Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practising Patience and Constancy!"

Then bring ye your Book (of authority) if ye be truthful!

"We never heard (the like) of this among the people of these latter days: this is nothing but a made-up tale!"

Not one (of them) but rejected the messengers, but My punishment came justly and inevitably (on them).

'Only this has been revealed to me: that I am to give warning plainly and publicly."

"This is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds.

If ye reject (Allah), Truly Allah hath no need of you; but He liketh not ingratitude from His servants: if ye are grateful, He is pleased with you. No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another. In the end, to your Lord is your Return, when He will tell you the truth of all that ye did (in this life). for He knoweth well all that is in (men's) hearts.

Say: "I would, if I disobeyed my Lord, indeed have fear of the Penalty of a Mighty Day."

If indeed thou ask them who it is that created the heavens and the earth, they would be sure to say, "Allah". Say: "See ye then? the things that ye invoke besides Allah,- can they, if Allah wills some Penalty for me, remove His Penalty?- Or if He wills some Grace for me, can they keep back his Grace?" Say: "Sufficient is Allah for me! In Him trust those who put their trust."

"O my People! Yours is the dominion this day: Ye have the upper hand in the land: but who will help us from the Punishment of Allah, should it befall us?" Pharaoh said: "I but point out to you that which I see (myself); Nor do I guide you but to the Path of Right!"

Those who dispute about the signs of Allah without any authority bestowed on them,- there is nothing in their breasts but (the quest of) greatness, which they shall never attain to: seek refuge, then, in Allah: It is He Who hears and sees (all things).

Among His Signs are the Night and the Day, and the Sun and the Moon. Do not prostrate to the sun and the moon, but prostrate to Allah, Who created them, if it is Him ye wish to serve.

Say: "See ye if the (Revelation) is (really) from Allah, and yet do ye reject it? Who is more astray than one who is in a schism far (from any purpose)?"

If it be His Will He can still the Wind: then would they become motionless on the back of the (ocean). Verily in this are Signs for everyone who patiently perseveres and is grateful.

If then they run away, We have not sent thee as a guard over them. Thy duty is but to convey (the Message). And truly, when We give man a taste of a Mercy from Ourselves, he doth exult thereat, but when some ill happens to him, on account of the deeds which his hands have sent forth, truly then is man ungrateful!

("Ah!") they say, "If it had been the will of (Allah) Most Gracious, we should not have worshipped such (deities)!" Of that they have no knowledge! they do nothing but lie!

He was no more than a servant: We granted Our favour to him, and We made him an example to the Children of Israel.

Say: "If (Allah) Most Gracious had a son, I would be the first to worship."

The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all between them, if ye (but) have an assured faith.

"There is nothing beyond our first death, and we shall not be raised again.

"Then bring (back) our forefathers, if what ye say is true!"

And they say: "What is there but our life in this world? We shall die and we live, and nothing but time can destroy us." But of that they have no knowledge: they merely conjecture:

And when Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them their argument is nothing but this: They say, "Bring (back) our forefathers, if what ye say is true!"

"And when it was said that the promise of Allah was true, and that the Hour- there was no doubt about its (coming), ye used to say, 'We know not what is the hour: we only think it is an idea, and we have no firm assurance.'"

Say: "Do ye see what it is ye invoke besides Allah? Show me what it is they have created on earth, or have they a share in the heavens bring me a book (revealed) before this, or any remnant of knowledge (ye may have), if ye are telling the truth!

Say: "I am no bringer of new-fangled doctrine among the messengers, nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I follow but that which is revealed to me by inspiration; I am but a Warner open and clear."

Say: "See ye? If (this teaching) be from Allah, and ye reject it, and a witness from among the Children of Israel testifies to its similarity (with earlier scripture), and has believed while ye are arrogant, (how unjust ye are!) truly, Allah guides not a people unjust."

They said: "Hast thou come in order to turn us aside from our gods? Then bring upon us the (calamity) with which thou dost threaten us, if thou art telling the truth?"

And We had firmly established them in a (prosperity and) power which We have not given to you (ye Quraish!) and We had endowed them with (faculties of) hearing, seeing, heart and intellect: but of no profit to them were their (faculties of) hearing, sight, and heart and intellect, when they went on rejecting the Signs of Allah; and they were (completely) encircled by that which they used to mock at!

O ye who believe! If ye will aid (the cause of) Allah, He will aid you, and plant your feet firmly.

