Nor take life - which Allah has made sacred - except for just cause. And if anyone is slain wrongfully, we have given his heir authority (to demand qisas or to forgive): but let him not exceed bounds in the matter of taking life; for he is helped (by the Law).

We relate to thee their story in truth: they were youths who believed in their Lord, and We advanced them in guidance:

Nay, We hurl the Truth against falsehood, and it knocks out its brain, and behold, falsehood doth perish! Ah! woe be to you for the (false) things ye ascribe (to Us).

They said, "Have you brought us the Truth, or are you one of those who jest?"

Say: "O my Lord! judge Thou in truth!" "Our Lord Most Gracious is the One Whose assistance should be sought against the blasphemies ye utter!"

Then the Blast overtook them with justice, and We made them as rubbish of dead leaves (floating on the stream of Time)! So away with the people who do wrong!

On no soul do We place a burden greater than it can bear: before Us is a record which clearly shows the truth: they will never be wronged.

Or do they say, "He is possessed"? Nay, he has brought them the Truth, but most of them hate the Truth.

We have sent them the Truth: but they indeed practise falsehood!

And no question do they bring to thee but We reveal to thee the truth and the best explanation (thereof).

Those who invoke not, with Allah, any other god, nor slay such life as Allah has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment.

We rehearse to thee some of the story of Moses and Pharaoh in Truth, for people who believe.

Allah created the heavens and the earth in true (proportions): verily in that is a Sign for those who believe.

And who does more wrong than he who invents a lie against Allah or rejects the Truth when it reaches him? Is there not a home in Hell for those who reject Faith?

Do they not reflect in their own minds? Not but for just ends and for a term appointed, did Allah create the heavens and the earth, and all between them: yet are there truly many among men who deny the meeting with their Lord (at the Resurrection)!

Say: "Our Lord will gather us together and will in the end decide the matter between us (and you) in truth and justice: and He is the one to decide, the One Who knows all."

Say: "Verily my Lord doth cast the (mantle of) Truth (over His servants),- He that has full knowledge of (all) that is hidden."

Verily We have sent thee in truth, as a bearer of glad tidings, and as a warner: and there never was a people, without a warner having lived among them (in the past).

Nay! he has come with the (very) Truth, and he confirms (the Message of) the messengers (before him).

When they entered the presence of David, and he was terrified of them, they said: "Fear not: we are two disputants, one of whom has wronged the other: Decide now between us with truth, and treat us not with injustice, but guide us to the even Path..

O David! We did indeed make thee a vicegerent on earth: so judge thou between men in truth (and justice): Nor follow thou the lusts (of thy heart), for they will mislead thee from the Path of Allah: for those who wander astray from the Path of Allah, is a Penalty Grievous, for that they forget the Day of Account.

Verily it is We Who have revealed the Book to thee in Truth: so serve Allah, offering Him sincere devotion.

He created the heavens and the earth in true (proportions): He makes the Night overlap the Day, and the Day overlap the Night: He has subjected the sun and the moon (to His law): Each one follows a course for a time appointed. Is not He the Exalted in Power - He Who forgives again and again?

Verily We have revealed the Book to thee in Truth, for (instructing) mankind. He, then, that receives guidance benefits his own soul: but he that strays injures his own soul. Nor art thou set over them to dispose of their affairs.

And the Earth will shine with the Glory of its Lord: the Record (of Deeds) will be placed (open); the prophets and the witnesses will be brought forward and a just decision pronounced between them; and they will not be wronged (in the least).

And thou wilt see the angels surrounding the Throne (Divine) on all sides, singing Glory and Praise to their Lord. The Decision between them (at Judgment) will be in (perfect) justice, and the cry (on all sides) will be, "Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds!"

And Allah will judge with (justice and) Truth: but those whom (men) invoke besides Him, will not (be in a position) to judge at all. Verily it is Allah (alone) Who hears and sees (all things).

Now, when he came to them in Truth, from Us, they said, "Slay the sons of those who believe with him, and keep alive their females," but the plots of Unbelievers (end) in nothing but errors (and delusions)!...

