We said
to the angels,
`Prostrate
to Adam,`
[so] they prostrated
except
Iblees.
He refused
and was arrogant
and became
of
the disbelievers.
And certainly
We created you
then
We fashioned you.
Then
We said
to the Angels,
`Prostrate
to Adam,`
So they prostrated,
except
Iblees.
He was not
of
those who prostrated.
And when
We said
to the Angels,
`Prostrate
to Adam.`
So they prostrated
except
Iblis.
He said,
`Shall I prostrate
to (one) whom
You created
(from) clay?`
And when
We said
to the Angels,
`Prostrate
to Adam
so they prostrated
except
Iblis.
(He) was
of
the jinn,
and he rebelled
against
the Command
(of) his Lord.
Will you then take him
and his offspring
(as) protectors
other than Me,
while they
(are) to you
enemies?
Wretched
for the wrongdoers
(is) the exchange.
And when
We said
to the Angels,
`Prostrate
to Adam,`
then they prostrated,
except
Iblis;
he refused.
And behold, We said to the angels: "Bow down to Adam" and they bowed down. Not so Iblis: he refused and was haughty: He was of those who reject Faith.
It is We Who created you and gave you shape; then We bade the angels prostrate to Adam, and they prostrate; not so Iblis; He refused to be of those who prostrate.
Behold! We said to the angels: "Bow down unto Adam": They bowed down except Iblis: He said, "Shall I bow down to one whom Thou didst create from clay?"
Behold! We said to the angels, "Bow down to Adam": They bowed down except Iblis. He was one of the Jinns, and he broke the Command of his Lord. Will ye then take him and his progeny as protectors rather than Me? And they are enemies to you! Evil would be the exchange for the wrong-doers!
When We said to the angels, "Prostrate yourselves to Adam", they prostrated themselves, but not Iblis: he refused.
当时，我对众天神说：“你们向阿丹叩头吧！”他们就叩头，惟有易卜劣厮不肯，他自大，他原是不信道的。
我确已创造你们，然后使你们成形，然后对众天神说：“你们向阿丹叩头。”他们就向他叩头，唯独易卜劣厮没有叩头。
当时我曾对众天神说：“你们应当向阿丹叩头。”他们就向他叩头，但易卜劣厮除外。他说：“你用泥土造成的，我怎能向他叩头呢！”
当时我对众天神说：“你们应当向阿丹叩头。”他们都叩了头，但易卜劣厮除外。他本是精灵，所以违背他的主的命令。他和他的子孙，是你们的仇敌，你们却舍我而以他们为保护者吗？不义者的倒行逆施真恶劣！
