If the people of the towns had but believed and feared Allah, We should indeed have opened out to them (All kinds of) blessings from heaven and earth; but they rejected (the truth), and We brought them to book for their misdeeds.

"Those who follow the messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the Gospel;- for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper."

Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them."

O ye who believe! when ye meet the Unbelievers in hostile array, never turn your backs to them.

O ye who believe! Obey Allah and His Messenger, and turn not away from him when ye hear (him speak).

O ye who believe! give your response to Allah and His Messenger, when He calleth you to that which will give you life; and know that Allah cometh in between a man and his heart, and that it is He to Whom ye shall (all) be gathered.

O ye that believe! betray not the trust of Allah and the Messenger, nor misappropriate knowingly things entrusted to you.

O ye who believe! if ye fear Allah, He will grant you a criterion (to judge between right and wrong), remove from you (all) evil (that may afflict) you, and forgive you: for Allah is the Lord of grace unbounded.

O ye who believe! When ye meet a force, be firm, and call Allah in remembrance much (and often); that ye may prosper:

Those who believed, and adopted exile, and fought for the Faith, with their property and their persons, in the cause of Allah, as well as those who gave (them) asylum and aid,- these are (all) friends and protectors, one of another. As to those who believed but came not into exile, ye owe no duty of protection to them until they come into exile; but if they seek your aid in religion, it is your duty to help them, except against a people with whom ye have a treaty of mutual alliance. And (remember) Allah seeth all that ye do.

Those who believed, and adopted exile, and fought for the Faith, with their property and their persons, in the cause of Allah, as well as those who gave (them) asylum and aid,- these are (all) friends and protectors, one of another. And those who accept Faith subsequently, and adopt exile, and fight for the Faith in your company,- they are of you. But kindred by blood have prior rights against each other in the Book of Allah. Verily Allah is well-acquainted with all things.

Those who believe, and suffer exile and strive with might and main, in Allah's cause, with their goods and their persons, have the highest rank in the sight of Allah: they are the people who will achieve (salvation).

O ye who believe! take not for protectors your fathers and your brothers if they love infidelity above Faith: if any of you do so, they do wrong.

O ye who believe! Truly the Pagans are unclean; so let them not, after this year of theirs, approach the Sacred Mosque. And if ye fear poverty, soon will Allah enrich you, if He wills, out of His bounty, for Allah is All-knowing, All-wise.

O ye who believe! there are indeed many among the priests and anchorites, who in Falsehood devour the substance of men and hinder (them) from the way of Allah. And there are those who bury gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah: announce unto them a most grievous penalty-

O ye who believe! what is the matter with you, that, when ye are asked to go forth in the cause of Allah, ye cling heavily to the earth? Do ye prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter? But little is the comfort of this life, as compared with the Hereafter.

Among them are men who molest the Prophet and say, "He is (all) ear." Say, "He listens to what is best for you: he believes in Allah, has faith in the Believers, and is a Mercy to those of you who believe." But those who molest the Messenger will have a grievous penalty.

But the Messenger, and those who believe with him, strive and fight with their wealth and their persons: for them are (all) good things: and it is they who will prosper.

It is not fitting, for the Prophet and those who believe, that they should pray for forgiveness for Pagans, even though they be of kin, after it is clear to them that they are companions of the Fire.

O ye who believe! Fear Allah and be with those who are true (in word and deed).

O ye who believe! fight the unbelievers who gird you about, and let them find firmness in you: and know that Allah is with those who fear Him.

Whenever there cometh down a sura, some of them say: "Which of you has had His faith increased by it?" Yea, those who believe,- their faith is increased and they do rejoice.

Is it a matter of wonderment to men that We have sent Our inspiration to a man from among themselves?- that he should warn mankind (of their danger), and give the good news to the Believers that they have before their Lord the lofty rank of truth. (But) say the Unbelievers: "This is indeed an evident sorcerer!"

To Him will be your return- of all of you. The promise of Allah is true and sure. It is He Who beginneth the process of creation, and repeateth it, that He may reward with justice those who believe and work righteousness; but those who reject Him will have draughts of boiling fluids, and a penalty grievous, because they did reject Him.

Those who believe, and work righteousness,- their Lord will guide them because of their faith: beneath them will flow rivers in gardens of bliss.

Those who believe and (constantly) guard against evil;-

Why was there not a single township (among those We warned), which believed,- so its faith should have profited it,- except the people of Jonah? When they believed, We removed from them the penalty of ignominy in the life of the present, and permitted them to enjoy (their life) for a while.

In the end We deliver Our messengers and those who believe: Thus is it fitting on Our part that We should deliver those who believe!