We did aforetime send messengers before thee: of them there are some whose story We have related to thee, and some whose story We have not related to thee. It was not (possible) for any messenger to bring a sign except by the leave of Allah: but when the Command of Allah issued, the matter was decided in truth and justice, and there perished, there and then those who stood on Falsehoods.

It is Allah Who has sent down the Book in Truth, and the Balance (by which to weigh conduct). And what will make thee realise that perhaps the Hour is close at hand?

你们不要违背真主的禁令而杀人，除非因为正义。无辜而被杀者，我已把权柄授予他的亲戚，但他们不可滥杀，他们确是受援助的。

我把他们的故事，诚实地告诉你，他们是几个青年，他们信仰他们的主，而我给他们增加正道。

我以真理投掷谬妄，而击破其脑袋，谬妄瞬时消亡。悲哉你们！由于你们对真主妄加描述。

他们说：“你是对我们说正经话呢？还是和我们开玩笑呢？”

他说：“我的主啊！求你秉公判决。我们的主是至仁的主， 对于你们所用以描述他的言语他是被求助的。”

刑罚公道地袭击了他们，而我使他们变成了废料，不义的民众已遭毁灭了。

我只依各人的能力而加以责成。我有一本书宣言真理，他们是不被亏待的。

还是他们说他有疯病呢？--不然，他以真理昭示他们， 但他们大半是厌恶真理的。

你说：“你们怎么被人迷惑呢？”不然，我以真理昭示他们， 而他们确是说谎的。

他们每向你提出一种非难，我就启示你真理和更美满的解释。

他们只祈祷真主，不祈祷别的神灵；他们不违背真主的禁令而杀人， 除非由于偿命；他们也不通奸。谁犯此类（罪恶），谁遭惩罚；

我本着真理，为信道的民众而对你叙述穆萨和法老的事迹。

真主本真理而创造天地，对于信道的人，此中确有一种迹象。

假借真主的名义而造谣，或否认已降临的真理者，谁比他还不义呢？难道火狱里没有孤恩者的住处吗？

难道他们没有思维吗？真主创造天地万物，只依真理和定期，有许多人的确不信将与他们的主相会。

你说：“我们的主，将召集我们，然后，依真理而为我们裁判，他确是最善于裁判的，确是全知的。”

你说：“我的主，以真理射击虚伪，他是全知幽玄的。”

我确已使你本真理而为报喜者和警告者。没有一个民族则已，只要有一个民族，其中就有警告者曾经逝去了。

不然！他昭示了真理，并证实了历代的使者。

当时，他们去见达五德，他为他们而恐怖。他们说：“你不要恐怖！我们是两造，被告曾欺凌了原告，请你为我们秉公裁判，请你不要偏袒，请你指引我们正路。

达五德啊！我确已任命你为大地的代治者，你当替人民秉公判决，不要顺从私欲，以免私欲使你叛离真主的大道；叛离真主的大道者，将因忘却清算之日而受严厉的刑罚。

我降示你这本包含真理的经典，你当崇拜真主，而且诚笃地顺服他。

他本着真理，创造天地；他截夜补昼，截昼补夜；他制服日月，各自运行，到一个定期。真的，他确是万能的，确是至赦的。

我确已为世人而降示你包含真理的经典，谁遵循正道，谁自受其益；谁误入歧途，谁自受其害。你绝不是他们的监护者。

大地将因它的主的光明而亮；功过薄将陈列出来；众先知和见证将被召来，他们将被秉公裁判而不受亏枉；

你将见众天神环绕在宝座的四周，颂扬他们的主，他们将被秉公裁判。或者说：“一切赞颂，全归真主--全世界的主！”

真主本真理而裁判。他们舍他而崇拜的，不奉任何物而裁判。真主确是全聪的，确是全知的。

他把从我这里发出的真理昭示他们的时候，他们说：“你们当杀戮与他一同信道者的儿子，只留下他们的女儿。”不信道者的计策，只在迷误中。

在你之前，我确已派遣许多使者，他们中有我已告诉你的，有我未告诉你的。任何使者，不应昭示迹象，除非获得真主的许可。当真主的命令来临的时候，众生将依真理而被判决；那时，反对真理的人将遭亏折。

真主降示包含真理的经典，并降示公平。你怎么能知道呢？复活时或许是临近的。
