At length, when they came to a (lowly) valley of ants, one of the ants said: "O ye ants, get into your habitations, lest Solomon and his hosts crush you (under foot) without knowing it."

(The queen) said: "Ye chiefs! here is delivered to me - a letter worthy of respect.

She said: "Ye chiefs! advise me in (this) my affair: no affair have I decided except in your presence."

He said (to his own men): "Ye chiefs! which of you can bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?"

Pharaoh said: "O Chiefs! no god do I know for you but myself: therefore, O Haman! light me a (kiln to bake bricks) out of clay, and build me a lofty palace, that I may mount up to the god of Moses: but as far as I am concerned, I think (Moses) is a liar!"

O mankind! do your duty to your Lord, and fear (the coming of) a Day when no father can avail aught for his son, nor a son avail aught for his father. Verily, the promise of Allah is true: let not then this present life deceive you, nor let the chief Deceiver deceive you about Allah.

O Prophet! Fear Allah, and hearken not to the Unbelievers and the Hypocrites: verily Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom.

O ye who believe! Remember the Grace of Allah, (bestowed) on you, when there came down on you hosts (to overwhelm you): But We sent against them a hurricane and forces that ye saw not: but Allah sees (clearly) all that ye do.

O Prophet! Say to thy Consorts: "If it be that ye desire the life of this World, and its glitter,- then come! I will provide for your enjoyment and set you free in a handsome manner.

O ye who believe! Celebrate the praises of Allah, and do this often;

O Prophet! Truly We have sent thee as a Witness, a Bearer of Glad Tidings, and Warner,-

O ye who believe! When ye marry believing women, and then divorce them before ye have touched them, no period of 'Iddat have ye to count in respect of them: so give them a present. And set them free in a handsome manner.

O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee; and daughters of thy paternal uncles and aunts, and daughters of thy maternal uncles and aunts, who migrated (from Makka) with thee; and any believing woman who dedicates her soul to the Prophet if the Prophet wishes to wed her;- this only for thee, and not for the Believers (at large); We know what We have appointed for them as to their wives and the captives whom their right hands possess;- in order that there should be no difficulty for thee. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

O ye who believe! Enter not the Prophet's houses,- until leave is given you,- for a meal, (and then) not (so early as) to wait for its preparation: but when ye are invited, enter; and when ye have taken your meal, disperse, without seeking familiar talk. Such (behaviour) annoys the Prophet: he is ashamed to dismiss you, but Allah is not ashamed (to tell you) the truth. And when ye ask (his ladies) for anything ye want, ask them from before a screen: that makes for greater purity for your hearts and for theirs. Nor is it right for you that ye should annoy Allah's Messenger, or that ye should marry his widows after him at any time. Truly such a thing is in Allah's sight an enormity.

Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect.

O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women, that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad): that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

O ye who believe! Be ye not like those who vexed and insulted Moses, but Allah cleared him of the (calumnies) they had uttered: and he was honourable in Allah's sight.

O ye who believe! Fear Allah, and (always) say a word directed to the Right:

O men! Call to mind the grace of Allah unto you! is there a creator, other than Allah, to give you sustenance from heaven or earth? There is no god but He: how then are ye deluded away from the Truth?

O men! Certainly the promise of Allah is true. Let not then this present life deceive you, nor let the Chief Deceiver deceive you about Allah.

O ye men! It is ye that have need of Allah: but Allah is the One Free of all wants, worthy of all praise.

"And O ye in sin! Get ye apart this Day!

Say: "Is it some one other than Allah that ye order me to worship, O ye ignorant ones?"

O ye who believe! If ye will aid (the cause of) Allah, He will aid you, and plant your feet firmly.

O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the messenger, and make not vain your deeds!

O Ye who believe! Put not yourselves forward before Allah and His Messenger; but fear Allah: for Allah is He Who hears and knows all things.

O ye who believe! Raise not your voices above the voice of the Prophet, nor speak aloud to him in talk, as ye may speak aloud to one another, lest your deeds become vain and ye perceive not.

O ye who believe! If a wicked person comes to you with any news, ascertain the truth, lest ye harm people unwittingly, and afterwards become full of repentance for what ye have done.

O ye who believe! Let not some men among you laugh at others: It may be that the (latter) are better than the (former): Nor let some women laugh at others: It may be that the (latter are better than the (former): Nor defame nor be sarcastic to each other, nor call each other by (offensive) nicknames: Ill-seeming is a name connoting wickedness, (to be used of one) after he has believed: And those who do not desist are (indeed) doing wrong.

O ye who believe! Avoid suspicion as much (as possible): for suspicion in some cases is a sin: And spy not on each other behind their backs. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Nay, ye would abhor it...But fear Allah: For Allah is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.

