And the Hypocrites also. These were told: "Come, fight in the way of Allah, or (at least) drive (The foe from your city)." They said: "Had we known how to fight, we should certainly have followed you." They were that day nearer to Unbelief than to Faith, saying with their lips what was not in their hearts but Allah hath full knowledge of all they conceal.

We know indeed the grief which their words do cause thee: It is not thee they reject: it is the signs of Allah, which the wicked contemn.

We do indeed know how thy heart is distressed at what they say.

We know indeed that they say, "It is a man that teaches him." The tongue of him they wickedly point to is notably foreign, while this is Arabic, pure and clear.

Let not their speech, then, grieve thee. Verily We know what they hide as well as what they disclose.

也要认识伪信的人。有人对他们说：“你们来吧，来为主道而作战，或来自卫吧！”他们说：“假若我们会打仗，我们必定追随你们。”在那日，与其说他们是信道的人，不如说他们是不信道的人。他们口里所说的，并不是他们心里所想的。真主是知道他们所隐讳者的。

我确已知道：他们所说的话必使你悲伤。他们不是否认你，那些不义的人，是在否认真主的迹象。

我确已知道你为他们的谰言而烦闷。

我的确知道，他们说过：”这只是一个凡人所传授的。”他们所倾向的那个人的语言是化外人（的语言），而这（部经典的语言）是明白的阿拉伯语。

所以不要让他们的妄言使你忧愁。我的确知道他们所隐匿的，和他们所表现的。
