So he said: "Embark ye on the Ark, In the name of Allah, whether it move or be at rest! For my Lord is, be sure, Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful!"

"But ask forgiveness of your Lord, and turn unto Him (in repentance): For my Lord is indeed full of mercy and loving-kindness."

"Nor do I absolve my own self (of blame): the (human) soul is certainly prone to evil, unless my Lord do bestow His Mercy: but surely my Lord is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful."

"O my Lord! they have indeed led astray many among mankind; He then who follows my (ways) is of me, and he that disobeys me,- but Thou art indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

And they carry your heavy loads to lands that ye could not (otherwise) reach except with souls distressed: for your Lord is indeed Most Kind, Most Merciful,

If ye would count up the favours of Allah, never would ye be able to number them: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Or that He may not call them to account by a process of slow wastage - for thy Lord is indeed full of kindness and mercy.

But verily thy Lord,- to those who leave their homes after trials and persecutions,- and who thereafter strive and fight for the faith and patiently persevere,- Thy Lord, after all this is oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

He has only forbidden you dead meat, and blood, and the flesh of swine, and any (food) over which the name of other than Allah has been invoked. But if one is forced by necessity, without wilful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits,- then Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

But verily thy Lord,- to those who do wrong in ignorance, but who thereafter repent and make amends,- thy Lord, after all this, is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Seest thou not that Allah has made subject to you (men) all that is on the earth, and the ships that sail through the sea by His Command? He withholds the sky (rain) from failing on the earth except by His leave: for Allah is Most Kind and Most Merciful to man.

Unless they repent thereafter and mend (their conduct); for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Were it not for the grace and mercy of Allah on you, and that Allah is full of kindness and mercy, (ye would be ruined indeed).

Let not those among you who are endued with grace and amplitude of means resolve by oath against helping their kinsmen, those in want, and those who have left their homes in Allah's cause: let them forgive and overlook, do you not wish that Allah should forgive you? For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Let those who find not the wherewithal for marriage keep themselves chaste, until Allah gives them means out of His grace. And if any of your slaves ask for a deed in writing (to enable them to earn their freedom for a certain sum), give them such a deed if ye know any good in them: yea, give them something yourselves out of the means which Allah has given to you. But force not your maids to prostitution when they desire chastity, in order that ye may make a gain in the goods of this life. But if anyone compels them, yet, after such compulsion, is Allah, Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful (to them),

Only those are believers, who believe in Allah and His Messenger: when they are with him on a matter requiring collective action, they do not depart until they have asked for his leave; those who ask for thy leave are those who believe in Allah and His Messenger; so when they ask for thy leave, for some business of theirs, give leave to those of them whom thou wilt, and ask Allah for their forgiveness: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

"But if any have done wrong and have thereafter substituted good to take the place of evil, truly, I am Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

If only they had patience until thou couldst come out to them, it would be best for them: but Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

O ye who believe! Avoid suspicion as much (as possible): for suspicion in some cases is a sin: And spy not on each other behind their backs. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Nay, ye would abhor it...But fear Allah: For Allah is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.

The desert Arabs say, "We believe." Say, "Ye have no faith; but ye (only)say, 'We have submitted our wills to Allah,' For not yet has Faith entered your hearts. But if ye obey Allah and His Messenger, He will not belittle aught of your deeds: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

He is the One Who sends to His Servant Manifest Signs, that He may lead you from the depths of Darkness into the Light and verily Allah is to you most kind and Merciful.

O ye that believe! Fear Allah, and believe in His Messenger, and He will bestow on you a double portion of His Mercy: He will provide for you a Light by which ye shall walk (straight in your path), and He will forgive you (your past): for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

O ye who believe! When ye consult the Messenger in private, spend something in charity before your private consultation. That will be best for you, and most conducive to purity (of conduct). But if ye find not (the wherewithal), Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

And those who came after them say: "Our Lord! Forgive us, and our brethren who came before us into the Faith, and leave not, in our hearts, rancour (or sense of injury) against those who have believed. Our Lord! Thou art indeed Full of Kindness, Most Merciful."

It may be that Allah will grant love (and friendship) between you and those whom ye (now) hold as enemies. For Allah has power (over all things); And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

O Prophet! When believing women come to thee to take the oath of fealty to thee, that they will not associate in worship any other thing whatever with Allah, that they will not steal, that they will not commit adultery (or fornication), that they will not kill their children, that they will not utter slander, intentionally forging falsehood, and that they will not disobey thee in any just matter,- then do thou receive their fealty, and pray to Allah for the forgiveness (of their sins): for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

O ye who believe! Truly, among your wives and your children are (some that are) enemies to yourselves: so beware of them! But if ye forgive and overlook, and cover up (their faults), verily Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

O Prophet! Why holdest thou to be forbidden that which Allah has made lawful to thee? Thou seekest to please thy consorts. But Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Thy Lord doth know that thou standest forth (to prayer) nigh two-thirds of the night, or half the night, or a third of the night, and so doth a party of those with thee. But Allah doth appoint night and day in due measure He knoweth that ye are unable to keep count thereof. So He hath turned to you (in mercy): read ye, therefore, of the Qur'an as much as may be easy for you. He knoweth that there may be (some) among you in ill-health; others travelling through the land, seeking of Allah's bounty; yet others fighting in Allah's Cause, read ye, therefore, as much of the Qur'an as may be easy (for you); and establish regular Prayer and give regular Charity; and loan to Allah a Beautiful Loan. And whatever good ye send forth for your souls ye shall find it in Allah's Presence,- yea, better and greater, in Reward and seek ye the Grace of Allah: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

他说：“你们上船去吧！这只船的航行和停舶都是奉真主之名的。我的主确是至赦的，确是至慈的。”

