Say: "Who is it that can screen you from Allah if it be His wish to give you punishment or to give you Mercy?" Nor will they find for themselves, besides Allah, any protector or helper.

O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee; and daughters of thy paternal uncles and aunts, and daughters of thy maternal uncles and aunts, who migrated (from Makka) with thee; and any believing woman who dedicates her soul to the Prophet if the Prophet wishes to wed her;- this only for thee, and not for the Believers (at large); We know what We have appointed for them as to their wives and the captives whom their right hands possess;- in order that there should be no difficulty for thee. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Say: "Call upon other (gods) whom ye fancy, besides Allah: They have no power,- not the weight of an atom,- in the heavens or on earth: No (sort of) share have they therein, nor is any of them a helper to Allah.

Say: "Have ye seen (these) 'Partners' of yours whom ye call upon besides Allah? Show Me what it is they have created in the (wide) earth. Or have they a share in the heavens? Or have We given them a Book from which they (can derive) clear (evidence)?- Nay, the wrong-doers promise each other nothing but delusions.

Yet they take (for worship) gods other than Allah, (hoping) that they might be helped!

"Besides Allah, and lead them to the Way to the (Fierce) Fire!

If indeed thou ask them who it is that created the heavens and the earth, they would be sure to say, "Allah". Say: "See ye then? the things that ye invoke besides Allah,- can they, if Allah wills some Penalty for me, remove His Penalty?- Or if He wills some Grace for me, can they keep back his Grace?" Say: "Sufficient is Allah for me! In Him trust those who put their trust."

What! Do they take for intercessors others besides Allah? Say: "Even if they have no power whatever and no intelligence?"

Say: "I have been forbidden to invoke those whom ye invoke besides Allah,- seeing that the Clear Signs have come to me from my Lord; and I have been commanded to bow (in Islam) to the Lord of the Worlds."

"In derogation of Allah?" They will reply: "They have left us in the lurch: Nay, we invoked not, of old, anything (that had real existence)." Thus does Allah leave the Unbelievers to stray.

Nor can ye frustrate (aught), (fleeing) through the earth; nor have ye, besides Allah, any one to protect or to help.

And no protectors have they to help them, other than Allah. And for any whom Allah leaves to stray, there is no way (to the Goal).

And question thou our messengers whom We sent before thee; did We appoint any deities other than (Allah) Most Gracious, to be worshipped?

In front of them is Hell: and of no profit to them is anything they may have earned, nor any protectors they may have taken to themselves besides Allah: for them is a tremendous Penalty.

Say: "Do ye see what it is ye invoke besides Allah? Show me what it is they have created on earth, or have they a share in the heavens bring me a book (revealed) before this, or any remnant of knowledge (ye may have), if ye are telling the truth!

And who is more astray than one who invokes besides Allah, such as will not answer him to the Day of Judgment, and who (in fact) are unconscious of their call (to them)?

Why then was no help forthcoming to them from those whom they worshipped as gods, besides Allah, as a means of access (to Allah)? Nay, they left them in the lurch: but that was their falsehood and their invention.

Truly did Allah fulfil the vision for His Messenger: ye shall enter the Sacred Mosque, if Allah wills, with minds secure, heads shaved, hair cut short, and without fear. For He knew what ye knew not, and He granted, besides this, a speedy victory.

No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare.

There is for you an excellent example (to follow) in Abraham and those with him, when they said to their people: "We are clear of you and of whatever ye worship besides Allah: we have rejected you, and there has arisen, between us and you, enmity and hatred for ever,- unless ye believe in Allah and Him alone": But not when Abraham said to his father: "I will pray for forgiveness for thee, though I have no power (to get) aught on thy behalf from Allah." (They prayed): "Our Lord! in Thee do we trust, and to Thee do we turn in repentance: to Thee is (our) Final Goal.

Say: "O ye that stand on Judaism! If ye think that ye are friends to Allah, to the exclusion of (other) men, then express your desire for Death, if ye are truthful!"

Nay, who is there that can help you, (even as) an army, besides (Allah) Most Merciful? In nothing but delusion are the Unbelievers.

Because of their sins they were drowned (in the flood), and were made to enter the Fire (of Punishment): and they found- in lieu of Allah- none to help them.

