Say: Whoever is an enemy to Gabriel-for he brings down the (revelation) to thy heart by Allah's will, a confirmation of what went before, and guidance and glad tidings for those who believe,-

Whoever is an enemy to Allah and His angels and messengers, to Gabriel and Michael,- Lo! Allah is an enemy to those who reject Faith.

When ye travel through the earth, there is no blame on you if ye shorten your prayers, for fear the Unbelievers May attack you: For the Unbelievers are unto you open enemies.

Likewise did We make for every Messenger an enemy,- evil ones among men and jinns, inspiring each other with flowery discourses by way of deception. If thy Lord had so planned, they would not have done it: so leave them and their inventions alone.

If, then, Allah bring thee back to any of them, and they ask thy permission to come out (with thee), say: "Never shall ye come out with me, nor fight an enemy with me: for ye preferred to sit inactive on the first occasion: Then sit ye (now) with those who lag behind."

Say to My servants that they should (only) say those things that are best: for Satan doth sow dissensions among them: For Satan is to man an avowed enemy.

Thus have We made for every prophet an enemy among the sinners: but enough is thy Lord to guide and to help.

Then the people of Pharaoh picked him up (from the river): (It was intended) that (Moses) should be to them an adversary and a cause of sorrow: for Pharaoh and Haman and (all) their hosts were men of sin.

Verily Satan is an enemy to you: so treat him as an enemy. He only invites his adherents, that they may become Companions of the Blazing Fire.

O ye who believe! Truly, among your wives and your children are (some that are) enemies to yourselves: so beware of them! But if ye forgive and overlook, and cover up (their faults), verily Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

你说：“凡仇视吉卜利里的，都是因为他奉真主的命令把启示降在你的心上，以证实古经，引导世人，并向信士们报喜。

凡仇视真主、众天神、众使者，以及吉卜利里和米卡里的，须知真主是仇视不信道的人们的。”

当你们在大地上旅行的时候，减短拜功，对于你们是无罪的，如果你们恐怕不信道者迫害你们。不信道者，确是你们明显的仇敌。

我这样以人类和精灵中的恶魔为-个先知的仇敌，他们为了欺骗而以花言巧语互相讽示--假若你的主意欲，那么，他们不做这件事，故你应当任他们伪造谎言--

如果真主使你转回去见到他们中的一伙人，而他们要求你允许他们出征，你就对他们说：“你们永远不要同我一道出征，你们绝不要同我一道去作战；你们初次确已喜欢安坐家中，往后，你们就同留在后方的人们一起安坐家中吧！”

你告诉我的仆人们说：叫他们说这句最优美的话--恶魔必定要离间他们，恶魔确是人类的明敌--

我这样使每个先知，都有一些罪人做他的仇敌，你的主足为引导者和援助者。

法老的侍从曾拾取了他，以致他成为他们的敌人和忧患。法老、哈曼和他俩的军队，确是错误的。

恶魔确是你们的仇敌，所以你们应当认他为仇敌。他只号召他的党羽，以便他们做烈火的居民。

信道的人们啊！你们的妻子儿女，有一部份确是你们的敌人，故你们当谨防他们。如果你们恕饶他们，原谅他们，赦宥他们，（真主就赦宥你们），因为真主确是至赦的，确是至慈的。
