"If ye turn away,- I (at least) have conveyed the Message with which I was sent to you. My Lord will make another people to succeed you, and you will not harm Him in the least. For my Lord hath care and watch over all things."

Those whom they invoke besides Allah create nothing and are themselves created.

It is Allah who creates you and takes your souls at death; and of you there are some who are sent back to a feeble age, so that they know nothing after having known (much): for Allah is All-Knowing, All-Powerful.

And worship others than Allah,- such as have no power of providing them, for sustenance, with anything in heavens or earth, and cannot possibly have such power?

It is He Who brought you forth from the wombs of your mothers when ye knew nothing; and He gave you hearing and sight and intelligence and affections: that ye may give thanks (to Allah).

And had We not given thee strength, thou wouldst nearly have inclined to them a little.

Each of those gardens brought forth its produce, and failed not in the least therein: in the midst of them We caused a river to flow.

So they both proceeded: until, when they were in the boat, he scuttled it. Said Moses: "Hast thou scuttled it in order to drown those in it? Truly a strange thing hast thou done!"

Then they proceeded: until, when they met a young man, he slew him. Moses said: "Hast thou slain an innocent person who had slain none? Truly a foul (unheard of) thing hast thou done!"

He said: "So (it will be) thy Lord saith, 'that is easy for Me: I did indeed create thee before, when thou hadst been nothing!'"

At length she brought the (babe) to her people, carrying him (in her arms). They said: "O Mary! truly an amazing thing hast thou brought!

Behold, he said to his father: "O my father! why worship that which heareth not and seeth not, and can profit thee nothing?

Except those who repent and believe, and work righteousness: for these will enter the Garden and will not be wronged in the least,-

But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing?

Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous!

We shall set up scales of justice for the Day of Judgment, so that not a soul will be dealt with unjustly in the least, and if there be (no more than) the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it (to account): and enough are We to take account.

(Abraham) said, "Do ye then worship, besides Allah, things that can neither be of any good to you nor do you harm?

O mankind! if ye have a doubt about the Resurrection, (consider) that We created you out of dust, then out of sperm, then out of a leech-like clot, then out of a morsel of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed, in order that We may manifest (our power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term, then do We bring you out as babes, then (foster you) that ye may reach your age of full strength; and some of you are called to die, and some are sent back to the feeblest old age, so that they know nothing after having known (much), and (further), thou seest the earth barren and lifeless, but when We pour down rain on it, it is stirred (to life), it swells, and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs).

Behold! We gave the site, to Abraham, of the (Sacred) House, (saying): "Associate not anything (in worship) with Me; and sanctify My House for those who compass it round, or stand up, or bow, or prostrate themselves (therein in prayer).

O men! Here is a parable set forth! listen to it! Those on whom, besides Allah, ye call, cannot create (even) a fly, if they all met together for the purpose! and if the fly should snatch away anything from them, they would have no power to release it from the fly. Feeble are those who petition and those whom they petition!

But the Unbelievers,- their deeds are like a mirage in sandy deserts, which the man parched with thirst mistakes for water; until when he comes up to it, he finds it to be nothing: But he finds Allah (ever) with him, and Allah will pay him his account: and Allah is swift in taking account.

Allah has promised, to those among you who believe and work righteous deeds, that He will, of a surety, grant them in the land, inheritance (of power), as He granted it to those before them; that He will establish in authority their religion - the one which He has chosen for them; and that He will change (their state), after the fear in which they (lived), to one of security and peace: 'They will worship Me (alone) and not associate aught with Me. 'If any do reject Faith after this, they are rebellious and wicked.

Yet have they taken, besides him, gods that can create nothing but are themselves created; that have no control of hurt or good to themselves; nor can they control death nor life nor resurrection.

O mankind! do your duty to your Lord, and fear (the coming of) a Day when no father can avail aught for his son, nor a son avail aught for his father. Verily, the promise of Allah is true: let not then this present life deceive you, nor let the chief Deceiver deceive you about Allah.

Whether ye reveal anything or conceal it, verily Allah has full knowledge of all things.

"Shall I take (other) gods besides Him? If (Allah) Most Gracious should intend some adversity for me, of no use whatever will be their intercession for me, nor can they deliver me.

Then, on that Day, not a soul will be wronged in the least, and ye shall but be repaid the meeds of your past Deeds.

Verily, when He intends a thing, His Command is, "be", and it is!

What! Do they take for intercessors others besides Allah? Say: "Even if they have no power whatever and no intelligence?"

"In derogation of Allah?" They will reply: "They have left us in the lurch: Nay, we invoked not, of old, anything (that had real existence)." Thus does Allah leave the Unbelievers to stray.

