And Firaun said,
`Bring to me
every
magician
learned.`
And said
the king,
`Bringhim to me.`
But when
came to him
thet messenger,
he said,
`Return
to
your lord,
and ask him
what
(is the) case
(of) the women
who
cut
their hands.
Indeed,
my Lord
of their plot
(is) All-Knower.`
And said
the king,
`Bring him to me;
I will select him
for myself.`
Then when
he spoke to him,
he said,
`Indeed, you
(are) today
with us
firmly established
(and) trusted.`
And when
he had furnished them
with their supplies,
he said,
`Bring to me
a brother
of yours,
from
your father.
Do not
you see
that I
[I] give full
[the] measure,
and that I am
(the) best
(of) the hosts?
Say,
`Do you see
what
you call
besides
Allah?
Show me
what
they have created
of
the earth
the earth
the earth
(is) any share
in
the heavens?
Bring me
a book
before
this
or
traces
of
knowledge,
if
you are
truthful.`
Said Pharaoh: "Bring me every sorcerer well versed."
So the king said: "Bring ye him unto me." But when the messenger came to him, (Joseph) said: "Go thou back to thy lord, and ask him, 'What is the state of mind of the ladies who cut their hands'? For my Lord is certainly well aware of their snare."
So the king said: "Bring him unto me; I will take him specially to serve about my own person." Therefore when he had spoken to him, he said: "Be assured this day, thou art, before our own presence, with rank firmly established, and fidelity fully proved!
And when he had furnished them forth with provisions (suitable) for them, he said: "Bring unto me a brother ye have, of the same father as yourselves, (but a different mother): see ye not that I pay out full measure, and that I do provide the best hospitality?
Say: "Do ye see what it is ye invoke besides Allah? Show me what it is they have created on earth, or have they a share in the heavens bring me a book (revealed) before this, or any remnant of knowledge (ye may have), if ye are telling the truth!
法老说：“你们把一切高明的术士都召来见我吧！”
国王说：“你们带他来见我吧！”当使者到来的时候，他说：“请你回去问问你的主人，曾经把自己的手割伤了的那些妇女，现在是怎样的？我的主是全知她们的诡计的。”
国王说：“你们带他来见我，我要使他为我自己所专有。”他对国王说话的时候，国王说：“今天你在我的御前确是有崇高品级的，是可以信任的人。”
当他以他们所需的粮食供给他们之后，他说：“你们把你们同父的弟弟带来见我吧！难道你们不见我把足量的粮食给你们，而且我是最好的东道主吗？
你说：“你们告诉我吧！你们舍真主而祈祷的那些偶像怎么应受崇拜呢？你们告诉我吧！他们曾独自创造了大地的哪一部分呢？还是他们曾与真主共同创造诸天呢？你们昭示我此经之前的一本天经，或残存的古学吧，如果你们是说实话的。”