你说：“如果真主欲降祸于你们，谁能反抗真主而保护你们呢？如果他欲降福于你们，（谁能干涉他）呢？”除真主外，他们不能发现任何监护者和任何援助者。

先知啊！我确已准你享受你给予聘礼的妻子，你的奴婢，即真主以为你的战利品的，你的从父的女儿．你的姑母的女儿．你的舅父的女儿．你的姨母的女儿．她们是同你一道迁居的。信道的妇女，若将自身赠与先知，若先知愿意娶她，这是特许你的，信士们不得援例--我知道我为他们的妻子与奴婢而对他们做出的规定--以免你感受困难。真主是至赦的，是至慈的。

你说：“你们舍真主而认作神灵的，你们祈祷他们吧：他们不能管理天地间微尘之重的事物，他们丝毫不能参与天地的造化。真主不以他们中的任何一个为助手。”

你说：“你们告诉我吧，你们舍真主而祈祷的那些配主，怎么应受崇拜呢？你们告诉我吧！他们曾独自创造了大地的哪一部分呢？还是他们曾与真主共同创造诸天呢？还是真主曾授予他们一本经典，而他们是依据那本经典中的许多明证呢？”不然，不义者仅以欺骗互相应许。

他们舍真主而敬事许多神灵，希望自己获得援助。

然后指示他们火狱的道路，

如果你问他们：”谁创造了天地？”他们必定说：“真主。”你说：“你们告诉我吧，你们舍真主而祈祷的那些偶像，如果真主欲加害于我，他们能解除他的伤害吗？如果真主欲施恩于我，他们能扣留他的恩惠吗？”你说：“真主是使我满足的，信任者只信任真主。”

不然，他们却舍真主而要若干说情者。你说：“即使他们没有任何主权，也不了解任何事理，他们也能说情吗？”

你说：“当许多明证从我的主来临我的时候，我确已奉到禁令，不准我崇拜你们舍真主而崇拜的；我确已奉到命令，叫我顺服全世界的主。”

他们将说：“他们已回避我们了。其实，以前我们并未祈祷任何物。”真主这样使不信道者迷误。

你们在大地上绝不能逃避天谴，除真主外，你们没有任何保护者和援助者。

除真主外，他们将没有任何朋友援助他们。真主使谁迷误，谁没有道路。

你问问在你之前所派遣的众使者，我曾否在至仁主之外指定许多神灵供人崇拜。

他们的身后有火狱，他们所获得的，对于他们，毫无裨益；他们舍真主而认为保护神的，对于他们，也毫无裨益；他们将受痛苦的刑罚。

你说：“你们告诉我吧！你们舍真主而祈祷的那些偶像怎么应受崇拜呢？你们告诉我吧！他们曾独自创造了大地的哪一部分呢？还是他们曾与真主共同创造诸天呢？你们昭示我此经之前的一本天经，或残存的古学吧，如果你们是说实话的。”

他们舍真主而祈祷那些到复活日也不会答应他们，而且忽视他们的祈祷的偶像，有谁比他们更迷误呢？

他们舍真主而奉为神灵，以求亲近真主的偶像，怎么不相助他们呢！不然，他们已回避他们了。那是他们的妄言，也是他们所伪造的。

真主确已昭示他的使者包含真理的梦兆，如果真主意欲，你们必定平安地进入禁寺，有的人剃头，有的人剪短发，你们将永不恐惧。真主知道你们所未知道的，故在那件事之前，先有一次临近的胜利。

除真主外，没有能揭示它的。

易卜拉欣和他的教徒，是你们的好模范。当时，他们曾对自己的宗族说：“我们对於你们，和你们舍真主而崇拜的，确是无干的，我们不承认你们。我们彼此间的仇恨，永远存在。直到你们只信仰真主。”但易卜拉欣对他父亲所说的话，不可做你们的模范。他曾说：“我必定为你求饶，我不能为你抵御真主的一些刑罚。”他们曾说：“我们的主啊！我们只信托你，我们只依归你，只有你是最後的归宿。

你说：“信奉犹太教的人们啊！如果你们自称是真主的选民，而排斥众人，那你们就希望早死吧，如果你们是诚实者。”

除了真主援助你们外，还有谁能做你们的援军呢？你们只陷於自欺之中。

他们因为自己的罪恶而被淹死，遂堕入火狱，故他们没有获得援助的人们来抵御真主。