当他长到能帮着他操作的时候，他说：“我的小子啊！我确已梦见我宰你为牺牲。你考虑一下！你究竟是什么意见？”他说：“我的父亲啊！请你执行你所奉的命令吧！如果真主意欲，你将发现我是坚忍的。”

拿出你们的经典来吧，倘若你们是诚实的！

在最后的宗教中，我们没有听见这种话，这种话只是伪造的。

他们之中没有一个未曾否认使者的，所以我的惩罚是必然的。

我只奉到启示说我是一个坦率的警告者。”

这只是对全世界的教诲，

如果你们忘恩，那末，真主确是无求于你们的，他不喜悦他的众仆忘恩负义。如果你们感谢，那末，他喜悦你们的感谢。一个负罪的人，不负别人的罪。然后，你们只归于你们的主，他要将你们的行为告诉你们。他确是全知心事者。

你说：“倘若我违抗我的主，我的确畏惧重大日的刑罚。”

如果你问他们：”谁创造了天地？”他们必定说：“真主。”你说：“你们告诉我吧，你们舍真主而祈祷的那些偶像，如果真主欲加害于我，他们能解除他的伤害吗？如果真主欲施恩于我，他们能扣留他的恩惠吗？”你说：“真主是使我满足的，信任者只信任真主。”

我的宗族啊！今日国权只归你们，你们在国中称雄。如果真主的刑罚来临，那末，谁助我们抵抗它呢？”法老说：“我只以我的主张指示你们，我只引导你们走上正道。”

没有真凭实据而争论真主的迹象者，他们的胸中，的确只有一个念头，就是要想达到他们绝不能达到的伟大。故你当求庇于真主，他确是全聪的，确是全明的。

昼夜与日月，都是他的迹象。你们不要向日月叩头，你们应当向创造那些迹象的真主叩头，如果你们是崇拜他的话。

你说：“你们告诉我吧！如果《古兰经》是从真主那里降示的，而你们不信它，那末，有谁比长远违背真理者更迷误呢？”

如果他意欲，他就使风静止，而船舶停顿在海面上。对于每个坚忍者、感谢者，其中确有许多迹象。

如果他们退避，那末，我没有派你做他们的监护者，你只负通知的责任。我使人类尝试从我发出的恩惠的时候，他们因恩惠而快乐；他们因为曾经犯罪而遭难的时候，人类确是孤恩的。

他们说：“假若至仁主意欲，我们是不会崇拜他们的。”他们对于此说，毫无认识；你们只是在说谎话。

他只是一个仆人，我赐他恩典，并以他为以色列后裔的示范。

你说：“如果至仁主有儿女，那末，我是首先崇拜其儿女的。”

他是天地万物的主，如果你们是坚信者。

“我们只有初次的死亡，我们不会复活。

你们把我们的祖先召唤回来吧，如果你们是说实话的。”

他们说：“只有我们的今世生活，我们死的死，生的生，只有光阴能使我们消灭。”他们对于那事，一无所知，他们专事猜测。

有人对他们宣读我的明显的迹象的时候，他们只是借口说：“你们把我们的祖先召唤回来吧，如果你们是说实话的。”

有人说：“真主的应许，确是真实的；复活时是毫无疑义的。”你们就说：“我们不知道复活时是什么，我们只猜想那或许是要发生的，但我们并不确信。”

你说：“你们告诉我吧！你们舍真主而祈祷的那些偶像怎么应受崇拜呢？你们告诉我吧！他们曾独自创造了大地的哪一部分呢？还是他们曾与真主共同创造诸天呢？你们昭示我此经之前的一本天经，或残存的古学吧，如果你们是说实话的。”

你说：“我不是破天荒的天使；我不知道我要遭遇什么，也不知道你们要遭遇什么，我只遵从我所受的启示，我只是一个坦率的警告者。”

你说：“你们告诉我吧！如果《古兰经》是从真主那里降示的，而你们不信它--以色列后裔中的一个见证者，已作证其相似而信奉之，你们却不屑信奉--那末，谁比你们更迷误呢？真主必定不引导不义的民众。”

他们说：“你来阻止我们崇拜我们的众神灵吗？你昭示我们你所用以恫吓我们的刑罚吧！如果你是说实话的！”

我确已把没有赏赐你们的地位赏赐了他们，我曾赋予他们聪明睿智；但他们的聪明睿智，对于他们毫无裨益，因为他们否认真主的迹象，所以他们一向所嘲笑的刑罚降临他们了。

信道的人们啊！如果你们相助真主，他就相助你们，并使你们的脚步稳固。
