If they had kept their Faith and guarded themselves from evil, far better had been the reward from their Lord, if they but knew!

Of those who answered the call of Allah and the Messenger, even after being wounded, those who do right and refrain from wrong have a great reward;-

If only the People of the Book had believed and been righteous, We should indeed have blotted out their iniquities and admitted them to gardens of bliss.

If the people of the towns had but believed and feared Allah, We should indeed have opened out to them (All kinds of) blessings from heaven and earth; but they rejected (the truth), and We brought them to book for their misdeeds.

假若他们信道，而且敬畏，那末，从真主那里降下的报酬，必是更好的；假若他们知道，（必已信道）。

他们遭受创伤之后仍应真主和使者的召唤。他们中行善而且敬畏的人，得享受重大的报酬。

假若信奉天经的人信道而且敬畏，我必勾销他们的罪恶，我必使他们入恩泽的乐园。

假若各城市的居民，信道而且敬畏，我必为他们而开辟天地的福利，但他们否认先知，故我因他们所作的罪恶而惩治他们了。