你们应当向你们的主求饶，然后，向他悔过，我的主确是至慈的，确是至爱的。”

（他说）：“我不自称清白；人性的确是怂恿人作恶的，除非我的主所怜悯的人。我的主确是至赦的，确是至慈的。”

我的主啊！偶像们确已使许多人迷误。谁顺从我，他确是我的同道；谁违抗我，那末，你是至赦的，是至慈的。

牲畜把你们的货物驮运到你们须经困难才能到达的地方去。你们的主确是至仁的，确是至慈的。

如果你们要计算真主的恩惠，你们是无法统计的。真主确是至赦的，确是至慈的。

或逐渐惩治他们，因为你们的主确是至爱的，确是至慈的。

然后，你的主对于被害之后迁居，然后奋斗，而且坚忍者，你的主在那之后确是至赦的，确是至慈的。

他只禁止你们吃自死物、血液、猪肉，以及诵非真主之名而屠宰者。但为势所迫，非出自愿，且不过分者，那末，真主确是至赦的，确是至慈的。

然后，你的主对于无知而作恶，以后又悔过自新的人，确是至赦的，确是至慈的。

难道你不知道吗？真主为你们制服大地上所有的事物，以及奉他的命而在海上航行的船舶，他维持着天以免坠落在地上，除非获得他许可。真主对于世人确是至爱的，确是至慈的。

以后悔过自新者除外，因为真主确是至赦的，确是至慈的。

若无真主所赐你们的恩惠和仁慈，如果真主不是仁爱的，不是至慈的，（他早就惩罚你们了）。

你们中有恩惠和财富者不可发誓（说）：永不周济亲戚、贫民及为主道而迁居者。他们应当恕饶，应当原谅。难道你们不愿真主赦宥你们吗？ 真主是至赦的，是至慈的。

不能娶妻者，叫他们极力保持贞操，直到真主以他的恩惠而使他们富足。你们的奴婢中要求订约赎身者，如果你们知道他们是忠实的，你们就应当与他们订约，并且把真主赐予你们的财产的一部分给他们。如果你们的婢女，要保守贞操，你们就不要为了今世生活的浮利而强迫她们卖淫。如果有人强迫她们，那末，在被迫之后，真主确是至赦的，确是至慈的。

信士只是信仰真主及其使者的人。当他们为任何要事而与使者集会的时候，他们不退席，直到他们向他请求允许。向你请示者，确是信仰真主及其使者的。当他们因私事而向你请示的时候，你可以允许你所意欲者，你当为他们向真主求饶。真主确是至赦的，确是至慈的。

既行不义，然后改过从善者除外，我（对于他）确是至赦的，确是至慈的。

假若他们忍耐，直到你出去会他们，那对于他们是更好的。真主是至赦的，是至慈的。

信道的人们啊！你们应当远离许多猜疑；有些猜疑，确是罪过。你们不要互相侦探，不要互相背毁，难道你们中有人喜欢吃他的已死的教胞的肉吗？你们是厌恶那种行为的。你们应当敬畏真主，真主确是至赦的，确是至慈的。

游牧人们曾说：“我们已信道了。”你说：“你们没有信道，虽然你们可以说：‘我们已归顺了'，但正信还没有入你们的心。如果你们服从真主和使者，他不减少你们的善功一丝毫。真主确是至赦的，确是至慈的。”

他降示他的仆人许多明证，以便他使你们从重重黑暗走入光明。真主对于你们，确是仁爱的，确是至慈的。

信仰尔撒的人们啊！你们应当敬畏真主，应当信仰他的使者，他就把他的恩惠加倍赏赐你们，他就为你们创造一道光明；你们将借那道光明而行走，他就赦宥你们。真主是至赦的，是至慈的。

信道的人们啊！你们应当先有所施舍，然后才与使者密谈，这对於你们是更高尚的，是更纯洁的。如果你们无物可施，那麽，不施舍也无罪，因为真主确是至赦的，确是至慈的。

在他们之后到来的人们说：“我们的主啊！求你赦宥我们，并赦宥在我们之前已经信道的教胞们，求你不要让我们怨恨在我们之前已经信道的人们，我们的主啊！你确是仁爱的，确是至慈的。”

真主或许在你们和你们所仇视的人之间造化友谊，真主是全能的；真主是至赦的，是至慈的。

先知啊！如果信女们到你面前来与你誓约：她们不以任何物配真主，不偷盗，不通奸，不杀自己的儿女，不以别人的儿子冒充丈夫的儿子，不违背你的合理的命令，那末，你当与她们誓约，你当为她们向真主告饶。真主确是至赦的，确是至慈的。

信道的人们啊！你们的妻子儿女，有一部份确是你们的敌人，故你们当谨防他们。如果你们恕饶他们，原谅他们，赦宥他们，（真主就赦宥你们），因为真主确是至赦的，确是至慈的。

先知啊！真主准许你享受的，你为什么加以禁戒，以便向你的妻子们讨好呢？真主是至赦的，是至慈的。

你的主的确知道你礼拜的时间，不到全夜的三分之二，或二分之一，或三分之一。你的同道中，有一群人也是那样做的。真主预定黑夜和白昼的长度，他知道你们不能计算它，故赦宥你们。你们应当诵《古兰经》中简易的（文辞）。他知道你们中将有一些病人，和别的许多人，或旅行四方，寻求真主的恩惠；或为真主而作战，故你们应当讽诵其中简易的（文辞）。你们应当谨守拜功，完纳天课，并以善债借给真主。你们为自己做什么善事，都将在真主那里得到更好更大的报酬。你们应当向真主求饶，真主是至赦的，是至慈的。
