"But thou dost wreak thy vengeance on us simply because we believed in the Signs of our Lord when they reached us! Our Lord! pour out on us patience and constancy, and take our souls unto thee as Muslims (who bow to thy will)!

Moses said: "O my people! If ye do (really) believe in Allah, then in Him put your trust if ye submit (your will to His)."

Again and again will those who disbelieve, wish that they had bowed (to Allah's will) in Islam.

"'Be ye not arrogant against me, but come to me in submission (to the true Religion).'"

He said (to his own men): "Ye chiefs! which of you can bring me her throne before they come to me in submission?"

So when she arrived, she was asked, "Is this thy throne?" She said, "It was just like this; and knowledge was bestowed on us in advance of this, and we have submitted to Allah (in Islam)."

And when it is recited to them, they say: "We believe therein, for it is the Truth from our Lord: indeed we have been Muslims (bowing to Allah's Will) from before this.

(Being) those who have believed in Our Signs and bowed (their wills to Ours) in Islam.

你无非是责备我们信仰了我们的主所降示的迹象。我们的主啊！求你把坚忍倾注在我们心中，求你在我们顺服的情状下使我们死去。”

穆萨说：“我的宗族啊！如果你们信仰真主，你们就应当只信赖他，如果你们是归顺的。”

不信道者或许要希望他们原是归顺的。

你们不要对我傲慢无礼，你们应当来归顺我。'”

他说：“臣仆们啊！在他们来归顺我之前，你们中有谁能把她的宝座拿来给我呢？”

当她来到的时候，有人说：“你的宝座象这样吗？”她说：“这好象是我的宝座。”在她之前，我们已获得知识，我们已是归顺的。

当有人对他们宣读这真言的时候，他们说：“我们确信这真言，它确是从我们的主降示的，在降示它之前，我们确是归顺的。”

他们曾归信我的迹象，他们原是顺服的。