等到他们来到蚁谷的时候，一个母蚁说：“蚂蚁们啊！快进自己的住处去，以免被素莱曼和他的大军不知不觉地践踏。”

她说：“臣仆们啊！我接到一封贵重的信。

她说：“臣仆们啊！关于我的事，望你们出个意见。我从来不决定任何一件事，直到你们在我面前。”

他说：“臣仆们啊！在他们来归顺我之前，你们中有谁能把她的宝座拿来给我呢？”

法老说：“臣仆们啊！我不知道除我外还有别的神灵。哈曼啊！你应当替我烧砖，然后替我建筑一座高楼，也许我得窥见穆萨的主宰。我的确猜想他是一个说谎者。”

人们啊！你们应当敬畏你们的主，你们应当畏惧那一日，父亲对于儿子毫无裨益，儿子对于父亲也毫无裨益。真主的应许，确是真实的。绝不要让今世的生活欺骗你们，绝不要让猾贼以真主的容忍欺骗你们。

先知啊！你应当敬畏真主，你不要顺从不信者和伪信者，真主确是全知的，确是至睿的。

信道的人们啊！你们应当记忆真主所赐你们的恩典。当时，敌军来攻你们，我就对他们派遣暴风和你们所未见的天兵。真主是明察你们的行为的。

先知啊！你对你的众妻说：“如果你们欲得今世的生活与其装饰，那末，你们来吧！我将以离仪馈赠你们，我任你们依礼而离去。

信士们啊！你们应当常常记念真主，

先知啊！我确已派遣你为见证，为报喜者，为警告者，

信道的人们啊！你们若娶信道的妇女，然后在交接前休了她们，那末，她们不该为你们而守限期，所以你们应当使她享受，应当让她们依礼而离去。

先知啊！我确已准你享受你给予聘礼的妻子，你的奴婢，即真主以为你的战利品的，你的从父的女儿．你的姑母的女儿．你的舅父的女儿．你的姨母的女儿．她们是同你一道迁居的。信道的妇女，若将自身赠与先知，若先知愿意娶她，这是特许你的，信士们不得援例--我知道我为他们的妻子与奴婢而对他们做出的规定--以免你感受困难。真主是至赦的，是至慈的。

信士们啊！你们不要进先知的家，除非邀请你们去吃饭的时候；你们不要进去等饭熟，当请你去的时候才进去；既吃之后就当告退，不要留恋闲话，因为那会使先知感到为难，他不好意思辞退你们。真主是不耻于揭示真理的。你们向先知的妻子们索取任何物品的时候，应当在帷幕外索取，那对于你们的心和她们的心是更清白的。你们不宜使使者为难，在他之后，永不宜娶他的妻子，因为在真主看来，那是一件大罪。

真主的确怜悯先知，他的天神们的确为他祝福。信士们啊！你们应当为他祝福，应当祝他平安！

先知啊！你应当对你的妻子、你的女儿和信士们的妇女说：她们应当用外衣蒙着自己的身体。这样做最容易使人认识她们，而不受侵犯。真主是至赦的，是至慈的。

信士们啊！你们不要仿效冤诬穆萨的人们。真主已为他洗雪冤诬，据真主看来，他是有面子的。

信士们啊！你们应当敬畏真主，应当说正话。

人们啊！你们应当铭记真主所赐你们的恩惠，除真主外，还有什么创造者能从天上地下供给你们吗？除他外，绝无应受崇拜的，你们怎么如此悖谬呢？

人们啊！真主的应许，确是真实的，所以绝不要让今世的生活欺骗你们，绝不要让猾贼以真主的优容欺骗你们。

人们啊！你们才是需求真主的，真主确是无求的，确是可颂的。

”犯罪的人们呀！今日你们当退避到一边去。

你说：“无知的人啊！难道你们教我崇拜真主以外的神灵吗？”

信道的人们啊！如果你们相助真主，他就相助你们，并使你们的脚步稳固。

信道的人们啊！你们应当服从真主，应当服从使者，你们不要使你们的善功无效。

信道的人们啊！你们在真主和使者的面前不要先做任何一件事，你们应当敬畏真主；真主确是全聪的，确是全知的。

信道的人们啊！不要使你们的声音高过先知的声音，不要对他高声说话，犹如你们彼此间高声说话那样，以免你们的善功变为无效，而你们是不知不觉的。

信道的人们啊！如果一个恶人报告你们一个消息，你们应当弄清楚，以免你们无知地伤害他人，到头来悔恨自己的行为。

信道的人们啊！你们中的男子，不要互相嘲笑；被嘲笑者，或许胜于嘲笑者。你们中的女子，也不要互相嘲笑；被嘲笑者，或许胜于嘲笑者。你们不要互相诽谤，不要以诨名相称；信道后再以诨名相称，这称呼真恶劣！未悔罪者，是不义的。

信道的人们啊！你们应当远离许多猜疑；有些猜疑，确是罪过。你们不要互相侦探，不要互相背毁，难道你们中有人喜欢吃他的已死的教胞的肉吗？你们是厌恶那种行为的。你们应当敬畏真主，真主确是至赦的，确是至慈的。
