Then did Satan make them slip from the (garden), and get them out of the state (of felicity) in which they had been. We said: "Get ye down, all (ye people), with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling-place and your means of livelihood - for a time."

Whoever is an enemy to Allah and His angels and messengers, to Gabriel and Michael,- Lo! Allah is an enemy to those who reject Faith.

O ye people! Eat of what is on earth, Lawful and good; and do not follow the footsteps of the evil one, for he is to you an avowed enemy.

O ye who believe! Enter into Islam whole-heartedly; and follow not the footsteps of the evil one; for he is to you an avowed enemy.

Of the cattle are some for burden and some for meat: eat what Allah hath provided for you, and follow not the footsteps of Satan: for he is to you and avowed enemy.

So by deceit he brought about their fall: when they tasted of the tree, their shame became manifest to them, and they began to sew together the leaves of the garden over their bodies. And their Lord called unto them: "Did I not forbid you that tree, and tell you that Satan was an avowed enemy unto you?"

(Allah) said: "Get ye down. With enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling-place and your means of livelihood,- for a time."

And Abraham prayed for his father's forgiveness only because of a promise he had made to him. But when it became clear to him that he was an enemy to Allah, he dissociated himself from him: for Abraham was most tender-hearted, forbearing.

Said (the father): "My (dear) little son! relate not thy vision to thy brothers, lest they concoct a plot against thee: for Satan is to man an avowed enemy!

Behold! We said to the angels, "Bow down to Adam": They bowed down except Iblis. He was one of the Jinns, and he broke the Command of his Lord. Will ye then take him and his progeny as protectors rather than Me? And they are enemies to you! Evil would be the exchange for the wrong-doers!

"'Throw (the child) into the chest, and throw (the chest) into the river: the river will cast him up on the bank, and he will be taken up by one who is an enemy to Me and an enemy to him': But I cast (the garment of) love over thee from Me: and (this) in order that thou mayest be reared under Mine eye.

Then We said: "O Adam! verily, this is an enemy to thee and thy wife: so let him not get you both out of the Garden, so that thou art landed in misery.

He said: "Get ye down, both of you,- all together, from the Garden, with enmity one to another: but if, as is sure, there comes to you Guidance from Me, whosoever follows My Guidance, will not lose his way, nor fall into misery.

"For they are enemies to me; not so the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds;

And he entered the city at a time when its people were not watching: and he found there two men fighting,- one of his own religion, and the other, of his foes. Now the man of his own religion appealed to him against his foe, and Moses struck him with his fist and made an end of him. He said: "This is a work of Evil (Satan): for he is an enemy that manifestly misleads!"

Then, when he decided to lay hold of the man who was an enemy to both of them, that man said: "O Moses! Is it thy intention to slay me as thou slewest a man yesterday? Thy intention is none other than to become a powerful violent man in the land, and not to be one who sets things right!"

Verily Satan is an enemy to you: so treat him as an enemy. He only invites his adherents, that they may become Companions of the Blazing Fire.

"Did I not enjoin on you, O ye Children of Adam, that ye should not worship Satan; for that he was to you an enemy avowed?-

Let not the Evil One hinder you: for he is to you an enemy avowed.

Friends on that day will be foes, one to another,- except the Righteous.

然後，恶魔使他们俩为那棵树而犯罪，遂将他们俩人从所居的乐园中诱出。我说：“你们互相仇视下去吧。大地上有你们暂时的住处和享受。”

凡仇视真主、众天神、众使者，以及吉卜利里和米卡里的，须知真主是仇视不信道的人们的。”

众人啊！你们可以吃大地上所有合法而且佳美的食物，你们不要随从恶魔的步伐，他确是你们的明敌。

信道的人们啊！你们当全体入在和平教中，不要跟随恶魔的步伐，他确是你们的明敌。

（他创造了）供载运的和供食用的牲畜。你们可以吃真主所赐你们的给养，你们不要追随恶魔的步伐，他确是你们明显的仇敌。

他用欺骗的手段使他俩堕落。当他俩尝了那棵树的果实的时候，他俩的阴部便对自己现露出来了，他俩只好用园里的树叶遮盖自己的阴部。他俩的主喊叫他俩说：“难道我没有禁止你俩吃那棵树的果实吗？难道我没有对你俩说过，恶魔确是你俩的明敌吗？”

主说：“你们互相仇视地下去吧。大地上有你们暂时的住处和享受。”

易卜拉欣曾为他父亲求饶，只为有约在先；他既知道他的父亲是真主的仇敌，就与他脱离了关系。易卜拉欣确是慈悲的，确是容忍的。

他说：“我的孩子啊！你不要把你的梦告诉你的哥哥们，以免他们谋害你；恶魔确是人类公开的仇敌。”

当时我对众天神说：“你们应当向阿丹叩头。”他们都叩了头，但易卜劣厮除外。他本是精灵，所以违背他的主的命令。他和他的子孙，是你们的仇敌，你们却舍我而以他们为保护者吗？不义者的倒行逆施真恶劣！

说：“你把他放在一个箱子里，然后把那个箱子放在河里， 河水要把它漂到岸边，而我的一个敌人--也是他的敌人--将收养他。”我把从我发出的慈爱赏赐你，以便你在我的监护之下受抚育。

我说：“阿丹啊！这确是你的仇敌，也确是你的妻子的仇敌， 绝不要让他把你俩逐出乐园，以免你们辛苦。

他说：“你俩都从乐园降下去！你们将互相仇视。如果正道从我降临你们，那末，谁遵循我的正道，谁不会迷误，也不会倒霉；

他们确是我的仇敌，惟全世界的主则不然。

乘城里的人疏忽的时候，他走进城来，并在城里发现了两个人正在争斗，这个是属于他的宗族，那个是属于他的敌人，属于同族的人要求他帮着对付他的敌人，穆萨就把那敌人一拳打死。他说：“这是由于恶魔的诱惑，恶魔确是迷人的明敌。”

当他欲扑击他俩的敌人的时候，求救的那个人说：“穆萨啊！你要象昨日杀人样杀我吗？你只想做这地方的暴虐者，却不想做调解者。”

恶魔确是你们的仇敌，所以你们应当认他为仇敌。他只号召他的党羽，以便他们做烈火的居民。

阿丹的后裔呀！难道我没有嘱咐过你们吗？我说你们不要崇拜恶魔，他确是你们的仇敌。

绝不要让恶魔妨碍你们，他确是你们的明敌。

在那日，一般朋友将互相仇视，惟敬畏者则不然。
