Say: "O men! I am sent unto you all, as the Messenger of Allah, to Whom belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth: there is no god but He: it is He That giveth both life and death. So believe in Allah and His Messenger, the Unlettered Prophet, who believeth in Allah and His words: follow him that (so) ye may be guided."

Allah turned with favour to the Prophet, the Muhajirs, and the Ansar,- who followed him in a time of distress, after that the hearts of a part of them had nearly swerved (from duty); but He turned to them (also): for He is unto them Most Kind, Most Merciful.

O Consorts of the Prophet! If any of you were guilty of evident unseemly conduct, the Punishment would be doubled to her, and that is easy for Allah.

O Consorts of the Prophet! Ye are not like any of the (other) women: if ye do fear (Allah), be not too complacent of speech, lest one in whose heart is a disease should be moved with desire: but speak ye a speech (that is) just.

There can be no difficulty to the Prophet in what Allah has indicated to him as a duty. It was the practice (approved) of Allah amongst those of old that have passed away. And the command of Allah is a decree determined.

O ye who believe! Enter not the Prophet's houses,- until leave is given you,- for a meal, (and then) not (so early as) to wait for its preparation: but when ye are invited, enter; and when ye have taken your meal, disperse, without seeking familiar talk. Such (behaviour) annoys the Prophet: he is ashamed to dismiss you, but Allah is not ashamed (to tell you) the truth. And when ye ask (his ladies) for anything ye want, ask them from before a screen: that makes for greater purity for your hearts and for theirs. Nor is it right for you that ye should annoy Allah's Messenger, or that ye should marry his widows after him at any time. Truly such a thing is in Allah's sight an enormity.

Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect.

O ye who believe! Raise not your voices above the voice of the Prophet, nor speak aloud to him in talk, as ye may speak aloud to one another, lest your deeds become vain and ye perceive not.

你说：“众人啊！我确是真主的使者，他派我来教化你们全体；天地的主权只是真主的，除他之外，绝无应受崇拜的。他能使死者生，能使生者死，故你们应当信仰真主和他的使者，那个使者是信仰真主及其言辞的，但不识字的先知--你们应当顺从他，以便你们遵循正道。”

真主确已允许先知以及在困难时刻追随他的迁士们和辅士们悔过。当时，他们中一部分人的心几乎偏邪之后，真主允许他们悔过，真主对他们确是至爱的，确是至慈的。

先知的妻子们啊！你们中谁作了明显的丑事者，将受加倍的刑罚，这事对于真主是容易的。

先知的妻子们啊！你们不象别的任何妇女，如果你们敬畏真主，就不要说温柔的话，以免心中有病的人，贪恋你们；你们应当说庄重的话。

先知对于真主所许他的事，不宜感觉烦难。真主曾以此为古人的常道。真主的命令是不可变更的定案。

信士们啊！你们不要进先知的家，除非邀请你们去吃饭的时候；你们不要进去等饭熟，当请你去的时候才进去；既吃之后就当告退，不要留恋闲话，因为那会使先知感到为难，他不好意思辞退你们。真主是不耻于揭示真理的。你们向先知的妻子们索取任何物品的时候，应当在帷幕外索取，那对于你们的心和她们的心是更清白的。你们不宜使使者为难，在他之后，永不宜娶他的妻子，因为在真主看来，那是一件大罪。

真主的确怜悯先知，他的天神们的确为他祝福。信士们啊！你们应当为他祝福，应当祝他平安！

信道的人们啊！不要使你们的声音高过先知的声音，不要对他高声说话，犹如你们彼此间高声说话那样，以免你们的善功变为无效，而你们是不知不觉的。
