入在和平教中，不要跟随恶魔的步伐，他确是你们的明敌。

信奉天经的人啊！我的使者确已来临你们，他要为你们阐明你们所隐讳的许多经，并放弃许多经文，不加以揭发。有一道光明，和一部明确的经典，确已从真主降临你们。

那时，真主将说麦尔彦之子尔撒啊!你当记忆我所赐你和你母亲的恩典。当时，我曾以玄灵扶助你，你在摇篮里，在壮年时，对人说话。当时，我曾教你书法、智慧、《讨拉特》和《引支勒》。当时，你奉我的命令，用泥捏一只像鸟样的东西，你吹气在里面，它就奉我的命令而飞动。你曾奉我的命令而治疗天然盲和大麻疯。你又奉我的命令而使死人复活。当时，我曾阻止以色列的后裔伤害你。当时，你曾昭示他们许多迹象，他们中不信道的人说：“这只是明显的魔术。”

假若我把一部写在纸上的经典降示你，而他们用手抚摩它，那末，不信道的人必定说：“这只是明显的魔术。”

（他创造了）供载运的和供食用的牲畜。你们可以吃真主所赐你们的给养，你们不要追随恶魔的步伐，他确是你们明显的仇敌。

他用欺骗的手段使他俩堕落。当他俩尝了那棵树的果实的时候，他俩的阴部便对自己现露出来了，他俩只好用园里的树叶遮盖自己的阴部。他俩的主喊叫他俩说：“难道我没有禁止你俩吃那棵树的果实吗？难道我没有对你俩说过，恶魔确是你俩的明敌吗？”

他就抛下他的手杖，那条手杖忽然变成一条蟒。

难道他们没有思维吗？他们的同伴绝没有疯病，他只是一个坦率的警告者。

难道人们认为这是怪事吗？我曾启示他们中的一个男子：你要警告众人，你要向信士们报喜，告诉他们在他们的主那里，他们有崇高的品位。不信道者曾说：“这确是明显的术士。”

当从我这儿发出的真理降临他们的时候，他们说：“这确是明显的魔术。”

他在六日之中创造了天地万物--他的宝座原是在水上的--以便他考验你们，看你们中谁的工作是最优的。如果你说：“你们死后，是要复活的。”不信道的人们必定说：“这个只是明显的魔术。”

我确已派遣努哈去教化他的宗族说：“我对你们确是一个坦率的警告者。

他说：“我的孩子啊！你不要把你的梦告诉你的哥哥们，以免他们谋害你；恶魔确是人类公开的仇敌。”

但窃听的恶魔则有明显的流星赶上它。

他用精液创造了人，而人却突然变成了（他的）明显的对手。

我的确知道，他们说过：”这只是一个凡人所传授的。”他们所倾向的那个人的语言是化外人（的语言），而这（部经典的语言）是明白的阿拉伯语。

你说：“众人啊！我对你们只是一个直爽的警告者。”

当你们听见谣言的时候，信士和信女对自己的教胞， 为何不作善意的猜想，并且说：“这是明显的谣言”呢？

他就扔下他的手杖，那条手杖忽然变成一条蟒；

我只是一个直率的警告者。”

我的许多明显迹象降临他们的时候，他们说：“这是明显的魔术。”

乘城里的人疏忽的时候，他走进城来，并在城里发现了两个人正在争斗，这个是属于他的宗族，那个是属于他的敌人，属于同族的人要求他帮着对付他的敌人，穆萨就把那敌人一拳打死。他说：“这是由于恶魔的诱惑，恶魔确是迷人的明敌。”

次日早晨，他在城里战战兢兢的。昨日向他求救的那个人忽然又向他高声求救。穆萨对他说：“你确是明显的迷误者。”

他们说：“怎么没有一种迹象从他的主降临他呢？”你说：“迹象只在真主那里，我只是一个坦率的警告者。”

有人对他们宣读我的明白的迹象时，他们说：“这个人只想妨碍你们崇拜你们的祖先所崇拜的偶像。”他们又说：“这只是捏造的谎言。”当真理来临的时候，不信道的人们说：“这只是一种明显的魔术。”

阿丹的后裔呀！难道我没有嘱咐过你们吗？我说你们不要崇拜恶魔，他确是你们的仇敌。

我没有教他诗歌，诗歌对于他是不相宜的。这个只是教诲和明白的《古兰经》，

难道人还不知道吗？我曾用精液创造他，而他忽然变成坦白的抗辩者。

他们说：“这个只是明显的魔术。
