Without doubt, among men, the nearest of kin to Abraham, are those who follow him, as are also this Prophet and those who believe: And Allah is the Protector of those who have faith.

And this is a Book which We have sent down, bringing blessings, and confirming (the revelations) which came before it: that thou mayest warn the mother of cities and all around her. Those who believe in the Hereafter believe in this (Book), and they are constant in guarding their prayers.

This is the way of thy Lord, leading straight: We have detailed the signs for those who receive admonition.

Out of what Allah hath produced in abundance in tilth and in cattle, they assigned Him a share: they say, according to their fancies: "This is for Allah, and this" - for our "partners"! but the share of their" partners "reacheth not Allah, whilst the share of Allah reacheth their "partners" ! evil (and unjust) is their assignment!

And this is a Book which We have revealed as a blessing: so follow it and be righteous, that ye may receive mercy:

She said: "Alas for me! shall I bear a child, seeing I am an old woman, and my husband here is an old man? That would indeed be a wonderful thing!"

They said: "Art thou indeed Joseph?" He said, "I am Joseph, and this is my brother: Allah has indeed been gracious to us (all): behold, he that is righteous and patient,- never will Allah suffer the reward to be lost, of those who do right."

We know indeed that they say, "It is a man that teaches him." The tongue of him they wickedly point to is notably foreign, while this is Arabic, pure and clear.

But say not - for any false thing that your tongues may put forth,- "This is lawful, and this is forbidden," so as to ascribe false things to Allah. For those who ascribe false things to Allah, will never prosper.

And this is a blessed Message which We have sent down: will ye then reject it?

It is He Who has let free the two bodies of flowing water: One palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter; yet has He made a barrier between them, a partition that is forbidden to be passed.

And he entered the city at a time when its people were not watching: and he found there two men fighting,- one of his own religion, and the other, of his foes. Now the man of his own religion appealed to him against his foe, and Moses struck him with his fist and made an end of him. He said: "This is a work of Evil (Satan): for he is an enemy that manifestly misleads!"

Nor are the two bodies of flowing water alike,- the one palatable, sweet, and pleasant to drink, and the other, salt and bitter. Yet from each (kind of water) do ye eat flesh fresh and tender, and ye extract ornaments to wear; and thou seest the ships therein that plough the waves, that ye may seek (thus) of the Bounty of Allah that ye may be grateful.

And before this, was the Book of Moses as a guide and a mercy: And this Book confirms (it) in the Arabic tongue; to admonish the unjust, and as Glad Tidings to those who do right.

And this City of security,-

与易卜拉欣最亲密的，确是顺从他的人，和这个先知，和信道的人。真主是信士们的保佑者。

这是我所降示的吉祥的经典，足以证实以前的天经，以便你用它去警告首邑（麦加）及其四周的居民；确信后世的人，都确信它，而且谨守拜功。

这是你的主的正路。我确已为觉悟的民众而解释一切迹象。

他们把真主所创造的农产和牲畜，一份供献真主，（一份供献偶像），他们妄言：”这是真主的，这是我们的配主的。”供献他们的配主的，不能拨归真主；供献真主的，却可以拨归他们的配主。他们的决定真恶劣！

这是我所降示的.吉祥的经典，故你们当遵守它，并当敬畏主，以便你们蒙主的怜悯。

她说：“咄咄怪事，我这个老太婆还会生孩子吗？这是我龙钟的丈夫。这确是一件奇事！”

他们说：“怎么，你呀！真是优素福吗？”他说：“我是优素福，这是我弟弟，真主确已降恩给我们。谁敬畏而且坚忍，（谁必受报酬），因为真主必不使行善者徒劳无酬。”

我的确知道，他们说过：”这只是一个凡人所传授的。”他们所倾向的那个人的语言是化外人（的语言），而这（部经典的语言）是明白的阿拉伯语。

你们对于自己所叙述的事，不要妄言：”这是合法的，那是违法的。”以致你们假借真主的名义而造谣。假借真主的名义而造谣者必不成功。

这是我所降示的吉祥的记念，难道你们否认它吗？

他就是任两海之间自由交流的，这是很甜的淡水，那是很苦的咸水； 他在两海之间设置屏障和堤防。

乘城里的人疏忽的时候，他走进城来，并在城里发现了两个人正在争斗，这个是属于他的宗族，那个是属于他的敌人，属于同族的人要求他帮着对付他的敌人，穆萨就把那敌人一拳打死。他说：“这是由于恶魔的诱惑，恶魔确是迷人的明敌。”

两海不一样，这海是很甜的、可口的淡水，那海是很苦的咸水。你们可吃每一海中所产的新鲜的肉，又可采你们所戴的首饰。你看船舶在海上破浪而行，以便你们寻求他的恩惠，以便你们感谢他。

在它之前，有穆萨的经典，做世人的准绳和恩惠。这是一本阿拉伯文的经典，能证实以前的天经，以便它警告不义的人们，并做行善者的佳音。