如果你们违背正道，那末，我确已把我所奉的使命传达给你们了，我的主将以别的民众代替你们，你们一点也不能伤害他。我的主确是监护万物的。”

他们舍真主而祈祷的不能创造任何物，而他们是被创造的。

真主创造你们，然后使你们死亡。你们中有人复返于一生中最恶劣的阶段，以致他在有知识之后又变得一无所知。真主确是全知的，确是全能的。

他们舍真主而崇拜（偶像），那是不能为他们主持从天上降下的和从地上生出的一点给养，而且毫无能力的。

真主使你们从母腹出生，你们什么也不知道，他为你们创造耳目和心灵，以便你们感谢。

要不是我使你坚定，你几乎已倾向于他们了。

两园都出产果实，毫不欠缺，并在两园之间，开凿一条河。

他俩就同行，到了乘船的时候，他把船凿了一个洞，穆萨说：“你把船凿了一个洞，要想使船里的人淹死吗？你确已做了一件悖谬的事！”

他俩又同行，后来遇见了一个儿童，他就把那个儿童杀了，穆萨说：“你怎么枉杀无辜的人呢？你确已做了一件凶恶的事了！”

主说：“事情就是这样。”你的主说：“这对于我是容易的。以前你不存在，而我创造了你。”

她抱著婴儿来见她的族人，他们说：“麦尔彦啊！你确已做了一件奇事。

当时他对他父亲说：“我的父亲啊！你为何崇拜那既不能听，又不能见，对于你又没有任何裨益的东西呢？

但悔罪而信道，且行善者除外，他们将入乐园，不受丝毫亏待。

人忘记了吗？他以前不是实有的，而我创造了他。

你们确已犯了一件重大罪行。为了那件罪行，

在复活日，我将设置公道的天秤，任何人都不受一点儿冤枉； 他的行为虽微如芥子，我也要报酬他；我足为清算者。

他说：“你们舍真主而崇拜那些对你们毫无祸福的东西吗？

众人啊！如果你们对于复活的事还在怀疑之中，那末，我确已创造了你们，先用泥土，继用一小滴精液，继用一块凝血，继用完整的和不完整的肉团，以便我对你们阐明（道理）。我使我所意欲的（胎儿）在子宫里安居一个定期，然后，我使你们出生为婴儿，然后（我让你们活着），以便你们达到成年。你们中有夭折的；有复返于最劣的年纪的，以便他在有知识之后，什么也不知道。你看大地是不毛的，当我使雨水降于大地的时候，它就活动和膨胀，而且生出各种美丽的植物。

当时我曾为易卜拉欣指定天房的地址，我说：“你不要以任何物配我，你应当为环行者、立正者、鞠躬者和叩头者，打扫我的房屋。

众人啊！有一个譬喻，你们倾听吧！你们舍真主而祈祷的（偶像）虽群策群力，绝不能创造一只苍蝇；如果苍蝇从他们的身上夺取一点东西，他们也不能把那点东西抢回来。祈祷者和被祈祷者，都是懦弱的！”

不信道者的善功恰如沙漠里的蜃景，口渴者以为那里有水，等到他来到有蜃景的地方时，没有发现什么，却发现真主在那里。真主就把他的帐目完全交给他，真主是清算神速的。

真主应许你们中信道而且行善者（说）：他必使他们代他治理大地，正如他使在他们之前逝去者代他治理大地一样；他必为他们而巩固他所为他们嘉纳的宗教；他必以真主代替他们的恐怖。他们崇拜我而不以任何物配我。此后，凡不信道的，都是罪人。

他们注定除真主外崇拜许多神灵，那些神灵不能创造任何物，他们自己却是被造的；他们不能主持自身的祸福，也不能主持（他人的）生死和复活。

人们啊！你们应当敬畏你们的主，你们应当畏惧那一日，父亲对于儿子毫无裨益，儿子对于父亲也毫无裨益。真主的应许，确是真实的。绝不要让今世的生活欺骗你们，绝不要让猾贼以真主的容忍欺骗你们。

如果你们要表白什么，或隐匿什么，（真主总是知道的），因为真主确是全知万物的。

难道我能舍他而敬事一些神灵吗？如果至仁主欲降灾于我，则他们的说情，对于我毫无裨益，他们也不能拯救我。

在那日，任何人不受丝毫枉曲；你们只依自己的行为而受报酬。

当他欲造化任何事物的时候，他的事情只是说声：”有”，它就有了。

不然，他们却舍真主而要若干说情者。你说：“即使他们没有任何主权，也不了解任何事理，他们也能说情吗？”

他们将说：“他们已回避我们了。其实，以前我们并未祈祷任何物。”真主这样使不信道者迷误。