假若各城市的居民，信道而且敬畏，我必为他们而开辟天地的福利，但他们否认先知，故我因他们所作的罪恶而惩治他们了。

他们顺从使者--不识字的先知，他们在自己所有的《讨拉特》和《引支勒》中发现关于他的记载。他命令他们行善，禁止他们作恶，准许他们吃佳美的食物，禁戒他们吃污秽的食物，卸脱他们的重担，解除他们的桎梏，故凡信仰他，尊重他，援助他，而且遵循与他一起降临的光明的人，都是成功者。

当时，你的主启示众天神：”我是与你们同在的，故你们当使信道者坚定。我要把恐怖投在不信道的人的心中。”故你们当斩他们的首级，断他们的指头。

信道的人们啊！当你们遇著不信道的人向你们进攻的时候，你们不要以背向敌。

信道的人们啊！你们当顺从真主及其使者，你们聆听（他讲话）的时候，不要违背他。

信道的人们啊！当使者号召你们去遵循那使你们获得生命的（教训）的时候，你们当响应真主和使者。你们当知道真主能干涉个人的心灵，你们只被召集到他那里。

信道的人们啊！你们不要背叛真主和使者，不要明知故犯地不忠于你们所受的信托。

信道的人们啊！如果你们敬畏真主，他将以鉴识赏赐你们，并原谅你们的罪行，饶恕你们。真主是有鸿恩的。

信道的人们啊！当你们遇见一伙敌军的时候，你们应当坚定，应当多多记念真主，以便你们成功。

信道而且迁居，并以自己的财产和生命为真主而奋斗的人和款留（使者），赞助（正道）的人，这等人互为监护者。信道而未迁居的人，绝不得与你们互为监护人，直到他们迁居；如果他们为宗教事而向你们求援，那末，你们应当援助他们，除非他们的敌人与你们有盟约关系。真主是明察你们的行为的。

信道而且迁居，并以自己的财产和生命为真主而奋斗的人和款留（使者），赞助（正道）的人，这等人互为监护者。信道而未迁居的人，绝不得与你们互为监护人，直到他们迁居；如果他们为宗教事而向你们求援，那末，你们应当援助他们，除非他们的敌人与你们有盟约关系。真主是明察你们的行为的。

信道而且迁居，并且为真主而奋斗的人和款留（使者），赞助（正道）的人，这等人确是真实的信士，他们将获赦宥和优厚的给养。

此后信道而且迁居，并与你们共同奋斗的人，这等人是你们的同道。骨肉至亲互为监护人，这是载在天经中的，真主确是全知万物的。

信道而且迁居，并借自己的财产和生命为主道而奋斗者，在真主看来，是品级更高的；这等人就是成功的。

信道的人们啊！你们不要以自己的父兄为保护人，如果他们弃正信而取迷信的话。你们中谁以他们为保护人，谁是不义者。

信道的人们啊！以物配主者只是污秽，故从今年起不准他们临近禁寺；如果你们畏惧贫困，那末，真主将以他的恩惠使你们满足，如果他意欲。真主确是全知的，确是至睿的。

信道的人们啊！有许多博士和僧侣，的确借诈术而侵吞别人的财产，并且阻止别人走真主的大道。窖藏金银，而不用于主道者，你应当以痛苦的刑罚向他们报喜。

信道的人们啊！教你们为真主而出征的时候，你们怎么依恋故乡，懒得出发呢？难道你们愿以后世的幸福换取今世的生活吗？今世的享受比起后世的幸福来是微不足道的。

他们中有人伤害先知，称他为耳朵，你说：“他对于你们是好耳朵，他信仰真主，信任信士们，他是你们中信道者的慈恩。”伤害先知的人们，将受痛苦的刑罚。

但使者和他的信士们，借自己的财产和生命而奋斗；这等人正是有福的，这等人正是成功的。

先知和信士们，既知道多神教徒是火狱的居民，就不该为他们求饶，即使他们是自己的亲戚。

信道的人们啊！你们要敬畏真主，要和诚实的人在一起。

信道的人们啊！你们要讨伐邻近你们的不信道者，使他们感觉到你们的严厉。你们知道，真主是和克己者在一起的。

当降示一章经的时候，他们中有人说：“这章经使你们中的哪个人更加确信呢？”至于信道者，那章经使他们更加确信了。同时，他们是快乐的。

难道人们认为这是怪事吗？我曾启示他们中的一个男子：你要警告众人，你要向信士们报喜，告诉他们在他们的主那里，他们有崇高的品位。不信道者曾说：“这确是明显的术士。”

你们都只归于他，真主的诺言是真实的。他确已创造了万物，而且必加以再造，以便他秉公地报酬信道而且行善者。不信道者，将因自己的不信道而饮沸水，并受痛苦的刑罚。

信道而且行善的人，他们的主将因他们的信仰而引导他们；他们将安居于下临诸河的幸福园中。

他们就是信道而敬畏的人。

为何没有一个城市的居民信仰正道，因而获得信道的裨益呢？但优努斯的宗族，当他们信道的时候，我曾为他们解除了今世生活中凌辱的刑罚，并使他们暂时享受。

嗣后，我拯救了我的使者们和信道的人们，我将这样负责拯救一般信士。
