Allah (thus) directs you as regards your Children's (Inheritance): to the male, a portion equal to that of two females: if only daughters, two or more, their share is two-thirds of the inheritance; if only one, her share is a half. For parents, a sixth share of the inheritance to each, if the deceased left children; if no children, and the parents are the (only) heirs, the mother has a third; if the deceased Left brothers (or sisters) the mother has a sixth. These are settled portions ordained by Allah; and Allah is All-knowing, Al-wise.

Behold, ye are those invited to spend (of your substance) in the Way of Allah: But among you are some that are niggardly. But any who are niggardly are so at the expense of their own souls. But Allah is free of all wants, and it is ye that are needy. If ye turn back (from the Path), He will substitute in your stead another people; then they would not be like you!

Leave alone those who take their religion to be mere play and amusement, and are deceived by the life of this world. But proclaim (to them) this (truth): that every soul delivers itself to ruin by its own acts: it will find for itself no protector or intercessor except Allah: if it offered every ransom, (or reparation), none will be accepted: such is (the end of) those who deliver themselves to ruin by their own acts: they will have for drink (only) boiling water, and for punishment, one most grievous: for they persisted in rejecting Allah.

But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in Allah: for He is One that heareth and knoweth (all things).

He said: "O my people! See ye if (it be that) I have a Clear Sign from my Lord, and that He hath sent Mercy unto me from His own presence, but that the Mercy hath been obscured from your sight? shall we compel you to accept it when ye are averse to it?

And the parable of an evil Word is that of an evil tree: It is torn up by the root from the surface of the earth: it has no stability.

Those who do wish for the (things of) the Hereafter, and strive therefor with all due striving, and have Faith,- they are the ones whose striving is acceptable (to Allah).

That which is on earth we have made but as a glittering show for the earth, in order that We may test them - as to which of them are best in conduct.

She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them; then We sent her our angel, and he appeared before her as a man in all respects.

Behold! he said to his father and his people, "What are these images, to which ye are (so assiduously) devoted?"

And to how many populations did I give respite, which were given to wrong-doing? in the end I punished them. To me is the destination (of all).

It is these who hasten in every good work, and these who are foremost in them.

But their hearts are in confused ignorance of this; and there are, besides that, deeds of theirs, which they will (continue) to do,-

When it sees them from a place fAr off, they will hear its fury and its ranging sigh.

If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility.

They said: "We worship idols, and we remain constantly in attendance on them."

He said: "Here is a she-camel: she has a right of watering, and ye have a right of watering, (severally) on a day appointed.

Never did We destroy a population, but had its warners -

He said: "Transform her throne out of all recognition by her: let us see whether she is guided (to the truth) or is one of those who receive no guidance."

他们请求你解释律例。你说：“真主为你们解释关于孤独人的律例。如果一个男人死了，他没有儿女，只有一个姐姐或妹妹，那末，她得他的遗产的二分之一；如果他她没有儿女，那他就继承她。如果他的继承人是两个姐姐或妹妹，那末，她们俩得遗产的三分之二；如果继承人是几个兄弟姐妹，那末， 一个男人得两个女人的份子。真主为你们阐明律例，以免你们迷误。真主是全知万物的。”

我说：“如果你们行善，那末，你们是为自己而行善，如果你们作恶，那末，你们是为自己而作恶。”当第二次作乱的约期来临的时候，（我又派遣他们），以便他们使你们变成为愁眉苦脸的，以便他们像头一次那样再入禁寺，以便他们把自己所占领的地方加以摧毁。

你们喜爱他们，他们却不喜爱你们，你们确信一切天经，而他们遇见你们就说：“我们已信道了。”他们私相聚会的时候，为怨恨你们而咬自己的指头。你说：“你们为怨恨而死亡吧！”真主确是全知心事的。

你们这等人啊！有人劝你们为主道而费用，你们中却有吝啬的。吝啬的人自受吝啬之害。真主确是无求的，你们确是有求的。如果你们违背命令，他就要以别的民众代替他们，然后，他们不象你们样。

那是已逝去的民族，他们得享受他们的行为的报酬，你们得享受你们的行为的报酬，你们对他们的行为不负责任。

对於宗教，绝无强迫；因为正邪确已分明了。谁不信恶魔而信真主，谁确已把握住坚实的、绝不断折的把柄。真主是全聪的，是全知的。

真主只依各人的能力而加以责成。各人要享受自己所行善功的奖赏，要遭遇自己所作罪恶的惩罚。”我们的主啊！求你不要惩罚我们，如果我们遗忘或错误。求你不要使我们荷负重担，犹如你使古人荷负它一样。我们的主啊！求你不要使我们担负我们所不能胜任的。求你恕饶我们，求你赦宥我们，求你怜悯我们。你是我们的保佑者，求你援助我们，以对抗不信道的民众。”

把自己的宗教当作嬉戏和娱乐，而且为今世生活所欺骗的人，你可以任他们自便。你应当以《古兰经》劝戒世人，以免任何人因自己的罪行而遭毁灭；他除真主外没有保护者，也没有说情者，他无论怎样赎罪，总无效果。这等人，将为自己的罪行而遭毁灭。他们将为不信道而享受沸腾的饮料，和受痛苦的刑罚。

如果他们倾向和平，你也应当倾向和平，应当信赖真主。他确是全聪的，确是全知的。

他说：“我的宗族啊！你们告诉我吧，如果我是依据从我的主降示的明证的，并且曾受过从他那里发出的慈恩，但那个明证对于你们是模糊的，难道你们憎恶它，而我们强迫你们接受它吗？

一句恶言，恰似一棵恶劣的树，从大地上被连根拔去，绝没有一点安定。

火狱有七道门，每道门将收容他们中被派定的一部分人。

凡欲获得后世，并为此而尽了努力的信道者，这等人的努力是有报酬的。

我确已使大地上的一切事物成为大地的装饰品，以便我考验世人，看谁的工作是最优美的。
